5-0 out of 5 stars A wonderful book for children
My son is a Robert Munsch fan and loves to read his books. With books like this every child will become a fan of reading.
Andrew's loose tooth is funny and allows your child to laugh and learn to read.
I can not say enough about Munsch's books he does a great job getting and keeping a childs attention.

5-0 out of 5 stars My kids love this book!
Robert Munsch's amusing look at a boy's trouble with a loose tooth is a big favorite at our house. While it begins with a real situation any child with a loose tooth can understand (I can't eat my apple!), the story gets more and more ridiculous. Most kids know that while a trip to the dentist might be scary, no dentist is going to tie his tooth to a car and drive away. (And even if one did, the results are just hysterical.)

My kids also love Michael Martchenko's detailed and funny illustrations, from the little sister on the toy telephone calling the dentist (while both parents do so on two different phones), to the tooth fairy on the heavily chromed motorcycle.

Kids enjoy funny stories, especially about growing-up issues like losing a tooth. I haven't met a kid yet who didn't enjoy this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Eternal kid-pleaser!!!!!!
I have not read this book to or with a child yet who did not love it. It's offbeat humor may not be for everyone, but it is terribly clever and reading it over again always uncovers yet another laugh. The artistic humor is just fantastic. My kids are not even losing teeth anymore, but they won't let this book go!

1-0 out of 5 stars THE WORST CHILDREN'S BOOK
I bought this book for my 5 year old granddaughter who has her first loose tooth. I was shocked by the expressions of pain, the scary pictures, and the complete nonsense. I would return it, but I'd rather throw it away so some other child doesn't get this book. Having a first loose tooth should be a bit of a pleasnt event. Not, a worry about "tying the huge rope to his tooth and then to his car to speed away as fast as he could."
Garbage!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Funny!
I'm not among the legion of fans of this author's book, "Love You Forever" (but that's another review.) This book, however, is delightful -- it really appeals to the sense of humor of a five-year-old (like my son). After reading it, he's eager to have a loose tooth. As a bonus for us, it contains lots of "sh" and "th" words, which we need to practice for his speech therapy. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This Book Says "You're Special!" Five Treasured Ways
As a mother, I really like it when a book has something meaningful to say. Some books are frivolous; they teach no lessons because they're just for the fun of it. The book "If You Were My Bunny" is both fun and meaningful. This book is about the relationship between mothers and their children, and in this slim story, five animal moms tell their respective animal babies how very precious they are. My two-year-old daughter loves this book so much, she requests it every night. The songs which accompany the text (lyrics are sung to the tune of familiar lullabies) have become her bedtime songs. The lyrics are so sweet, I'm no longer allowed to sing "the old words". The sentiment of this book is wonderful, and the songs are catchy. I would recommend, however, looking at the last page before your first read - this way, you'll know what tune to use for each of the five animal's songs. The illustrations are superbly done, and just right for the 2-4 age group. It's so important to read to your kids, and when they love a book as much as my daughter loves this one, you can look forward to a special time together.

5-0 out of 5 stars couldn't put it better
My son is only 16 months and he adores this book. I have been reading this book to him since he was 3 months old and we both haven't tired of it yet. My 16 month old hums the songs and "sings" them as soon as he picks up the book. I started reading this book to my 7 week old and have a feeling he will love it too. I plan on getting one for a pregnant friend. Makes a great baby shower gift!

5-0 out of 5 stars What a wonderful book!
My 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter started singing these songs while riding in the car. She sang them over and over. I asked her mom about it and she showed me this great book. She especially likes the one about the bear cubs as we have bears visit our property. Kids can't help but get the feeling they are special when someone reads this book to them. How many times do we say "I'm lucky to be your parent" to our kids because they are so awesome? This book does that. This book is comforting. It relays the message that we are here to take care of them, protect them and love them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Super Sweet Bedtime Story
Really sweet stories (songs, actually) that are also very funny. Mama animals and their babies at bedtime - very touching, but some of the words are also very amusing. Even my husband loves to "sing" these stories to our 4-year old daughter. An excellent choice for bedtime! One of our all-time favorites!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful bedtime book!!
I am so glad we bought this book! It's been in our bedtime story rotation for about a year now and our two 4 year olds still request it over and over. The structure of the book presents an opportunity for the parent to both read sweet, sleepy stories and sing soft lullabies. My children now sing them with me and are ready for bed when we're done. The illustrations are beautiful. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A Pueblo Indian tale.
This children's book is based on an old Pueblo Indian tale about a boy who is son of the Sun and who wishes to meet his father. He is shaped into an arrow and shot towards the Sun. He meets several tests and his father has him return to Earth to teach man of the Sun's spirit. The book won the 1975 Caldecott Medal for best illustrations in a book for children. Children will love the story and the colors of the book have a great appeal.

