5-0 out of 5 stars A great and must read book!
I have all the BSC Friends Forever books, including this one. But this book is my favorite! That's how good the book is! I love how all the characters in the BSC Friends Forever Series have all dealed with realistic situations! A great job you're doing, Ms. Martin, and keep up the great work!

Could Stacey's life get any crazier? Not one, not two, but five of her ex-boyfriends are converging on Stoneybrook over one weekend. From Toby, a long-ago summer boyfriend, to Ethan, her most recent older-boy ex--Stacey's going to have to do a lot of boy-juggling. And then there's Stacey's current boyfriend, Jeremy, who Stacey suspects is really in love with Claudia. What's a girl to do? Read this book to find out! Trust me, you'll love this book!

5-0 out of 5 stars Stacey's love life gets a bit crazier....
Okay- here's a summary of the book...

Stacey is going out with Jeremy, the boy she and Claudia had a fight over (he likes Stacey, but lately Stacey starts thinking that he secretly loves Claudia instead). Claudia and Stacey SORT-OF make up about "the fight" and start talking again. Stacey learns that her favorite math teacher ever, Mr. Zizmore, is moving away to Houston, Texas. She decides to throw a going away party with some of his students and teachers at SMS.

Here's where it gets REALLY interesting... at this party, Toby (the guy Stacey met at Sea City and kissed, which was her first kiss ever), Sam (Kristy's brother that goes to high school that Stacey went out with for awhile), Pete (another boyfriend), Robert (the boyfriend that Stacey had before Ethan and turned really needy all of a sudden), Wes (Stacey's huge student-teacher crush-ee), Ethan (Stacey's most current ex-boyfriend that is fifteen and lives in New York), and Jeremy (Stacey's current boyfriend) ALL ARE THERE.

Okay, so the plot is completely crazy (what thirteen year old girl has accumulated that many boyfriends?) and all are appearing after long absences on that one particular Saturday, but all in all it's a fun book!

5-0 out of 5 stars Friends BSC Forever:Stacey and The Boyfriend trap(#6)
This is by far the best book ever! All of Stacey's ex-boyfriends are back. How well will she handle the BFT( BoyFriend Trap).Way to go Ms.Martin.
P.S: I OWN all of the "Friends BSC Forever" books!

    Lots of Love,
    Fulliem Quach xoxoxoxo

    2-0 out of 5 stars Stacey+ Too Many Guys= A Bad Book!
I didn't find this book interesting because all it talks about is Stacey and guys. This series never even talks about the Baby-Sitters Club anymore.I didn't get my moneys worth. In the story, Stacey's ex- boyfriends all come to see Stacey in Stoneybrook. The five of them all colide at this big party. It's the most dullest book I've read in my life. I agree with the person below me. DON'T READ THIS BOOK!

3-0 out of 5 stars Too Many Boyfriends
I guess I liked the book, but I don't like how Stacey is totally obsessed with boys. I mean, 5 ex-boyfriends at the age of 13?? Thats not normal for a person that age! I also think Stacey is a little to obsessed with shopping. The author should get Stacey a better head on her shoulders and not keep having a different boyfriend in every different book! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A must have BSC book for: all the BSC fans!
This is the Coolest-of-the Coolest,of all the BSC books.
I REALLY recommended for all the BSC fans all around the world!
I've been a BSC fan myself since 1997.Even though the series is
over since 2000.I am and will always be a BSC fan forever,in
my heart and soul.I have 75 books in my collection.I also read
"The Baby-Sitters club" series in French languache.I'm 16 yrs.
    old noww(Still a BSC fan).Neway,"Friends BSC Forever:Graduation
Day" book is still(and will always be)my most fave BSC book.
And it makes a GREAT gift for someone who is about to be
Graduates.I am also a big fan of Ann M. Martin.
Long live the Baby-Sitters club!!!(178 stars for that book)

5-0 out of 5 stars Graduation, an end of an era
I think that this is the best BSC book ever. I have been reading these books since I was a little girl. I am now in college, but I often check out the new BSC books to keep up on what is happening. I was so sad to read that the series was finally ending. The book was a very lovely good-bye for all of us BSC fans. It is definitely the end of an era, as I read the book I realized I was saying good-bye to my childhood. I had always wondered if Ann M. Martin would ever let them move on to High School. I was kind of hoping she would write about them in High School. I do, however, think it best that she has not, it makes Graduation that much more special.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is the end...
This is the last book in the Baby-sitters club series, and also one of the best. The baby-sitters are moving onto high school, after fifteen years in the seventh and eighth grades. So much has happened (they talk about a little of it in the book) and they also talk about how they feel about moving on to the new step... and, unfortunately, we won't be there to witness them.

