Book Description

Meet Mary-Margareht Rose and fall in love with this playful pixie-like lady, who has become one of Sedona’s most celebrated healers. No one could have been more surprised than Mary-Margareht-Rose herself when she accidentally stumbled upon her extraordinaryhealing gifts. As a shy little Jewish-Italian girl from California, she was abused and made to feel insecure. As an adult, she had to search for her place on a planet that had not yet acknowledged the healing power of the God Source. Physic healing was relegated to the realm of “gypsy fortune tellers” and meditation was for yogi’s on a mountaintop. This book is rich with teachings and anecdotes delivered with humor and humanness, by a woman who followed her heart and learned to listen to her inner voice; in the process, transforming every obstacle into an opportunity to test her courage to manifest her true identity. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Midwest Book Review
From childhood on, Mary-Margareht Rose knew she was different. God blessed her with healing gifts that would take half a lifetime to reach fruition. Because of her gifts, the author has lost companionship with family members and friends. Some considered her a crackpot at the least. Others accused her of doing "the devil's work." These are losses she grieves, yet must accept for the greater good of those who need her.

Because she believed that all good and perfect gifts are of God, Ms. Rose persevered and embraced his healing spirit. It takes tremendous courage to say what you mean and stand behind it. This is especially true in a society that oftentimes fears or reviles what they cannot see or touch. Still, the author stands her ground and applies her gifts of healing in a suffering world.

Mary-Margareht Rose believes that humans are not simply inconsequential specks of dust, that we hold great importance in the universe. At her side through every healing are powerful Ascended Masters: Christ of Nazareth, his Mother Mary and Father Joseph, and beneficent extraterrestrial beings. I mention here only a few of her well documented successes:
she understands the root causes of physical and psychic pain;
she has gained enlightenment into causative factors of excessive weight;
she understands and can apply the healing energy of water and exercise.

By tapping into the Source of all healing power, the author has broken free of a troubled past. Mary-Margareht overcame great odds. The Courage to Be Who I Am is just the beginning of her journey.

5-0 out of 5 stars Thank you!
I appreciate the auther of this book. I remember the many times when something felt "wrong" with me but doctors and advice didn't help. I immediately connected to many areas of this book which illustrated that I was o.k. , just on my spirtual path.

I have since found some enlightened doctors and chiropractors who have their own experiences in this arena, and not just traditional medicine.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for publishing this materiel.

Book Description

Tausha is the true account of the brief life and profound teachings of a Russian mystic and healer during the 1980s, told by a disciple now living in US. Presenting fascinating and original spiritual teachings, as bizarre as Castaneda's tales of Don Juan, Tausha is suspenseful and intriguing. It offers insight into the famous "psychic discoveries behind the iron curtain" and the KGB's nefarious involvement with paranormal phenomena. Its strange tale unfolds during the final decade of the Soviet regime, evoking the struggles of people seeking esoteric knowledge. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Living light from Russia
Because Russia has for so long been disconnected from the flow of people, ideas and information that has over the last century so enriched the consciousness of the rest of the world, most of us know little about the spiritual insides of this deep and mysterious land. As many of us have suspected from the scant but intriguing stories of extrasensory discoveries behind the iron curtain, from what we know of the legacy of original teachers such as Gurdieff and Ouspensky, and even from the novels of Dostoevsky, there is a deep and unique vein of other-worldly connection in the Russian tradition. Some dimensions of it are profoundly spiritual, producing an effulgence of light and wisdom, while other aspects have been developed in the service of darkness, for sinister use by the KGB (the secret police) and for psychic warfare.

The interplay between the forces of light and darkness is a part of this story as well, as Beliaev seeks initially to make sense of some terrifying encounters with "the Prince of the World" (aka the Prince of Darkness) and other dark beings who came to him from time to time during the earlier part of his spiritual journey. His inner world ignited when he met a strange and powerful spiritual master, Tausha, who was essentially a living channel of light and healing, and who imparted the techniques of being a vehicle of this light to his disciples.

The conflict between light and dark in the author's inner universe culminates during a sojourn with Tausha and his band of followers in the Armenian mountains when, to Beliaev's utter horror, the Prince appears on the crest of the hill beyond their campfire - and he sees the features of the Dark One suddenly reflected through his teacher's face. He made the traumatic decision to abandon Tausha on the spot, precipitating a long period of confusion, as the student, bereft of his teacher and the living flow, struggles to make sense of it all on his own. Eventually, they are reunited for a brief time before Tausha's untimely death.

