5-0 out of 5 stars There's nothing left to hide....
The secret is out. The Yeerks have discovered the truth - that the Animorphs are not renegade Andalites, but a group of human kids. Now, they're living in a refugee camp with their families and the free Hork-Bajir. But Jake, whose parents were captured by the Yeerks, is depressed - and he fears that they are starting to slip up. It's beginning to look more and more likely each day that the Animorphs are doomed to lose the war. With the freedom and lives of everyone on Earth at stake, they are forced to make a difficult choice - one that could have terrible consequences. They decide that the time has come to make more Animorphs. This, like the last few Animorphs books, was very tense and gripping - I read the whole thing through in an hour, unable to put it down. With only four more books left and a cliffhanger ending to this one, I eagerly await the conclusion to the series. If you're an Animorphs fan, you'll definitely want to read this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Deep....Not at all what it appears to be
One thing I've always admired about the ANIMORPHS series is how deep is truly is, especially as we get closer to the end of the series. Cassie shows a true depth of character in this book, and shows that she sees connections that others don't. Allowing Tom to take the morphing cube shocked me when I first read it. I couldn't believe it. But, in hindsight, you can see what a truly brilliant move it was. The addition of new Animorphs was very creative and well-done, as well, with yet again more moral debates. As you read the entire Animorphs series, you can't expect just some simple story about kids turning into animals to fight aliens. It sounds so hokey, but it's very deep, very well-thought out, and it definitely makes you think and relate to these characters. Cassie's decisions in this book are no exception.

5-0 out of 5 stars i am 14 NOT 12 but this is easier to write my review!!! :)
At long last more animorphs!!!! I think yhis is one of the best animorph books, it's about time they added to their numbers and James and the rest are a great choice!!
1 question in this book there is a boy named Timmy with a bobcat morph but in the next books his name is Tuan????
i think we should get to know the other new animorphs more though, some of the 17 you don't even find out their names.
Anyway a great book, buy it! No buy them ALL!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Ultimate book!!!!
This book was too cool! The Animorphs are stuck. They're living in the Hork Bajir valley in the forest with their disbelieving families, and shaky resistance against an attack, should one come. Jake and Cassie are at odds and there's in-fighting at every turn, which is breaking them up. Finally, when they realize they need a bigger army, they start to recruit new Animorphs.
Without a doubt, this is a classic book in the series. You can't miss it. The people the Animorphs choose are great, the climax is exciting, and the storyline is believable. Wonderful book, KA!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Ultimate
I picked this book up...after abandoning the series for a while, and I was pleased to find that it's still going strong. Jake's depressed, their hiding with the Hork-Bajir colony, and now Visser Three knows where they live and that they're kids. So they recruit new animorphs. What happens? Well, I wouldn't spoil the book, now would I? Just pick this book up if you like animorphs, and if you've never read them, pick up one of the first few twenty books beforehand. ... Read more

The pint-sized Helmacrons left some morph-tracking technology behind, and the Yeerks have found it. As if avoiding a full-scale Animorphs hunt isn't enough, Cassie and the others must keep the morphing cube moving - so it doesn't land in the wrong hands. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Why didn't I give this book TWO stars, you ask?!
Let me explain. The Escafil Device gives the power to morph to anyone who touches it, so it's about time we get to know why something as small as an insect, or even other animals, don't come across the box and get the power. Also it brings back the Helmacron's ship and their morph-tracking technology, so the Yeerks have the Animorphs on the run and are tracing the box without stopping. But honestly, this book STINKS AMONG ALL CASSIE BOOKS!

It's not Cassie's fault, though. It's Applegate's. The entire book goes through the span of one day and night, and it's hard to believe that the Animorphs would be able to keep moving for that long. Plus, the book offers no stops, and that kills it's roller-coaster effect on the reader. It doesn't give them any breaks to stop and let the events sink into their mind, and then when the sentimental morals of Cassie arrive it's hard to prepare to take them down without throwing up at the mere mention of them! I can bare with Cassie talking about free will, and the right to murder Yeerks, and the whole thing about eating animals from book #28, The Experiment, but if the readers aren't prepared for it then it starts to get on their nerves.

However, the book does offer a lot of action, and the thing with the buffalo morphing into human situation is interesting, but the plot moves so fast it's hard to believe it actually happened.

4-0 out of 5 stars Animorphs #39: The Hidden
The Yeerks have located and repaired a damaged Helmacron morph-tracking sensor. Now they're prepared to make a full-blown hunt for the Animorphs, but most importantly-- the morphing cube. Cassie and the others can't let the cube get into alien hands at all consequences. All the while a wild animal is loose from her parents' reserve, and wraking havoc upon everything it is angered by. Cassie must dodge that animal, and protect her secret. The hunt is full-on and Cassie may never survive , let alone catch one breath. The Hidden had nonstop action, nonstop rushing, and yet this made the book very enjoyable. It's a gripper, but not one of the best in the series. One thing you'll realize immediately about The Hidden is that Cassie never, ever stops. Yet it made the book quite good, and the drama portrayed here is unforgettable. There were several sad parts in this book, but it contributed to its quality, though I wouldn't say this book had much quality in it. I thought this was a pretty good book, though not one of the best.

5-0 out of 5 stars Hilarious!
I was laughing sooo hard at some of the parts! And the Cassie-ant part was funny, along will all of the other parts with the morphing animals. It was also funny when the bull blew up. hehehe, I must have a bad sense of humor.

3-0 out of 5 stars A Fairly Decent Book
People often dislike books that focus on ethics rather than action; I usually beg to differ. The Hidden, however, was one of those books that has a lot of action and some plot holes to go with it. I think the writer should have put more effort into this book. It seemed very rushed. I disagreed with the morality issue because logically, it's incorrect. I still recommend this book because it makes you think, and come to your own conclusion about sentience. The ending was interesting, although slightly unrealistic, and it was a fairly decent book. I definitely recommend all Cassie books because her qualms are, at the very least, nearly on-target. The ethical questions are my favorite part of this series.