But (and at the end it says this) they won't be best friends forever... they'll just be friends. And I personally don't want to see the end of the friendship...

The book is emotional, touching, and funny, and I'm not going to say anything else because you just have to read it for yourself. So much is mentioned, and a lot of stuff you have to find out as you read... this is probably in my top ten books of all time.

4-0 out of 5 stars A must have for any BSC fan
I'm nearly 21 years old,but I just had to have this book. The Baby-Sitters Club series were the first books I ever read, and if you are a true BSC fan, this book is a necessity. It can be a little confusing if you haven't kept up- why are Claudia and Stacey uncomfortable and distrustful of each other? - but it is an otherwise lovely conclusion to the beloved series.

4-0 out of 5 stars Childhood Memories: Ending Gracefully
Wow, I can't believe even though I stopped reading the series in the start of highschool (I myself am almost finished with college). I have read a good handful of the series that I love. However, as I'm trying to get all the copies for my collection, this is a sad book to me it seems but a good one.
I think AMM did a wonderful thing ending the series where it had. I don't know if I could see them moving onto highschool with more changes even though it would have been interesting to see the characters grow.
It's interesting, sad, and nice to see the club change so much but going back to the original four members. You share a lot of memories and remember them along with all the club members. You see how everything has changed with the characters through out the series and matured and grew up. And it's nice that it happened with these girls and the series in general since a lot of the times the characters seem to always stay young and not end.
But you get a lot of memories from all of the old and new members, and even the kids they sit for. And it ends gracefully with Kristy who was the one who started the club that we all know and love.
In the end of the book you see a wonderful note and thank you put together by AMM and what the series went through the many years and how it expanded.
I think everyone will love this book. But if your a long time fan you might need a kleenex. But also have fun in reliving all their memories. I wish there was more that they could have covered but it was a nice way to end the series. With all of them returning in the end.
I will always treasure the series and even share them with one day if and when I have my own kids. But enjoy this book. I most certainly have and the series. It will be missed. It will be interesting to see maybe if AMM does a reunion of the series. I would love it if she did. :) ... Read more

    5-0 out of 5 stars ~It's Claud vs.Stace!~
This was a cool book. It showed that not all friendships last forever and the plot was VERY realistic.

Stacey and Claudia are involved in a friendship feud over the new guy in school Jeremy. Claudia was sure they would have been going out by now....if only Stacey hadn't gotten in the way and stolen him! I feel pretty sorry for Claudia. Stacey's been pretty nasty to her these days, and she blew me away when she said a remark to Claudia that made my jaw drop! Ouch! (I won't tell you the remark or that would spoil the book)

I love how these are much more real then...oh say...the Baby-sitters' Club? Great job on the new series Ann M. Martin! I'm counting the days until Friends Forever #5!

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT!
These books are just the bomb Ann! You've really hit the mark with this new series! I'm actually kind of glad Claudia and Stacey are in a Friendship Feud. At least it shows that these girls are starting to get real! (as are the others) These books are deafnitly more realsitic then the Baby-sitters' Club. I have Friends Forever #5 too, and Maggie, Diary Three! Just keep coming with the wonderful books you create! This is my favorite book! FRIENDS FOREVER AND CALIFORNIA DIARIES ROCKS!

5-0 out of 5 stars Friends Forever rocks!
This was the first Friends Forever book I've read, and I liked this really much! This books was more realistic than the BSC series (and definitely more realistic than the Super Special series) and so good!!! I like that Claudia's got a new friend, Erica.I also like the other baby-sitters got new friends outside the club (Claudia and Erica, Stacey and Rachel, ect.) But I didn't like that Claud & Stace are fighting over a boy. I think Jeremy is better for Stacey, but I'm in Claudia's side at the Friendship Feud.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another Great Book in the Friends Forever Series!
In this book (number 4), you see the huge fight with Claudia and Stacey in Claudia's point of view (just so you know- if you aggreed with Stacey in book #2, you'll probably change your opinion).

Claudia gets a new friend- her name is Erica. (In the last book, Stacey became friends with Claudia's old enemy, Rachel.) Stacey also gets WAY more over-protective with Jeremy when he starts hanging out with Claudia more. Mary Anne is still kind of sad about breaking up with Logan, especially when she sees him noticing other girls.