The master's purpose for himself and his disciples was, as he put it,"to establish the site of another reality in this gloomy world - a reality where the natural course of evolution can be restored.....The plan is to create a Shambala-like place, a place hospitable to the flow, right here in the midst of the Soviet madness, in the city, not in a faraway retreat. ...When I say 'a place', I don't mean a concrete location, I mean an energy structure, a sacred bowl filled up with energy and acting as an energy preserve."

Living beneath this continual and ever-increasing downpour of energy was a transformative and blissful experience for the group, infusing not just their minds and bodies with light, vibrancy and supreme aliveness, but filling them up as well with the imperative to channel this awareness into the world. It was life in a state of Grace.

Tausha teaches them that they are not working alone. Initiating the process requires a blessing from a higher source. The Sufi masters call this light of blessing baraka, which means grace, or the power given for the Work. What is required of those who receive this blessing is service - a dedication to becoming a channel, a link that connects the realm of the higher energies to this world. Of necessity, a healer who seeks to serve in this way must do the difficult inner spiritual work of dissolving the ego in order to become a pure, empty channel.

Tausha is a very creative teacher and instructs them in various disciplines. Some are original to him, and some are traditional, among them Kunta yoga, a yoga of mystical symbols and mantras. The author gives us a fascinating introduction to some of the basic glyphs, explaining that when meditating on these symbols, one comes into resonance with Shakti, the creative energy of the cosmos.

In the end, Tausha dies alone in the woods. But the end turns out to be but another astonishing beginning in this transcendental tale, for his death simply inaugurated another phase of the mission. He appears to the group again, months after his death, matter-of-factly walking in the door as they were meditating, looking very corporeal in his astral form. He offered them now an even greater opportunity to live in the Flow, since he could in his new embodiment in the Light even better guide, protect and supply the group with energy than before.

Perhaps the most beautiful part of the book was not so much the story of Tausha and his life and teachings, stellar as these were, but the existential distillation in the end of Beliaev's own life and experience as he evolves beyond the personal touch of his teacher. In the end he was blessed with an awareness of something higher than the flow..the Presence. And he now clearly deserves the honour of being called a master healer and teacher in his own right.

"Tausha - The Life and Teachings of a Russian Mystic" is an incredibly rich and illuminating book. It's an original vision of tremendous depth and power, capturing the sublime in an exquisite prism of elegant prose. It truly deserves a place on the spiritual seeker's bookshelf beside the volumes of Castaneda, the tales of the Sufis and all other such works of authentic spiritual vision that the new global dawning of higher consciousness has brought forth. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars the definitive account of the 'New Phase'
Anyone who has ever searched for an authentic spiritual path will identify with Juan Sgolastra's journey. A young man at odds with the world is convinced that there must be more to life than the conventional answers that are offered to him. But immersing himself in esoteric literature seems only to deepen his despair and alienation. Then, by a remarkable series of coincidences, the military service he has done his best to avoid leads to a rare opportunity to meet a genuine teaching master. Even so, it's an opportunity he nearly passes up. And one that will be followed through only years later, on the other side of the world.

'The Way' is a remarkable account of the interaction between master and disciple, set against the backdrop of the contemporary world. Unlike other mystical odysseys, however, it provides a fascinating insight into the subtlety of the process. There are no exotic locations, dramatic performances or terrifying ordeals in 'The Way' - only the story of life in a small Italian provincial town, of hints and indications that could easily be missed, of hard work to overcome a lifetime's conditioning and negativity. Yet there is also a picture of a flourishing school, operating almost invisibly in a world fixated by the exciting and the spurious, offering contact with a kind of teaching usually assumed only to exist in remote, inaccessible places - or in other times. And an impression of an extraordinary master, inheritor of an ancient tradition, whose work is absolutely of the time, the place and the people with whom he works.

'The Way' offers hope - and opportunity - to all of us who, like Juan Sgolastra, have searched for a true path. And who have failed to find it in the numerous attractive, but ultimately fruitless, offerings in the 'spiritual' marketplace. Its message will be instantly recognizable to anyone who is familiar with, for instance, the contemporary presentation of Sufi ideas - and who has been eagerly awaiting a 'new phase' of teaching.