Also recommended: #7, #19, #23, #26, #33, #41, #43, #48, #49

4-0 out of 5 stars The Hidden
I thought this book moved a bit too fast but was really good because as well as all the action it really made you think. This book is mostly about the Animorphs on the run from the Yeerks who have activated the Helmacron's morph-finding device. When I first started this book I thought I wouldn't like it as it sounded a bit like #24, another Cassie book which I hated. But the other main plot in this book was about a buffalo accidently getting the power to morph and morphing into Chapman several times. It was very intresting and touching in some parts seeing a buffaflo trying to deal with a human form. I didn't like the bufflflo dying though since I had hoped for a happier ending for it. The book seemed to end too quickly after that. One thing I found strange though was Cassie's attitude towards the ant which had accquired her. She was very sympathetic towards the buffalo but after seeing the ant her first reaction was just 'kill it' which she did and never had any afterthoughts. The ant didn't know what was going on any more then the buffalo did. That didn't seem in the character of Cassie. This is one of the best recent Animorphs books, definetly better then #40 and #41 and also an improvement on #38. I advise you to read it if you like Animorphs. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Animorphs+Orcas=a great book.
I love the Animorphs. and when i read this book it was great! the kids morphs into Killer whales (Orcas) and go under water in search of a ship that the Yeerks (the animorphs main enemy)are searching for too. then while the animprphs are down there they meet another weird spices. Which they do some bad things to people (like discting humans and "stuffing" them). then after awhile the wierd spices will start to attack the Animorphs...and the Yeerks too! But will the Animorphs allie with the Yeerks? i'll leave that for you to fine that out on your own.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Animorphs find an underwater civilization
In this book, the Animorphs morph orcas to try and destroy the Sea Blade, a Yeerk sub. They find an 1812 ship, an American WWII PT boat, a WWII Japaniese Carrier with two planes on the flight deck, U-boats and Greek Galeanons. Each ship has stuffed humans in positions that make them look as if there doing there jobs. What will happen next? Read the book!

5-0 out of 5 stars Animorphs - The Mutation #36
In this book, the group turns into Orcas and search for the Sea Blade. When they finally catch up to it, they BABAAAAM into it!! They get injured so they have to keep on morphing and remorphing. Then the ship goes down, but they echolocation it and it's not sunken. I'll leave the rest for you to find out.

I am 9 years old and this is a GREAT book!!! I REALLY think you should buy it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Animorphs The Mutation
This book starts out slow, it has the usually story line, good vs evil. Except in this book, the heroes are kids instead of adults, and they can transform into any animal they see fit. They are trying to find the Pemalite ship, a ship with very advanced technology from another world, they need to get to it before the Yeerk does (the evil guy). With the Pemalite ship, the Yeerk could take over earth in a matter of days, so it is imperative that they find the ship and dispose of it. It is hidden deep under the ocean, so the kids transform into whales to reach it. As they are searching they discover an ancient civilization of fish men, called the Nartecs. The Nartecs, too, are looking for the ship. But as they are searching, they have to battle the Visser 3 of the Yeerk, and his dangerous ship, the Seablade.

5-0 out of 5 stars Probably the best Jake book since #26!
The debut of the Sea Blade, which we know already sounds like trouble by the sound of it, is a great one. With the Animorphs attempting to destroy it, they discover a whole other civilization underwater. The Nartec race is a mutated one, coming from humans long ago and "devolving"(that's the key term here, it's truly tragic for the race) while they take the ships and technology from the surface, including the Sea Blade, to once again take the land.

I really liked the end, which I will not spoil for you, but it's really good and fun to read. There is a little softness towards the Nartec, but that still doesn't keep me from giving this book a five. Let's hope the rest of the books follow this pattern. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars APPLEGATE'S BEST YET
Wow this is a great book that is not boring like some Sc-Fi books. It is full of action and it is the first one that has the Elimist in it. I liked the part when They had to destroy the fake sun that the yeerks use to stay alive and it was cool when the Elimist took them into the future and told them what could of happened. In this book Rachel has to make a big decision. Should she move with her dad and leave the battle of the Yeerk or would she abanden her dad and stay and fight the yeerks. If you will read this book you will see Rachel's point of view with the Elimist story and you will see if she stays or moves away with her dad. Find this all out in Animorphs #7 The Stranger.

5-0 out of 5 stars I Should Know This Book
I should know this book I had to write a report on it.Here is my summaryThe science-fiction novel I read was called The Stranger. It is by K.A.Applegate and is the seventh book in the Animorphs series. The story is about a young girl named Rachel. She had been given the power to morph into other animals by an alien called an Andalite. With her friends Jake,Cassie, and Marco. They battle evil alien slugs called Yeerks. They crawl inside your head and sink into your brain using their power to control you. Then there is Tobias. He stayed in a morph for over the time period, two hours, and is trapped in his morph. They also met another andalite named Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill or Ax for short. He is the brother who gave the kids the power to morph and was killed that day by Visser Three. An evil leader alien yeerk. He was the only yeerk slug to have an andalite controller. He was the Animorphs main enemy! In this book they encounter the Ellimist. He says he can save their lives and a few

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Book
In this book, the Animorphs meet the Elemist and are told the human race is doomed. He offers to bring them and their families to a new planet very much like earth. But will the Animorphs accept the offer...or decline it? In this book Rachel gets he grizzly bear morph

5-0 out of 5 stars Can they make the right choice?
While on a mission attempting to find out more about the Kandroana - the center of the Yeerks' filthy lives - in the hopes that they can locate and destroy it, death seems inevitable for Rachel, the other Animorphs, and Ax. But then a strange and mysteryous beigng called the Ellimist offers them a way out of the war - and shows them what will happen if they decide to back down. While Rachel struggles with personal issues, can the Animorphs make the right choice for Earth when they're not even sure what the right choice is? 153 pages. For sequel see the first Megamorphs book, "The Andallite's Gift."

5-0 out of 5 stars Ellimists.............
Rachel is known as the warrior, right?she's the fierce, battle loving, not afraid of anything type,Right?Well, when Rachel's Dad tells her he's moving to another state, she's mad...How could he just leave??????????Well, then he tells her that he wants her to come with him,she could live with him,and they could do lots of things together, and Rachel could take gymnastics lessons with an Olympic Champion....It's Rachels Dream come true, but what about the Animorphs, the Yeerks, the Andalite???????Rachel has to think about this,I mean,You can't just walk out on your friends and leave the fight, can you?well,Rachel is getting a little stressed out about this,What should she do??????????Well, while all that's happening for rachel, the other Animorphs have found a way back to the Yeerk Pool, and you know what that means.Yep,that's right,a trip to the yeerk pool.....But things don't exactly go as planned(who knew that taxxons liked to eat roaches?),And just as they are about to be Taxxon Food, everything stops....Really,It's just like someone hit the pause button, but forgoy them...As they walk aroud they find Tobias,In HUMAN form, and they're puzzled,What made time stop???????????Then they meet the Ellimist.....He says that they are not going to win the battle with the yeerks,And Ax believes him,You see,Ellimists are like fairytale creatures to Andalites,They are supposed to be all powerful, and they can travel through time.....But anyway,What he tells them is that since he knows that they won't win the fight he offers to take them,a few loved ones, and some animal speices, and relocate them to a planet simular to earth, but they have to decide.
Later,he comes and asks again,Rachel is begining to lose it,Why where all these people asking her al these questions, like come live with me and we can go to ball games,or better yet we have a whole new planet for you!She just can't take it!!!!!!Then to prove his point that they weren't going to defeat the Yeerks the Ellimist zaps them into the future,in a world where Yeerks rule.......... ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A very good companion to the Hork-Bajir Chronicles!
I've read the Hork-Bajir Chronicles before I read this book, and I'm glad that I did because if I didn't I would've given this book four stars.