5-0 out of 5 stars A memorable childhood book
Arrow to the Sun is one of the only books I actually remember from childhood. I remember being particularly struk by the artwork, and the story fascinated me. It's the tale of a boy's search for his father, which leads him on a dazzling voyage on an arrow to the sun.

5-0 out of 5 stars Why I love Arrow to the Sun
This book just calls to me. I love the words, I love the pictures. Most of the time when I read a book over and over I get bored with the book. But every time I read this book I love it even more. I give it 5 stars. I think it is the best book ever.

1-0 out of 5 stars This is NOT a good book for teaching about Pueblo people
With dismay, I read the customer reviews of this book. There are 19 Pueblos in New Mexico, and more in Arizona. Which Pueblo is this book about? There is great variation from one to the other. Most troubling, however, is McDermott's presentation of the kiva. Our kivas are not places of trial. They are more akin to churches and temples where cultural knowledge is passed on from one generation to the next. Finally, extended families are central to Pueblo culture, and there is no stain of illegitimacy conferred on those who don't know who their father is. This book should NOT be used to teach about Pueblo Indians. These errors are major ones.

5-0 out of 5 stars as good as i remember
My mother read this book to me when I was a child, and I remember loving it, but hadn't seen it in probably 15 years until I bought it for my nephew. It is as good as I remember.

I can attest to the fact that the high contrast, brightly colored drawings are mesmerizing for a small child. The best part of the book is when the boy must complete four tasks for the sun god to prove himself. The tasks are not narrated, you get to see how the tasks are completed from how the drawings change. It's so cool! I felt very smart as a little kid being able to discover what he did and figure it our for myself.

On a cultural note, the narrative is similar to the Christ story. Mother gives birth to the boy (a virgin birth) after the sun god sends a ray of energy to her. The boy grows up and wants to know who his father is, and goes on a quest to find him and prove that he is indeed the son of the sun god. (That's why he becomes an arrow to the sun!)

I think it's good for a child to be exposed to this story to begin to understand the universal elements of religion and that all cultures have a lot in common. Even those that seem strange are not so different from our own. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars memories of my childhood
I love the Piggle-Wiggle books! I was first introduced to the seres when my third grade teacher read them to the class. I have enjoyed reading them to my own students since then...Children love hearing about the different tales and adventures of the children who are friends of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle! The stories come alive for all people who hear these stories because it's so easy to relate to. I think we all can remember a time when we had trouble interrupting or not cleaning up after ourselves!!!! These stories are a true treasure!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Mrs. Piggle Wiggle Magic
I am 35 years old and can still remember my mother reading us these story every night. No matter how many times we heard them over and over it was the best time we spent together. I now have a daugter of my own and can't wait to read the same storys to her. I loved all the funny things she would do the kids to get them to listen to their parents.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Funny
I have read this tory to students in my class ranging from kindergartners to third graders. All of my students have enjoyed the story and went on to read the other titles as well. The humor used in the book is very good. Children can relate to some of the problems Miss Piggly Wiggly cures. We even used her humor in class as we decided how some of our personalities fit with the children's in the story. I would highly recommend this story as a read aloud for younger children or independent reading for third grade and higher.

5-0 out of 5 stars Delightful And Funny
This is a delightful and funny book for children. I read it a few years ago and thought to myself, this is a funny book, but adults shouldn't really read it because they might not like it like me. It's childish humor about an old lady who likes children. Buy this for your children.