4-0 out of 5 stars a key book
The subject matter of The Way, one person's encounter with a contemporary "Master", links it in some ways to the casteneda series and other student-teacher works. The context, that humanity's evolution is linked to an overall plan for the universe and that we are now at a critical time in our evolution, suggests that all is not what it appears to be vis a vis who we are and what we are doing on this planet.
What i liked about this book is that it presents its subject matter in a very prosaic manner, refusing to get carried away or lost in mysticsm or other fantasy. For example, we are told that humanity's evolution (cerebral rather than physical) is directly influenced by radiation from the sun, in the sense that the solar winds, those discharges of elementary particles and electro-magnetic radiation, can effect the way you think and percieve the world around you. This ties in with the latest thinking about conciousness and electromagnetic fields.
In addition it presents the "master" or teacher of mysteries as a very normal human being alive and living in a western context, and that The way should be lived as such, by us here and now, no need to go off to exotic places and sit at the feet of bearded men in robes, and it makes sense that this is so, the teaching is presented in a way which is in harmony with its environment.
The book is definately adressing people living right now, not some abstract human being, and the information given towards the end about the years to come and what might or might not happen lends it an urgency far removed from the vague enterprises of finding "oneself" or "the truth". We are, according to many traditions, living at some kind of critical juncture for humanity, and for those who might want to know what that means or what to do about it, this book certainly offers food for thought.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Way is the way to go...
Are you a true seeker of the Truth?
If so, this is the right book for you!
Are you searching for a real, living and operating Master of today? If so, the contents of this book will serve their purpose.
If you have always been searching for a spiritual Path, this book will definitely change you and your life... for the better and for good...
This book is to be eaten, it is real food for the hungry soul, tired of looking for existential answers, empty and ready to be filled with Knowledge, Light and Self-Understanding...
Experience this book with the whole of you and try not to think... read it with your Heart, the one to be re-connected... soon... ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fascinating insight into the Reagan presidency
This book should be a lot better known. Not only does it provide a fascinating insight into the Reagan presidency, but it also does a good job of explaining exactly what a professional astrologer does and how he works. As Quigley explains it, astrology is not fortune telling, but a useful tool for making the most of opportunities and minimizing setbacks. Could it have been astrology that was Reagan's "teflon"? As the Reagans' personal astrologer, Quigley chose the timing of Air Force One's departures, congressional arm-twisting meetings, press conferences, the timing and locations of summit conferences; gave advice on how to handle Mikhail Gorbachev and what demands to make in negotiations. She was also responsible for the remaking of Nancy Reagan's public image. Those who know something about astrology will nod in recognition at a lot of Quigley's insights; those who scoff at astrology will be drop-jawed. Ms. Quigley writes well, although I detect the hand of an editor in several places, especially on those occasions when Quigley attributes remarks to Mrs. Reagan disparaging the elder Bush. These sentences are inconsistent with the tone of the rest of the book and appear to have been inserted to give the book some "dirt." I found this a fascinating book and would recommend it to anyone interested in astrology or in the Reagan presidency. There's a lot to ponder here.

3-0 out of 5 stars Rather Dull and too much Focus on Astrology
This book is interesting for one reason, and one reason alone: Joan Quigley, as Mrs. Reagan's personal astrologist, was able to influence world events. At least, that's what appears to be the case if one believes Ms. Quigley's account. However, considering how exciting this book could have been, it is actually rather dull. There is a lot of talk about astrological signs and symbols that the average reader has no chance of understanding.

I do not believe in astrology. The most interesting part about Ms. Quigley's contention that astrology is a respectable field--just like any scientific endeavor. If that is true, why is Ms. Quigley free to publish her private accounts with Mrs. Reagan? If astrology is a respectable field, shouldn't there be limits to how much information you can reveal about private information with another person? ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Not your ordinary journal
"Walk to Where the Butterflies Are" is an amazing journal that combines a woman's search for healing after she is diagnosed with leukemia and a series of remarkable messages she receives as they are channeled from a nonplanetary committee through a friend of hers.

Joy Jones learns she has cancer in late 1983, and takes the suggestion of her doctor that she begin a journal to help her deal with the emotional aspects of fighting the disease. Along with writing about her feelings and her search for a healing lifestyle, she shares her thoughts and emotions with her good friend, Rodney McKeever. After about three months, Rod begins to receive mental messages relating to Joy's struggle to live life as fully as possible in the shadow of cancer. He begins by writing down what he hears in his mind, but rapidly progresses to speaking the messages directly to Joy. Since both Rod and Joy know how to write and read Gregg shorthand, Joy can easily write down every "sharing", as they choose to call each message, as it is spoken.