K.A. is really doing good now. We've got Aldrea, an Andalite who has been long dead but who's persona has been stored, which goes into Cassie and shares her body. I loved the conflict between Aldrea's mind and Ax's character, who don't exactly see eye to eye but manage to go without killing one another. And then there's the sci-fi elements that make this book even better, explaining how the Animorphs are taken to the Hork-Bajir home world to help start a resistance there!

Trust me, this book is good and very touching, especially with the fact that Aldrea lost everyone she cared for and is now being used to help the Hork-Bajir race. Applegate knew what she was doing when she wrote this book(if she wrote it), but despite all of that I'm still a loyal fan and hope that she won't mess up like she did with a couple other books that came before this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Gripping as always!
This book is chock-full of action and never stops to rest. K. A. Applegate has written many Animorph titles and this one seems to be above as some others are as well. It's a must read- it's from Cassie's point of view and is going into the free- Hork- Bajir issue and of course, a prophecy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great, but read the Hork-Bajir chronicles first (I did)
First off, read the Hork-Bajir chronicles first. In this book, the last remaning Arn, the race that created the Hork-Bajir (see, i told you to read the HB chronicles first) lands in the Hork-Bajir colony in a captured Yeerk Bug fighter. He asks for the free Hork-Bajir's DNA so he can start a rebel army against the Yeerks on the Hork-Bajir home world. But Aldrea, daughter of Prince Seerow that delibritly trapped herself in Hork-Bajir morph and married Dak Hamee, a seer. She stole a Yeerk ship loaded with Dracon Beams and hid it, but the only way to recover the weapons is to ask her, and she's dead. The Arn has he persona stored, and she choses Cassie to reside temparily in. They fly to the HB home world. What happens next? Read the book to find out!

5-0 out of 5 stars A pretty good book
This was a pretty good book. First off, before you read this, read the Hork Bajr chronicles. In this book Aldrea returns. At least her mind does. The last remaining Arn comes to Earth, saying he has Aldreas mind. Before ahe died, Aldrea good her profona, or something like that, tooken. Everything she new, thought, felt went into storage. Now she is brought back into Cassies mind and body. They share one body and quest to find hidden Yeerk Weapons. After searching everywhere on the hork bajr homeworld, they finally find them. When they get back to Earth, Aldrea doesn't want to leave. Ax threatens to kill Toby, her grandaughter and seer, and leaves. Confusing? Read the Book. You'll be glad you did.

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay, but the other books are better.
This was an okay book. Others have been a lot better. Not much action and it didn't seem to hold my attention as much. But the idea that Aldrea comes back is cool. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Animorphs, 33 review
This book is about how the Animorphs try to destroy an evil device. Tobias has to acquire A's DNA. The bad thing is, the yeerks thought Tobias was an andelite. They try to make him demorph. There are many main characters, Ax, Rachel, Tobias, Jake, Cassie and Marco. They each have special things about each of the Animorphs. Cassie can morph the fastest. The conflict or problem for the main characters are the yeerks try to take control of the world. They have a device to try to make andelites and humans demorph. This would allow the Animorphs' secrets to be given up. How they resolved their conflict is that when Tobias got captured, his friends saved him. Then they completed the mission and left. That is how they solved the conflict. I would recommend this book to others. This is a good book to read. I didn't want to stop reading.

3-0 out of 5 stars It was pretty good, but it didn't really fit Tobias.
I know that I'm the first person to give this book less than five stars, but I was actually kind of dissapointed by it. Yes, it was Tobias. Yes, Tobias is my favorite character. The first time I read it through, I was like, "Wow! Cool! This was the best!" But it wasn't. First of all, Tobias was a lot more jovial in this book than he usually is. Yes, I'll be forgiving and say it's character development. Then there's the fact that he's openly mushy with Rachel. And I mean openly. What is it with, ?! And KA, or the ghostwriters or whatever stole a part directly out of the book "The Princess Bride"! There was a part in that book when the torturer says, "I'm writing a book on pain. Now, this is for publicity, so be totally honest. How do you feel?" The torturer-ee moans. The torturer says, "Interesting." In the Illusion, Taylor says something like "Our scientists are always interested in feedback. Honestly. What do you think?" Tobias whimpers. Taylor says, "Interesting." You can check, it's true. In my opinion, there were only two parts of the book that were true Tobias-ese. When he's talking to Ax at the end of morphing him. And at the very end, when he says, "I discovered the answer to what I am can't be answered in a single word in a single minute. It might take me a lifetime to figure our who and what I am." Aside from all that, I did think the "visions" of his pat that Tobias had were very interesting and insightful. So K.A., if you ever read this, I'm just saying you did an okay job on this one. Just okay. I was kind of dissapointed. If it wasn't your fault, then yell at me.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST!
In this book, The Animorphs must capture the AMR (anti-morphing ray) and give it to the Chee to hide. The AMR is a device that makes anything that's morphed return to its natraul form. Tobias volenteers, since his natraul form is hawk. He aquires Ax and morphs him and Ax teaches him Andalite tail blade fighting. Tobias loves the Andalite body. He goes into the Yeerk Comuntiy center and is captured by a sub-visser with a host named Taylor (female host). Taylor is volantary. She tortures Tobias. Will Tobias get out of the Yeerk Pool alive, or will he become a Controller or die? Read the book to find out!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Animorphs Book I've Read!
Hey, if I could rate this book seven stars, I would. Seriously. Tobias is my most favorite character, and I like how KA or whoever added parts of Tobias's life before the Animorphs. Sometimes, the Animorph books get a bit, er, BLAH because it just goes on and on about BAM, TSEERR, KABLOOM, and all that battle stuff. This book was so much better! I, for some weird and unexplainable reason, can't stand Jake and Cassie against Tobias and Rachel as "Best Couple". I've been wondering, has Jake and Cassie ever kissed? I don't know; I just know that Rachel and Tobias did. Call me a romance freak, I guess. I know that a person said that Tobias was too mushy and love sick toward Rachel, but come on, what's wrong with a little of that? And I also liked the little "thing" between Tobias and Rachel near the end. Tobias has had a muddy and cruddy life, and Rachel is his what, his light or something? Plus, the torture scenes are so emotional and real that I felt his pain. Tobias's pain, I mean. I was so relieved that his brain wasn't too messed up at the end because I don't want to read about Tobias going insane from torture, or anything. It's a good thing that Taylor went nuts instead of Tobias. Anyway, I've shown enough of how mushy and romance-bitten I am. Let me summarize this for you: Read this book!!!!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars THIS IS THE #1 ANIMORPHS BOOK!
The Yeerks control Jake's brother, Tom. Then Jake finds out that the Yeerks are controlling a hospital and the mayor is going in for surgery. "Hemorrhoids," says Marco. Then, in a fight, Jake falls in the Yeerk pool and a Yeerk gets into his head. Can Marco, Cassie, Rachel, Tobias and Ax stop the Yeerk-controlled hospital? Can they save the human-Controller called Jake? If you want to find out, read "The Capture!" And that is why I rate this Animorphs book a 10. It is the #1 Animorphs book of all time so far!