3-0 out of 5 stars Cute, humorous, but dated
I read the Ms. Piggle-Wiggle books in second & third grade & enjoyed them, but now as an adult & writer, I leafed through the books again recently & find them to be unrealistic & dated. You can tell the books are set WAY back in the olden days(1950's) where people were more ignorant in general & wanted to fantasize about "perfect" traditional WASP families where all the Mommies were happy housewives who never held a job & all the Daddies rushed off to work five mornings a week & divorce, sex, peer pressure, & poverty are unheard of. The magic parts are appealing to kids of any era. But then that magic was played out in the conservative fantasy of having the children cured of faults, creating "perfect" children who gave parents no trouble. Especially troubling is the story about the "crybaby". In the end when the girl was cured of crying so much, she promised her parents, "I'm never going to cry again. No matter what happens." That might give a wrong message to highly sensitive kids who cry easily. Mary Anne Spier of the BSC series & the biggest crier in Stoneybrook, Connecticut was lucky not to be around back then! So...parents: before you read these with your kids make sure they understand that these stories are influenced by the suburbia feminine mystique fantasies that plagued most of the US in the fifties. Another word of warning: spanking is presented as acceptable in these books. The books could be used as a catalyst of discussion in classrooms & families about how people idealized how life "should" be...then & today. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Father Bear Comes Home
There are 4 different stories in this book. My favorite was Little Bear's Mermaid. I liked when Little Bear saw the mermaid when his mom and dad were sleeping. I also liked when Little Bear went fishing. Other kids will like this book because it has many stories in it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Only the best
The Little Bear saga are truly classic. From the artwork and storylines you think you are reading a Victorian era storybook. No your grandmother didn't read these stories to you. Soon enough we will be reading them to our grandchildren. Buy the hardback versions, your grandkids will love them.

3-0 out of 5 stars The Stupids Die
I am a student of West Virginia State College, currently taking a class on Children's Literature. Mr. Samples (A Wonderful Teacher) has instructed us to review a Challenged/Censored book and write our thoughts on it. I read this book as a child and wanted to read it again to see what the fuss was about and why it would be censored. As a child, I read these books because they were ridiculous, therefore funny! As an adult, I can see that some might object to the use of the word "Stupid" and the use of confusing illustrations. Some of the illustrations may be a picture of a dog with the label "fish" on it. This would obviously confuse a younger child, but I remember finding that hilarious! As I said, I can see why some would find the use of the word "Stupid" objectionable, but I sure wasn't ruined by it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Completely inappropriate!
Since I cannot give this series a 0 rating, a one will have to suffice.
In this day and age we try to teach our children not to call others stupid, they are reprimanded at home and in school for such things, yet these books are given to our children? We were disgusted when our daughter received one of the Stupids books at school from a teacher.
These charecters call each other stupid throughout the books, disgusting! Exactly the opposite of what parents are trying to teach their children.

Don't waste your money on this ...

4-0 out of 5 stars Innocent, laugh-out-loud favourite...
We recently discovered this book and, given the word "die" in the title, I wasn't so sure it would be appropriate. I was quickly reassured by the good-natured tone of Allard's prose, and the kids (5 and 7, both reading) had a great time hunting for quirky "in-jokes" in the background on each page (like a picture, hanging in the Stupids' home, of three beach balls with the caption "The Pyramids").

This book was originally published in the 1977, and it's amazing to see how innocent its prose is in contrast to kids' books today. But this book is never dull or didactic, and it will delight the entire family over and over, while its simple dialogue will thrill early readers (when the lights go out, the Stupids simply declare, "We must be dead."!!!). I'm thrilled this book has been reprinted; we will definitely be hunting down other "Stupids" books in future.

5-0 out of 5 stars My son LOVES the STUPID'S!
We have read several of the Allard and Marshall books about the Stupid's. We normally don't even say the word "stupid" in our home so when my son brought a book home from the school library with the word in the title, I was reluctant. But what a funny concept....this family does everything opposite of normal; the storylines and illustrations are hilarious! This book we just read tonight and Allard and Marshall did not let us down!

5-0 out of 5 stars Too Funny!!
I read this book to my daughter 15 years ago. We both laughed till we cried. She's getting married in one year, and wants her own copy of the book for her wedding present, along with any other Harry Allard's I can find!! I hope the others that I found at Amazon.com aren't even funnier because we might die from laughter!! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Aaron's Hair
I have enjoyed several Robert Munsch stories and enjoy them all very much.I love to read them with the children that I care for as well as my own Son.As many of you are aware when reading these stories there is always a key line that the children can remember and share while reading aloud.I was dissapointed however, that the strong line in this story was "Hair! I hate you!"I thought that this is a very negative and strong word to teach young children.