The messages, which continued for eight years, are jam-packed with detailed information for all people who are looking for ways to cope with the difficulties of life on planet Earth, not only people who have a life-threatening disease. Some of the topics covered in the sharings are how to direct your energy for maximum physical and emotional health, the nature of nonplanetary life, the reason for and value of planetary life, and the identity of the members of the committee who speak through Rodney McKeever.

"Walk to Where the Butterflies Are" is a must read book for anyone who is curious about the reasons we have chosen to be conscious, living beings on this planet. It is structured in journal form, making it easy to read and digest one entry at a time. The committee members speak in beautiful, easy-to-understand language, and I felt a sense of calm and peace as I read each journal entry, as if the healing messages in the book were meant not just for Joy but for anyone who heard or read them. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. ... Read more

Book Description

Cathy Lee Crosby is an internationally known and multitalented actress, writer, and producer--star of stage, film, and television. Six years ago, however, in spite of her success, four traumatic events left her world in chaos and despair: the death of her grandmother, contracting Epstein-Barr Syndrome, divorcing football star Joe Theisman and declaring bankruptcy after Joe sued her for half of everything.

Let the Magic Begin is the powerful, inspiring story of Cathy Lee's journey back in the realm of what she calls the Bliss Zone. In her totally entertaining, yet heartfelt account of how her life forced her out of the "march" of reality, and into that magical place we all knew as children where pure energy, creativity, and joy abound, and where "coincidences" open up a whole new world of possibility in each and every moment. With grace, humor, and courage, she re-ignites, step-by-step, the magnificence of who we really are.

Let the Magic Begin chronicles Cathy Lee's remarkable adventure back into the "magic" of her life, and her story will passionately compel readers to begin living lives filled with what they had only thought were in their dreams. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars trite spirituality from the "Where is she now?" file
This book is mainly interesting to those who wonder "Whatever became of that star from TV's That's Incredible?"As this autobiography (of sorts) indicates, she hit rock bottom.Bankruptcy, sued by her former lover, career going nowhere.

She then tells us how she recovered through discovering a "spiritual path."Talked to shamans and such.Began eating health food from Trader Joe's.She includes recommended food at the back of the book, including brand names.

She drops lots of celebrity names to let us know how "connected" she is to Hollywood. She dishes no dirt on anyone.Nothing juicy in this book. This is no "tell all," but rather her calling card to get back in the business.

I was a fan of That's Incredible, so I bought the book.Reading it, I ended liking her more, and respecting her less. She seems a nice person, but real flakey.Typical Hollywood personality.

If you enjoyed That's Incredible, and wonder whatever became of its star, you may enjoy this book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Magic Begins With Perception....
It's been awhile since I've read Cathy Lee Crosby's book, but when I finished it I recommended it to friends "in need" and they loved it, too.I want to recommend it to you.

I've rated "Let the MagicBegin" with five stars because it is an inspiring story of a woman ona magical journey...if I had not believed that the events had happened asmagically as they seemed to, perhaps I would have rated it lower, but Ihave seen the power of "coincidence" in my own life enough toknow that there is no such thing! As Cathy clearly points out in the courseof her story, perception is the key to the magic of life. First you mustbelieve to make the magic work!

Read this book if you feel there issomething undefinable missing in your life.Read it if you want to stopmaking the same mistakes over and over again.Absolutely read it if youfeel you have an insurmountable problem. Read it if you'd like to become ahealthier person...read it if you like people.... But most importantly, when you read it, Believe, and the believing will make it so.

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy Read -- Deep Work
Cathy Lee's book is beautifully written. Her journey takes every popular"how-to" book in my library at least one step further, farther, faster. I have been buying copies for everyone I know who's forgotten howto have fun!

Cathy Lee's magical journey is an inspiration to all of us. Thak you for sharing your experience with all the other dreamers of the world. Reba McEntir

5-0 out of 5 stars Son of Prophecy - by Jake Conrad
This book is so filled with adventure and intrigue that you just can't put it down. Jake Conrad is superb in his weaving the life of this remarkable character, Yellowsnake, from his life on a reservation to the jungles of Vietnam. Yellowsnake was taught well in the ways of his great Commanche herritage and went on to be a super Warrior for the battles of Vietnam, His physical strength and abilities, keen mind and his will to get the job done with whatever it takes, make him a true super hero. He finds a place in the mighty Suprstitions Mtns. of Arizona to rest his body and soul and to wait for yet another call from the C.I.A. Yellowsnake was truly one of the best tools the U.S. had.