5-0 out of 5 stars Now he's one of them...
Jake and the other Animorphs discover that the Yeerks plan to invade plenty of humans against their will at the town's hospital. To make things worse, the Yeerks want to invade the state's governor who is planning to run for president! When the Animorphs take a trip to the town's hospital to do some invesitgating, they stumble onto a Yeerk pool...and Jake accidentaley falls into the Yeerk pool.

Now, Jake has a Yeerk in his head and there's nothing he can do about it. The Yeerk knows all his secrets (including the names of the Animorphs) and Jake isn't able to tell his friends anything. Fortunately, the others have figured out Jake's been invaded, and they have a plan to destroy the Yeerk. Unless the Yeerk figures out a way to destroy them all first...

THE CAPTURE is an excellent novel. The beginning started out as one of your average Animorphs books, but then the middle was where the things got intense. It really had me page-turning, and I could've sworn that it would be the end for Jake. The very ending of this book might make you a little sad, but it's something to expect in a book by K.A. Applegate. All in all, this is a very good book to keep you entertained for a while

5-0 out of 5 stars Jake becomes a Controller
In this book, Jake falls into a portable Yeerk pool and Tom's old Yeerk infests him. But will the other Animorphs and Ax find out in time and starve the Yeerk? or will Temarash 114 go to Visser Three and make Ax and the other Animorphs Controllers.

5-0 out of 5 stars Now he's one of them....
In this sixth installment of the popular sci-fi series, when Jake and the Animorphs discover a plot to create Controllers out of hospital paitents, including the govoner - who is planning to run for president in next year's election - they know the Yeerks have to be stopped. While attempting to keep the still-under-construction hospital from opening, Jake falls into a portable Yeerk pool and the unthinkable happens. Now that he's one of them, the Animorphs don't stand a chance against the might of the Yeerk empire and the deadly Visser Three - and neither does Earth. Can Jake defeat the Yeerk in his head before it's too late? 154 pages. A great series for reluctant readers!

5-0 out of 5 stars Reader Over 25
With this story, the characters are already fairly well established by the earlier books, and we've gotten to know them. Now we see Jake, the leader of the group, taken by the enemy and trapped within his own body. As it has been with the other books leading up to this one, you'll find a fairly fast paced and well thought out plot with a great deal of adventure to feed the readers interest. There are animals and a few new morphs, including the less than popular (at first, but very handy) house fly morph. As the Animorphs often put it, turning into a fly is unbelievably gross, but BEING a fly is very cool! About halfway through the story, Jake is infested by a Yeerk, and the deeper threads of the story are subdued (this part is mostly for the parents out there who might be curious) but in the tradition of the other books, it does exist. This story not only gives the enemy a "face" which is well written to make you really detest that Yeerk, but it also focuses on a very important factor common to everyone -- our personal freedom. The threads beneath the story tend to run along the vein of "never give up, even when you may not have a fighting chance, you still don't give up." As an American, myself, the thought of loss of freedom is a terrible thought, yet the loss of it meaning not just your country or government but the control of your own body is appalling. Jake and his friends fight tooth, nail, claw, paw, talon and feather to help him hang on to that very personal freedom. You might say, that in its way, that its also a story of both friendship and comrades in arms on that level. None of this, however, leaves a reader feeling like the somewhat silly cartoons of the 80's where they crammed a moral to the story down your throat at the end of the program. These elements are simply threads, small parts, of a whole which makes the characters believable, and the story entertaining. As always, the main points of the novel are "hold your breath" scenes where you're turning each page in anticipation to see how it will turn out, and plenty of humor along the way. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars cool
in The Sickness, Ax is sick and soon the rest get sick too; all but Cassie. She has to free a yeerk that had started the peace movement and the yeerk has information about the animorphs. Plus, Cassie has to do brain surgery to save Ax and she has to do all of this by herself. It's really good, so I won't spoil the ending for you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Cassie Book Ever!
I ususally don't like Cassie books that much. But this one was fantastic. One of my favorites. At the begining of the story, Ax gets sick while at a school dance with the animorphs. While they are trying to get him home, Cassie finds out from a peace-loving yeerk that the only other yeerk(who also wants peace) who knows their secret is in trouble and will be questioned by Visser Three. The animorphs figure out that they must help, but first they have to figure out what is wrong with Ax. They find out that it is something very serious, and that they will have to operate on him! As in brain surgery! I'm not gonna say anymore, you're just going to have to go read it yourself.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad...
Ax gets sick with a deadly Andalite disease called the Yamphut. He will die unless his Tria gland is taken out... of his head. Meaning brain surgery.
Just to complicate matters, the Yamphut is contagious, and pretty soon all the Animorphs except Cassie are sick, too.
And just to make things really impossible, Visser Three finds out that Aftran has sided with the Animorphs. He wants to torture her until she reveals everything she knows - which would doom the Animorphs.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book
Ax gets a disease that might kill him if not taken care of by surgery. After a while, all the other Animorphs besides Cassie gets it too, but theirs is less deadly. Meanwhile, Cassie has to rescue Aftran, a Yeerk that befriended Cassie. Can Cassie rescue Aftran by herself and still be in time for Ax's surgery?