5-0 out of 5 stars Aaron's Hair
The first time I saw this book was when it was told in sign language to a group of deaf children. The narrator was so demonstrative the whole room was in stitches. Then the children acted out the story in sign and it was hilarious. It has become the favorite book of both my 2-year-old and 8-year-old grandchildren. The story of Aaron and his hair is so funny.I have not read a better child's book in my 40 years of reading them...and I have read many.

5-0 out of 5 stars Robert Munsch rocks!!
I actually haven't read this particular book, but having grown up on Robert Munsch, I can say that he is one of the most brilliant storytellers for children of our time.I can vividly remember the plots and choral repitititions (or as the other review calls them " uninventively repetitive text") from books that I haven't looked at in 10 years. If you have a pre-schooler or teach little kids, this seireis of books is an absolute must."hey mud puddle!!!" ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Just Me and My Mom
This book is about a kid who goes with his mom to town and he lost the ticket on the train so his mom had to pay more. They got there and it was really busy. They go to a museum and he gets in trouble. He was tired on the way home. I would recommend this to a five-year-old. This was a book about getting in trouble a lot.

4-0 out of 5 stars Little Critter Just Me and Mom
The little critter is a wonderful series of books.

Especially this one because it talks to kids about the

importance of staying with your parent when your out in the city.

You could get lost or even kidnapped if you wander away. This

book tells you in a fun way why to stay with your mom and

spending quality time with her can bring you to closer

together. That is why this litte critter book is a good choice.

5-0 out of 5 stars Little Critter always gets big "Hoorays"!
Little Critter books are my two year old's favorite books. He feels in touch with Critter and easily identifies with many of Critters adventures. "Just Me and My Mom" is also a favorite of mine, for obvious reasons. Parents can also pick up on little lessons in parenting. "Just Me and My Mom" teaches children that being adventuresome can also get you into trouble if you're not careful. Independence is rewarded however, children need to learn about being responsible for losing money (tickets), not wandering from parents in public places, respecting authority, and obeying the rules. Mercer Mayer's illustrations are aslo filled with activity and hidden critters. Every time we read his books we find something new on every page. This book is a wonderful look at a day a tourism from the eyes of a child. I applaud this and and every book by this talented author/illustrator.

4-0 out of 5 stars A book that I don't mind reading again & again!
As it chronicles a day with Mom, this book provides interesting pictures and opportunities to discuss some imporant issues like staying with mom in public places. Mercer Mayer manages to provide adult interest with humorous illustrations and by presenting situations that most parents hope to avoid but just might happen on "one of those days." ... Read more

If only words could describe Chuck Murphy's Color Surprises aswell as his gasp-inducing pop-ups manage to capture the essence of each color ofthe rainbow. Each page of this little wonder--one of the best, most artisticpop-up books we've ever seen--features a single, solid-colored square. With aquick pull or gentle push, however, one of nature's creatures slithers, flies,or bounces out of the square and (almost) off the page. Red is a gracefullyunfolding starfish, and blue is a pleasantly popping parrot. We'd love to givethe rest away, but half the pleasure of this fine book is in the discovery. Agreat gift for any adult on your list, but kids who like animals (meaning allkids) will love it, too. (Ages 3 to 103) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent book for pre-readers
My toddler (age 2 years and 1 month) loves this book. It's brightly colored and simple, but the pop-up sections give her little hands something to do and the pictures are delightful. The entire book is deceptively simple, actually: a very young child can laugh at the pictures, an older one can make the animal noises, and an older one yet can name the colors and each figure.

I also like the fact that the pop-ups are fairly strong, so they don't rip easily.

Highly recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely beautiful and delightfully educational
My 18-month-old son and I both fell in love with this book at first sight. Between the deceitfully simple black-and-white covers lie the many artistically created surprises. My son loves to flip the solid-colored flaps--under considerate supervision so that he does not tear the delicate figures--to see what's hidden behind and has never ceased to be amazed. As he pages through the book, he would say the names of the featured animals that he has learned, "tigger" "fish" ... he would sit there and look at this book for a dozen times or more, and he always comes back to ask to read it the next day. The beautifully designed and perfectly crafted surprises have really impressed him. It delights as well as teaches. An excellent book for kids as well as "big people" who love good books. I am getting a few more copies for friends with young children. (p.s. Murphy`s "one to ten pop-up surpises" is just as wonderful and enchanting, but a little bit too delicate for our little guy's fingers to handle--to pull, to dial, etc., so I always need to help him with that one.)