This book would make a super movie, think of the many sequels! I would hope Conrad will give us more of this wonderfuly exciting character. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My favorite kind of book
Lesta Bertoia's "mini memoirs" are a necklace of small masterpieces. I'm always intrigued by personal accounts, but my favorites are those that let you catch glimpses of the soul world shining through the story. Lesta is a master of "double vision" -- one part slogging through the tribulations of daily life and one part looking on with deep wisdom and humor. Her writing has a gracefully casual tone that draws you in as though you were sitting across from her at the kitchen table. With unflinching honesty she describes her struggles with the real hard relationship stuff -- and shares many mind-expanding encounters with spirit. My favorite section is a profound revelation of the soul-wisdom of children, as her little boy recalls his existence as spirit. I hope there will be a sequel; Lesta is an unforgettable personality and leaves you wanting to know more of her unique insights. ... Read more

Book Description

Until his death in 1925, Steiner created the body of knowledge and practice known as anthroposophy, which challenged and ex-tended the underlying methods of modern knowledge, and inspired many practical cultural initiatives, including Waldorf education, biodynamic agriculture, the move-ment for a threefold social order, and anthroposophical medicine. Henry Barnes recounts the dynamic life of Rudolf Steiner, an active leader whose entire being was given in service to humanity and to the spirit, and places him in the crosscurrents of history. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A Powerful, Accessible Introduction to Steiner's Life & Work
Although I read this book a couple of years ago, it still stands out in my mind as exceptional and outstanding. It is comprehensive in its coverage of Steiner's ideas and work, and for a person approaching the ideas of anthroposophy for the first time, it is the perfect introduction to the man behind it all. I found the book to be much clearer on Steiner than Steiner's own writings. I was nineteen when I read the book so I will recommend that especially young people interested in Steiner get this book. When I finished reading it I was in awe of how much Rudolf Steiner accomplished in his life and the sheer number of fields of knowledge (philosophy, science, medicine, education, art, agriculture, religion) he contributed to. The book is very well written and inspired me to look more deeply into Steiner's philosophy and his work. ... Read more

Book Description

After working methodically with meditative exercises for several years, Jostein Saether had a dramatic breakthrough. Sitting in his meditation chair, he experienced vivid inner pictures of an initiation ceremony in ancient Greece. He knew with absolute conviction that it related to one of his previous lives on earth. Continued meditative work led him to trace and research many of his past lives, which he relates in this extraordinary book. He also descrobes other spiritual experiences and reflects on karmic investigation as an art and science.

Although many people today are beginning to recall former lives on earth, few have followed the rigorous discipline of specific exercises in the way that Saether has. His work has enabled him to privide vivid descriptions of past incarnations and show how they are present as transformation in his current life.

Beginning with episodes from his present life, leading to his spiritual breakthrough, Saether takes us on a journey that starts in the prehistoric ages of Lemuria and Atlantis, through the cultures of Egypt, Crete, India and Greece. He continues through early Christianity and the Middle Ages, until the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries. A few well known names appear along the way, as well as fascinating details that shed new light on history. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fascinating premise, fascinating book.....
This book has alot of stuff in it......autobiographical, spiritual, karma, past lives, and other numerous insights. The first two chapters are a little too lengthy, and quite frankly as the book itself admits, you can skip Chapter 1 & 2, and just start with Chapter 3, "Episodes From Past Lives". From then on the book is filled with many stories of his past incarnations, and historical events all garnered from the Akashic Records. Absorbing reading full of adventure and spiritual knowledge. Worth reading, and I don't know of any other book quite like it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Three Cheers for Lisa J. G. Weikel
Lisa is a gifted writer and this real-life adventure story makes for compelling reading. Fans of Jamie Sams, especially the "Medicine Cards" and books, will definitely identify with the author's own journey of self-discovery. Although I didn't always agree with every point the author had to make, this nonfiction book kept me guessing how things would turn out until the very end. I look forward to her next book and the further adventures of Lisa and Karl.

The book unraveled an ordinary couples journey to a more well rounded relationship. Not only did it open my eyes to a new way of thinking but made me realize that the more we know the more we realize the things we don't know and we can continually grow as individuals as well as a couple. ...