3-0 out of 5 stars Good ole Cassie, saving the day again
Rather run-of-the-mill, but fine. All the other Animorphs are incapacitated by an alien disease, Cassie has to step in and...you know the drill. Has anyone else noticed the recent trend towards one of the characters being forced to act alone? It's like the author(s) can't imagine them having to work as a team...or it's reminiscent of the mediaeval tradition of trial by combat, in which a warrior's worth (and innocence!) was determined by single testing in battle.

Not a bad addition to the series: in fact, I gave it to one of my sceptic friends to read when we were on Schoolies' Week (for people who've just graduated from high school), and he was surprised by how much he liked it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great book!
This is a good Animorph book. The Animorphs learn
that Marco's old friend, Erek, has been hanging out with
the yeerks. They find out he isn't a controller,
but he isn't human either. Jake, Rachel, Tobias,
Cassie, Marco, and Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill (a.k.a.
Ax) find out that the 'Androids' have been living on
Earth for many years, and are really know as the
Chee. They are peaceful robot-like people and
that Erek has been tricking the yeerks into thinking
he's one of them! To learn more, read 'Animorphs #10, The Android'

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent and fun, Frightening and scary...
I read number 10 in less than a day it was so good. I reread it the next day. If you haven't read it I will tell you, READ IT! It starts when the Animorphs find out that one of Marco's old friends is an android. Which means he is a metal being. His human form is put on by a hologram. They learn MORE aliens were on the planet! The androids told them that they too fought the Yeerks. They had been created by the Pemalites, great aliens. But the entire Pemalite race had been completely wiped out. A VERY long time aga, during the cavemen period. The androids came. Not to interact but to act like anyone else would. After a while their character would "die." Then they would be "born" again as someone else. Well, the androids had been programed by the Pemalites to NOT KILL! But they were so incredibly strong! Marco said that if these guys were fighting with us, we could sqish a few Hork-bajor(Real big, bad Yeerks). But the Pemaltites had programmed them not to, so they couldn't fight, unless... I can't tell you more. This is only the first half of the book. It gets so much better. They find a way that the androids can fight but it requires going through a room that must be in absolute total darkness. You can't touch the ceiling, walls, or floor. Nor can yoou touch the tight string placed only inces apart all around the room. How can they possibly hope to suceed!???? Find out in Animorphs #10 The Alien Book Review by J.J.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best
In this book, Marco and Jake discover an old friend of Marco's named Erik handing out flyers for the Sharing. They discover that he is an android created by the long-dead Pelmites, and though hard-wired for nonviolence, the Chee hate the Yeerks and act as spies for the ANIMORPHS.

4-0 out of 5 stars Reader Over 25
There are several other basic synapsis of this book already written, so I won't rehash it all here. As with all my other reviews (I'm working on the entire series as they get reread) I'm here to offer up a different point of view. If anyone out there is wondering what someone way out of the normal age group sees in these books, then this one is for you.

This book swings back into more suspense and battle format than the last one. The balance is better in that you have Marco narrating it, and his sense of humor leaving the reader laughing, alongside a bit more action overall to go with the emotional threads. As always, there's more to it than a very good, solid, well thought out story which is both entertaining and a "can't put it down" read. Marco has much more to him than meets the eye, and although he's flippant, funny, and sarcastic even in his narration thoughts, he's also smart and quickest of all of them to see the long view. With his family being torn apart by the Yeerks taking his mother as the host body for Visser One, he has to deal with a lot of anger and rage in this book. There's a scene the other reviewers don't touch on (which is fine, that's why I'm doing this, because I'm double the normal age and see things differently). Marco gets Tom on the phone, who is a Controller. The Yeerk in Tom's head tries to sway Marco into bringing his father over into the Sharing, so they might be able to seduce him into being a voluntary host. Exploding, Marco runs red with rage over a short span of this book, finally letting most of it drain off when he morphs the spider for the first time and almost kills a beetle for food. He'd decided that he'd do anything to keep the Yeerks from getting his Dad as well as his Mom, even take down Tom if necessary. Yet, it also stresses that riding that wave of rage is like a drug, it leaves you empty and tired when its over.

There's also an interesting and fun new "species" introduced in this book with the dog-like Chee. The Androids, created as toys by a race so peaceful and playful they knew no hatred or war, could not fight because it was against their programming. After a breathtaking theft on the part of the Animorphs, they manage to get the component needed to allow the Chee to reprogram themselves. There's also something nice in Applegate's writing, because the Animorphs make a serious mistake over something very small at the end of the book, and it turns into a fighting retreat which almost gets them all killed. Erek is able to reprogram himself and save the Animorphs via mass slaughter of the enemies. However, the price of losing their "innocence" is so high, its unacceptable. The Chee can never forget, and lack the human ability to put something behind them. Although many of the younger readers might well miss it, it leaves a residue thought of "what if... every bad thing we've done in our lives was burned right at the forefront of our minds and we had to relive it every single moment?" That was the reason the Chee could not fight, and the price was simply too heavy. Themes like that tend to stick with readers a long time after the story is read, and I think that's what may very well keep Animorphs around to endure into a modern classic some day.

I gave this book a 4 instead of 5 star rating on the basis of believability. I take into account this series is written for an age group of 9-12, but Applegate tends to be good with most of her realism (for Sci-Fi of course). This one stretched it quite a bit with a huge, underground park which had mobs of dogs running around in it. The space was vast, even having a false sun, and a huge amount of dogs running loose in it. That one stretched things a bit, even with the technology available to the Chee, just in maintaining it, feeding all those dogs, general pet care/clean up, and the sheer size of it. A fun idea, but just enough "out there" that it lost a star in my ratings. All in all, however, a very entertaining read and wonderful addition to the series as a whole.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST EVER!!!!!!
In this book, Jake discovers a web site about Yeerks. He shows it to the others and they see the chat room. They decide to pay a visit to Web Access America (not AOL, A reader from U S A). They go to the airport because WAA is too far to fly in bird morph. There they fight over wether to morph flies on a United or Northwest plane (they choose United). Marco eats some shareholder's first class lunch and Jake (?) wonders if there will be an in-flight movie, and Marco (?) says not a movie, the flight's 1 1/2 hours long, more like an in-flight cartoon! Tobias in fly morph is funny. When there in the WAA building, Jake, in tiger morph, Rachael, in Grizzly morph, Cassie, in wolf morph, and Tobias, in his natraul form (hawk), mop the floor. An employee says there crazy, why are they mopping the carpet? Ax and Marco sneak in to the computers (everyones distracted) and find out who MegMom, Fitey777, and Gump (screen names from the chatroom) really are. It turns out Fitey777 is Joe Bob Fenistre is the CEO of WAA. Jake gets a rhino morph and They go to Joe Bob Fenistre's house. I'll leave it at that