5-0 out of 5 stars So good we bought it again
My son is visually impaired and just loves this book. He actually learned how to crawl by his father and i sitting at opposite ends of the room and "reading" the book. He would crawl between us. I could get him to stop anything he was doing and crawl to the book. Then he wants you to read and read and read it. We read it so much in his first year, we had to buy it again. Yes it is not durable, but I don't think there is much to be done about that.

5-0 out of 5 stars a spectacular exploration of color
Chuck Murphy is a treasure. Children and adults alike will thrill to the magical images revealed with the lift of a flap or the pull of a tab. A pink flamingo, purple butterflies, a blue parrot .... these are just three of the beautiful images that pop up, and the multi-colored finale never fails to elicit a squeal of delight from our two-year old.

We have given several of Mr. Murphy's books as gifts and they are always appreciated, even by kids who normally prefer mechanical toys to books. Two of the pages use tab manipulatives and are a bit more difficult for young children.

5-0 out of 5 stars Entrancing!!! My now 13 mo old loves it
Its joined his list of favorites -- He reads it a dozen times at a sitting and has learned to pull the tabs and open the flaps albeit with a little supervision so that he doesn't get carried away and try and pull those amazing images off the page. The only delicate one is the green pull tab of the snake. I've had to fix that twice in the last month. Its so beautiful, I don't mind experiencing it umpteen times a day with my son. Its incredibly educational too -- He's already learned to make tiger sounds!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars "Can't Go Wrong With Little Critter"
We are huge fans of Little Critter, so I knew we couldn't go wrong with The New Potty. The story contains typical elements found in many potty books: introduction to the new potty, playing with the new potty, accidents, transition to underpants, and eventual success. What sets all Mayer books apart? The critters talk and act like real life children. And the illustrations are a hoot! Such as the look of terror on Little's Sisters face when greeted with the pink "Critter Potty." Or Little Critter hollering for Mom when his sister misses the potty and almost wets his foot. And that pet mouse...

We have read almost every potty book available on the market as of 9/2003 (over two dozen!). Most fit into two categories: INSTRUCTIONAL books that introduce the skills needed to master the potty; and those that are primarily ENTERTAINING, for children who understand what is supposed to happen on the potty, but need extra time to make it happen. This book contains a little instruction and a lot of entertainment. Try it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Worried That Your Child Will Never Use the Toilett?
We bought this book as well as several other books, when we noticed our child wasn't buying into our advice about how convenient it is for him as well as his parents that he use the toilett, we resorted to this method and it seemed to work all by itself with little influence from the adults. We simply sat down and read it to him and voila.. it worked. I have no idea which book hat the most influence but this was one of them.

3-0 out of 5 stars i think i memorized it ?
This book is short and sweet. My girl still loves it many years after she trained. It is cute and kinda is more for girls. Is there one like it for boy's from Mercer Mayer? The sand box accident is her favorite or was it the accident when brother helped? I liked it when mom was doing laundry and she asked brother to take sister to the potty? The look on his face !

5-0 out of 5 stars The New Potty
What a great learning tool! My daughter loves this book. She is successfully potty trained! Yeepee! This book describes everything, even the time when purchasing the potty chair. It even describes "accidents", which let her know that they will happen and that it is OK. I love the way the entire family helps with the potty training. This will be very helpful when my younger child starts potty training! Great book! Good luck!