5-0 out of 5 stars I found my new Favorite Animorphs book!!!!!!!!!
This book rules!!!!!!!!!!! In a way, It's sorta like #11, in the way that Jake keeps on making irrational decisions. New discovery: yeerks can survive without kandrona rays by becoming a cannibal. Gross, huh? Jake, like Marco and his fear of ant morphs, Cassie and her fear of termite morphs, is now afraid of fly morphs. The chat room part is more confusing that it would be in reality. Oh, yeah, in chapter 6, the grossest thing imaginable happens to Tobias. I'd mention it, but I would completely ruin the book. If ya want to know, e-mail me. If you dare......... Osprey ("v")

5-0 out of 5 stars The Warning
Jake has made an amazing discovery: a web site about the Yeerks. Should the Animorphs investigate? If they do, they might walk right into a trap. And if they don't, they'll never know if they're fighting their enemies alone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Jake in rino kills walls and people go flying
Jake and the gang go on a yeerk web page track down fenstre. the find out the the yeerk in side him is a twin of the yeerk in visser three thats why he ordered his men to shoot a the birds (rachel an Ax in bird morph) because visser three is the only controller that has the morphing abillity

3-0 out of 5 stars It could be better.
The book does not have enough adventure for it to be a good book. It should have fighting against the Yeeks. I think that if there was more adventure, and it had more Controllers it would be alot better. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars One of her most involving books yet!
This was one of KA's most involving books yet! There is only one problem I see with Tobias narratives: The ANIMORPHS don't realise that he could morph human for two hours and then use the box to get his morphing powers back. That is bugging me. I like the book because Tobias discovers something vital at the end; something only those who have read The Andalite Chronicles know. However, maybe a lot of people haven't read that book, so I can't say the ending. One other thing bothers me: Marco is too sarcastic and Rachel too warrior-like to come right out and say that they like each other. I wish they would at least tell each other because its obvious from the way they tease each other but its getting annoying that they won't say it out loud.

5-0 out of 5 stars Info.
Okay. He has just heard a reading of his father's last will and testament. That's how he found out who his father really was: the Andalite Prince Elfangor! Tobias is stuned, but can't show it. Because Visser Three is watching his every move." Also, here's Scholastic's summary: "Blood is thicker than water...A stranger is looking for Tobias. She claims to be his long-lost cousin. Is she telling him the truth? Or is she worse than a liar?" Also, from the Sample Chapter in #22, Tobias visits a lawyer who represents his father's estate. He has a reading that should be read to Tobias on Tobias's next birthday. DeGroot (the lawyer), says"...It's a strange situation." Just one problem-Tobias doesn't know when his birthday is!

5-0 out of 5 stars Exellent!!
In this book a lawyer says he's discovered Tobias's father's last will and testement. Tobias finds out his father is Elfangor! There is also somebody that says that she is Tobias's cousin and she wants to adopt him. Read the book to find out what happens next!

5-0 out of 5 stars A family for Tobias?
Tobias Birthday is coming up and he's been called to an attorney's office to be read his fathers will...And a 'Long-lost' cousin supposedly just came back from Africa and she wants to adopt Tobias.Could it be true?Could Tobias really have a family? If he did,he would have to morph human, and stay that way. become a nothlit again...that would mean dropping out of the fight, No more Yeerks,Morphing,or Animorphs.....Well,he would still have Rachel, and they would BOTH be human.....But can he give up his new life as a hawk?Give up flying?Well, his Birthday is coming closer, and now Tobias is about to learn the Secrets of his past........................

I loved this book, espcially what Tobias learned about his father! When I read I just sat there and was like,Oh my Gosh!!!!!!Then I got the Andalite Cronicles and it kinda explained it.....Hmmmmmm,I wonder if Tobias will ever meet his Mother,Loren????????Anyway,This was definatly one of the best Animorph books,All the Tobias books are! They really show his feelings, and emotions, what its like to know that you will be trapped as a hawk forever, and now his feelings about Elfangor, how important he really was to him......I recomend this book,You'll probally be laughing, crying, and wondering right along with Tobias!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Tobias book ever!!!!
I'm normaly not a big fan of Tobias books, but this is the exception, I recomened it to everyone. Tobias only lives because Visser 3 slips up big time. I was very suprised to find out who Tobias's dad is, and why he was on Earth, I would never have expected an Andalite Prince to run away and hid on Earth. But it dose, in my opinion at least, explain the way Tobias acts when he meets Elfangor, In "The Invasion" ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best ever!
Even now, nearly one year since the dramatic end to this stunning
series, I can still remember this book. I haven't touched it since then, but the story, the action, the ending have all stuck in my mind. The most amazing thing about these books is that as they get older they get more mature. Less emphasis on stupid morality, more emphasis on kill or be killed. In this book, one of the last ones, the yeerks have stopped ...footing around and started mass infestation, via a possessed National Guard group, and a new subway system that leeds right to the Yeerk Pool. The Animorphs know they must finally destroy the pool. So, they break into a normal National Guard base, convince the troops about the invasion, and take several thousand-pound bombs with them. They then comandeer a subway train, load the bombs into it, and head for the pool. They slam into it, escape(after freeing most of the people), and the bombs detonate, destroying half of the city. After that, the Yeerk Mother Ship descends from the sky, and you know that the final battle has just begun. It is a slightly disturbing, upsetting book, but if you've ever wanted an excuse to read Animorphs, this is it!
In closing, I'd like to say that this series is one of the best of all time. Even today, one year from its end, the books are still on bookshelves. So, if you'd like a great sci-fi series, with humor, action, maturity, drama, and great characters, then I can recommend no better one. Animorphs has done to sci-fi books, what Harry Potter did to fantasy books: It took a dying subject and revitalized it. Animorphs 52, The Sacrifice is a plain example of this.

5-0 out of 5 stars The only hope is a horrible sacrifice.....
Ax and the other Animorphs have faced too many risks lately. Ever since they have had to retreat from their ordinary human lives, the war has completely changed. Jake's hope as well as the other Animorphs' have been torn apart, and nothing is at seems anymore. Now the Yeerks are intensifying their once subtle tactics, and they're forcibly making humans submit and be sent down into the subways to the Yeerk Pool. Ax and the others need to match tactics with the Yeerks. Their hopes are low, but if the Yeerks are getting drastic, so must the Animorphs -- if they want to survive, they must. But now they are facing a horrifying decision. They are facing a decision that will forever change the war. They are planning to destroy the Yeerk Pool, resulting in the deaths of thousands of human lives. The choice is a deadly one. Can Ax and the others justify such terrrible actions -- and face the horrible consequence? Now that the fight has changed, and every hope has been shattered from the terrifying revelations to the broken bonds, it may be time to face a new approach -- though it is frighteningly uncertain. Animorphs #52: The Sacrifice is one of the most exciting and dramatically involving books in the Animorphs series that is nearly over with just two more books left. Emotional, intense, and exciting, this was one of the most heart pounding books in the series. With only those two final books left, #52: The Sacrifice is an extremely worthwhile

and delivering read. K.A. Applegate soared into new heights with this amazing addition to the Animorphs series.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great
In this book, humans are being rounded up and boarding subways at gunpoint. There is no doubt that the subways lead to the Yeerk pool, and the Animorphs are considering blowing up the Yeerk pool. Will they blow it up, or will they not? read the book to find out!

4-0 out of 5 stars Setting the stage for the series finale
My son wrote the following mini-review:

In this installment, the National Guard teams up with the Animorphs to help the heroes defeat the Yeerks. They are successful in destroying another Yeerk pool, wiping out millions of the foul parasites. In The Sacrifice, Cassie finally admits to everybody that she is responsible for letting the Yeerks escape with the "blue box" (or "morphing cube" -- see The Ultimate), causing Ax to hate and distrust her.

With only two more installments remaining in the series, K.A. Applegate begins to set the stage for the death of one of the six key characters. Will it be Tobias, Rachel, Cassie, Jake, Marco, or Ax?

5-0 out of 5 stars Will attract any ex-Animorphs fan!
I, among many others, stopped reading the series after book 31 when I got fed up with it - nothing at all was happening and the violence was getting to be a bit much. However, after reading the cover copy and a bit inside of this one, I decided it might be worth it and got it. Sure enough, I was very pleased that K.A. Applegate had gotten back to her old style of writing this good series, so it received a place on my shelf and a good review on the Internet. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very excellent and well thought-out.
It had to be probably one of the best Megamorphs yet. It certainly kept my interest going. It brought back the Time Matrix from The Andalite Chronicles and because of that the Animorphs were sent through time! I really felt sorry for Jake for what happened to him, and I loved it when Rachel and Tobias (sorry, but you have got to read it to find out). The story started out confusing, but later on it explains itself and then the true excitment begins. I also liked that the story goes through many different time periods, which really taught me a thing or two. It was good that the book could be educational, because now parents can't tell their kids that reading these types of books are bad and that they shouldn't read them anymore. I just hope that the series has more surprises in the future as it did in here.

5-0 out of 5 stars This book is Awsome!
Here is the Animorphs Web Page's Summary:

It's a battle across time.

Someone has found the Time Matrix. Unfortunately, he is a human-Controller named Henry. Even worse, until a recent demotion, Henry was known as Visser Four.

With the Time Matrix, Henry has his big change to regain power: He'll alter history and win Earth for the Yeerks. Not knowing too much about human history, Henry lands in the middle of what humans refer to as "World War II." With the Ellimist's help, the Animorphs must travel back in time to stop Henry before it's too late. But in the process, an Animorph must die...

This book is supposed to be awsome. I suspect that K. A. did a good job on this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Animorphs book by far.
This is THE best Animorphs book by a long way. At first it was a little weird with melissa in the group and jake insisting on being called "supreme leader" and other weird things. Its about a controller named Henry, who used to be visser 4 but got demoted. He finds the Time Matrix and uses it to go back to important scenes and battles in earths history e.g. American War of Independece and D-Day. He then changes tries to change the outcomes of these battles so that the humans become a weaker species and easier to conquer. The ellimist and the Drode strike a truce in their war against each other to make the animorphs go to whatever time and place former visser 4 goes to stop him messing up the timeline. But the Drode wants something in return.

This is an AWESOME book and is a must buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars An excellent ADVENTURE
Elfangor's secret was a very great one that no one knew about. But, somehow Visser Four stumbles upon it and starts to change history so that the Yeerks could win the war with humans. The world is changing, Rachel doesn't even exist. Jake is a tyrant Marco is this [messed] up kid. Then Crayak will offer the original Animoprhs a trail on Visser Four and in return he will take one of their lives. This is definitely on of the best Animorphs books and anyone should read it.

5-0 out of 5 stars THIS BOOK ROCKS THE HOUSE!

5-0 out of 5 stars Loss of humour justified...
I don't agree that Applegate should be criticised for making Marco more serious here. Consider the situation (if you can't remember read the recap in the first chapter of each book!): everyone is now an utter mess psychologically. Hence the loss of humour. Plus the point, in terms of character development, of the Marco books is to show us that there's more than just his facade of jocularity. To be a 'rounded' character, he needs to be able to explain himself, to be dark, to have flaws. Et voila, we have this book.

Personally I thought this was one of the best since about #29: plot AND character advancement, as well as an interesting premise. Plus the truncated, disjointed sentences seemed to be a little in abeyance. Even the obligatory pop-culture references (Hanson, take a bow) are better executed than of late. It really affected me emotionally (sob)...

4-0 out of 5 stars Marco has been cheated of the humor he deserves....
Okay, I liked the book because it would connect into "Visser" later on, but on a whole it's just a story that drags on about "Oh, my Dad's going to get remarried and I can't morph right because of it!"

Applegate knows very well that Marco is the comic relief of the Animorphs, but she (or one of those other writers she acknowledges at the start of the book) decides to keep it quite and have the Animorphs investigate this one TV personality who is trying to recruit for The Sharing. It was just like #31 The Conspiracy:they don't get anywhere and nothing really changes no matter what they try. However, the scene with Hanson and the bugs on the food in the hotel is funny, and when Marco is attacked in the hotel kitchen. Still, no matter what happens the fans know that Marco's mom is still alive, or else "Visser" wouldn't be coming out, and that just spoils the anticipation of wondering if Visser One is still around. It's just too predictable.

1-0 out of 5 stars Please, KA...
I have been reading the animorphs series since the first book, and ill ive seen is the whole series becomeing worse and worse. Each book is an exact copy of the last, with minor details changed, but basically the same plot. The series is becoming so boring. Animorphs is becoming like what became of series like Goosebumps and The Baby sitters club. Soon KA has to realize that Animorphs is only going downhill and if she doesn't end it soon, shes going to lose a lot of fans.