5-0 out of 5 stars The New Potty a Kid Favorite
My son loves this book! We actually now have two - one for home and one when he travels to the sitter or grandparents' house, etc. The picures are colorful and attract your immediately. The story is simple and gets the whole family involved in the potty training process. It is very positive and easy to understand so little ones can follow the meaning. I (and my son) highly recommend it. My son feels it is a 'must read' when going to the potty. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars God Save George and Martha!
These are great tales of friendship--even for beginners, like my 4 yr old preschool class. They love all the little stories. A few go over their heads, but they get the concept of the humor and companionship represented by these sweet, lovable, sometimes mischevious and selfish hippos. I've tried reading them the other George and Martha books, but this is their favorite. Gosh, thank God for James Marshall and his inventions!
(We have an old copy---the kids love the "pink cookies" Martha offers George instead of pea soup!)
Sampling:
George doesnt want to eat Marthas pea soup, so he pours it in his shoes
George knocks out his favorite tooth. Which is your favorite tooth?
George gets tired of Martha looking at herself in the mirror all the time; she even wakes up in the middle of the nite to do it. So he pastes a silly picture of her on her mirror....
There are George and Martha stuffed animals out there, too.
Any relation to George and Martha Washington?

5-0 out of 5 stars Interesting in a very very very very good way
This is a terrific book for anybody, even though its marketed as a young children's book. I love this book, (and I'm 12) and my parents and older sister, (who pretends not to) do too. This book chronicles the stories of two best friends, who just so happen to be hippos. They relate moral messages, but in a far from preachy way. The illustrations are colorful and the two hippos are shown as cute and cuddly. (awwww.... they sell these really cute George and Martha dolls somewhere) In short this is a great book for anybody. So read it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Hippos Show the Way
This is just one in a fabulous series of books featuring George and Martha, the hippo equivalent of Nick and Nora Charles. Their light banter and misunderstandings set the stage for imaginative, humorous resolutions. The hippos' warmth and obviously mutual friendship is evident throughout. There are five stories in its 47 pages, with big simple pictures adorning every other page. A great book for early and late toddlers up to around age five or so.

5-0 out of 5 stars "It's important to sample new products" (Martha)
George and Martha, two hippos who are best friends have amazing adventures in this easy to read, fun to experience set of short tales.

I think, no, I'm sure that my wife likes this book more than our children do, and our children love it. There are now several quotes from this book that have become common place at our home.

One is, "It's important to sample new products."

Try this book, you'll enjoy it thoroughly. The art work appears simple, but it's appropriately wonderful to the tone and stories of these two good friends.

5 stars, no question about it.

5-0 out of 5 stars All-time favorite!

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
I found a copy of this book at my local library and my son fell in love with it after reading it only once. There is a pronunciation guide in the front, so the parent can be assured they are pronouncing everything correctly. My son has been talking about "Borreguita" non-stop and this is a book that I'm for sure going to add to his collection.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun to Read!
What fun I had reading this book out loud to my daycare kids and watching them giggle and howl each time the borreguita tricked the coyote.

This book is a classic to read aloud and share with all kids.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Favorite in our Family!
This is a delightful Mexican Tale that my children and I continue to enjoy. The glossary in the front of the book adds to the delight of the story by helping the parent read with a wonderful Spanish accent. We have read this book more than any other book we have at home. I highly recommend it.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have !!!
This is a great book! A liitle wooly and cunning lamb outwits a coyote - over and over and over. This cleverly engineered pop-up offers five three-dimensional scenes from A. A. Milne’s most beloved stories. With a turn of the page, readers can watch Pooh and his balloon float up to the top of the honey tree. In other scenes they can visit Owl’s house, help rescue Tigger from a tree, pull Pooh out of Rabbit’s hole, and play Poohsticks from the bridge. Text excerpts from each story are printed on a large tab, which, when pulled out, triggers an exciting action on each spread. 5-0 out of 5 stars Unique Approach to both Winnie the Pooh and Pop-ups.
This is a new approach to a traditional story. Your basic vignettes for Winnie-the-Pooh are there in a scruptuous 3D layout [more than pops up it has some interactive tabs as well]. At its furthest reaches, it lays out width wise to about 4 1/2ft - not a page turning book. Each of the seperate scenes are then brought up and/or down [either all at once or one at a time, your preference]...three are in the trees to the ground so are a good height as well. One includes Tigger being pulled up and down the tree and another has Eyeore floating down the river whilst Christopher Robin and Pooh are playing Pooh Sticks.

Each of the sections has a pull down section of story that can't be pulled out. It is an all around, lay down, 3 people play at once view of a fantasic story. Perfect for pop-up enthusiasts, Pooh lovers, or for a [Grand]parent and [Grand]child to play with. ... Read more