5-0 out of 5 stars Like, totally cool
i luv this book cause of the plot. There's this guy named William Roger Tennant and he's kinda like Richard Simmons. Exept on his show he surounded by lava lamps listening to callers and telling them about the sharing. So they try to stop him. This book is mostly a comedy. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Nothing like #30!
I don't understand most people who have reviewed this book! THey might sound a little similar, but #30 and this one are nothing alike! This book was really intresting and moving. I liked it because it didn't have really big and boring battles, and was much more subtle and undercover. I thought the animorphs thought of some really intresting plots in this one, instead of just doing the same old thing. Jake's grandpa's death was woven into the story, with comparisons between the battles that his granpa was in and the battle Jake's fighting now, instead of just being there to make the plot work. This was one of the best animorph books ever and definitly the best Jake book ever.

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay, this plot is getting really REPETITIVE
Okay, this is one of KA's bad books. Number 30 was worse, and it's not hard to get much worse than this. Jake's having a hard time being a leader. In the book he talks about his Grandpa G, who has recently died, and how they're going to his funeral for 3-4 days. Tom, being a controller, protests.

This book is about the risks Jake takes to protect his family--balancing his life while protecting his father. The book is kinda shaky--some parts are clear, understandable, and some are plain gibberish. But the book is okay.

4-0 out of 5 stars Jake has family problems
In this book, Jake's grandfather died. Jake's whole family must go to their grandfather's house for the fueneral, and for four days! Tom's Yeerk can't let that happen, so he invites his dad to come to the Sharing. Jake morphs falcon and Marco morphs gorilla and Marco sets of Jakes dad's car alarm. Jake's dad comes running out so his car won't be stolen, and so he isn't infested. With much grumbling about their being a very important Sharing meeting on Saturday, Tom says yes. When they get there, Tom and Jake discover a box that belonged to their grandfather and in it are papers and a knife. Jake knows that Tom will try to murder his dad. Read the book to find out what happens next!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Conspiracy

2-0 out of 5 stars What the?
You know the worst thing about Animorphs being ghostwritten? The fact that K.A. has basically abandoned the series to work on Everworld, which is quite possibly the worst YA fiction I've ever read. The tone, the outdated premise, the fact that all of the characters basically parallel the Animorphs...It's like Joss Whedon deserting 'Buffy' in the fourth season to devote more time to 'Angel', a dog if ever I saw one.

(Relevance comes back from the shops and glares at me from the doorway).

Annnnyway...#31 is very similar superficially to #30, which is one of those "never should have been written" ones. There's the hoary "my family's involved but I'm trying to stay rational" plotline, which works fine under other circumstances (see "The Proposal" or "The Revelation"), but is just boring here. There's the utter lack of results at the end; perhaps a more realistic option, reflecting the powerlessness of adolescents today. But hasn't the whole series been dedicated to proving that kids CAN make a difference? That merely handing over a problem to adults isn't necessarily the best solution?

Backpedalling aside, #31 attempts to explore issues such as loyalty, war and truth (earning my two stars). However the overall impact of these themes is rendered almost negligable by the negative, weak conclusion of the book. So, like #30, this book is largely filler in the series, and makes no significant contribution to either plot or thematic exposition. Very frustrating. Save your money for some of the better ones. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Whoa! Awesom job, K.A.!
I hail to thee, K.A.! Fellow anifans, READ THIS BOOKIMMEDIATELY! Come one, that's right, click the button! Click on thebutton that says, "Add to shopping cart". You'll find it well worth it, and here's why.

First of all, I'll just give my version of the summary. ::drumroll: Here it is:

What if? What if the Animorphs had never went through the construction? Never met Elfangor? Never got the morphing power? Never known of the evil, that is, and still is out there? After a horrific battle, the Drode offers Jake the chance to undo it all. Make it never happen. Jake finally weakens. He accepts. Yeah, so maybe they never met Elfangor. And maybe they never got the morphing power. But that doesn't mean that the Yeerks still aren't changing there lives. You'll discover something about Cassie that makes it all make sense. You'll love the ending and suddenly get how it all fits. You'll love this book, and make it right up there with #19 and #33.

So maybe my summary isn't the greatest in the world, but hopefully it helped you know more about the book. And a few more things. Yes, there's a little thing with Rachel and Marco, though nothing big. The cover is simply amazing, and you'll gawk at it for ages. One thing that I didn't like, it should have been much longer. She should have stretched the plot longer, perhaps make the ending better. Other than that, I sincerely reccommend this book to any anifan at all. It's one of my favorite books, and in one word, it's amazing.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Animorphs Book Yet!
This is the best Animorphs book yet! The cover is awesome too. This book is a must have. If you want to find out about a little about the book here read this:

What would you do if you had the opportunity to change your life? Not just where you live or who you hang out with, but your past, present, and future? Sounds like it might be pretty cool, right? Well, that's what Jake thought. He thought it might be easier if the Animorphs had never existed. If they'd never met Elfangor. If they all had the chance to be "normal" kids. Jake gets his wish.

But things aren't quite as simple as they seem. Just because the Animorphs no longer exist doesn't mean the Yeerks no longer exist. Except now Jake, Rachel, Tobias, Cassie, and Marco can't morph. They don't even know the Yeerks are out there. And it's not such a wonderful life...

If you want to know more... buy it! This is the best book from Megamorphs!

3-0 out of 5 stars And then there were five...
I wonder why Aximilli wasn't on the cover... I haven't read this book in many months, to be honest. I was an Animorph fan from till the series ended a year ago with book 54, the Beginning. I did not love this book. I personally didn't find the concept of Jake giving in to Crayak conceivable.

To summarize, yeerks are parisitic aliens that control humans, and the Animorphs are 5 kids with the technology to morph into animals, which they use to fight a guerilla war against the yeerks. In this book an Animorph is given the option of changing history so that his friends and him could would never gain the responsibility of saving the human race. Unfortunately the consequences are disasterous. We see the tragic fate of each Animorph, which is sometimes entertaining, and enlightening. Overall this book is too fast-paced for its own good. Regardless, if you are an Animorph fan it is definitely worth reading.

5-0 out of 5 stars Back to Before, One of the best megamorphs
Back to Before tells about what would have happened to the Animorphs if they never walked through the construction site. This is good and bad for the Animorphs, because they can live their lives not having to worry about the yeerks, but the yeerks are still on Earth and now the Animorphs have no power to stop the yeerks. This book also shows what