My thoughts on this book: I thought it was great! I'd read the Stacey version of "the fight" earlier, and it makes you see "the fight" in a totally different perspective. As always, the book was fun to read, well-written, and kept true to Claudia-the-character... though Stacey DID seem to be quite a bit more mean than usual. All in all- a great book!

5-0 out of 5 stars The friendship feud goes on
All right, this is how it goes. Stacey stole Jeremy and I have to say I despise her for it. Claudia saw and met him first. Also, I can't believe Stacey would want to make an attempt to apologize to Claudia and then say, ''Okay, Claudia, I will not allow you to get anywhere near Jeremy." What right does she have to say that! Claudia can choose her own friends, but obviously Stacey can't see that! The book was good, except now I know I am on Claudia's side in the friendship feud. I'm glad Claudia is friends with Erica now, too. Erica is much, much, MUCH cooler than Stacey. If you want to find out more, read "Claudia and the Friendship Feud." That book is awesome, and I'm sure #5: Kristy Power! will be just as awesome! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars it was ok thats all
i have to admit the author did a good job of writing it,but ive read better books.mary anne is nice but i wish shed just get over logan.in the other books he ,like , ran her life.i think it was a good idea to bring sunny & MA together in 1 book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Mary Anne's still the same loveable person!
I liked how Ann brought Sunny & Mary Anne together! And yes, Mary Anne is getting new plots (NOT a new boyfriend, which is good). Her heart has just about healed from Logan;I'm glad Ann didn't latch her onto another boyfriend like so many other series would have done. I liked that she joined the yearbook in a previous book & she's doing more things. It's so heartwarming that her house has been re-built & she & her family move back in. I loved the descriptions; I felt as if I were right there with Mary Anne & my heart just warmed for her. She's been through so much pain & suffering in her life & it's good that she's happier now & at peace. She deserves peace & happiness; she's such a good, courageous person! I liked how she sensed that Sunny was still hurting from losing her mom, even though Sunny was hiding her pain under a facade of cheerfulness & she comforted Sunny, even when Dawn got mad at Sunny. It was funny how when the girls snuck off to New York City, Mary Anne felt so guilty. I was sooo sure that she was going to break down & fess up! I'm surprised that she didn't. The ending was gave such a sense of peace & closure & I'm glad that Mary Anne's feeling peaceful these days.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great! Buy it now!
I TOTALLY recommend this book for people that like Sunny, Dawn, and the rest of the BSC friends Forever series. in thsi book, Mary Anne has finally moved in to her new house, and Dawn is coming to Stoneybrook with Sunny, the best friend of Dawn's that's mother died from Lung cancer. Again, read this book. It's touching, and finally, u get a picture of Dawn and Sunny! (LoL!)

3-0 out of 5 stars It was OK, but I've read so much better
OK, this book was ok, i guess. I think it focused on Sunny and Dawn too much. I think that MA needs some new hobbies, etc. to make her books more interesting! My fave books out of this series are the ones on Stacey and Claudia 'cuz they're the only ones that seem real enough to me! I think that Ann Martin needs to make MA seem more interesting; such as getting a new BOYFRIEND cuz Logan is such a bad boyfriend. the most interesting book on Mary Anne is Mary Anne's Revenge. but after that it's this one. Mary Annes big Breakup was a bad book. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I Loved Abby Being in This Book!
I was really excited when I saw this book because Abby was FINALLY in one of the FF books. I also want to know whats up with Jessi?

Anyways, Kristy and Abby are on the debate team and are traveling to Washington D.C. for a competition. They are both signed up in the beginner level and Kristy gets assigned to a team with someone name Kai and David. Kristy tells David that he looks exactly like Terry Hoyt, and he acts all nervous... Then David disappears...........

5-0 out of 5 stars A book that will keep you reading and reading!
This book was humongously good. In fact, I think this is the best Kristy book so far in the BSC Friends Forever series. A great job you're doing, Ms. Martin, and keep up the good work!

When Kristy and her friends went down to Washington, D.C., on a school trip, they expected to see some famous sites. But they never imagined they would be caught up in a big and dangerous mystery involving secret identities, dark revenge, and a suprise kidnapping attempt. Kristy is one of the only witnesses who could put the kidnapper behind bars. Can she stop him in time? Read this book and find out!

4-0 out of 5 stars Kristy's in terrible danger...
In "Kristy and the Kidnapper", Kristy encounters a dangerous situation while on a school debate trip in D.C. One of her classmates nearly gets upducted, and Kristy is the only witness...

I enjoyed this book although I like the more down to earth Friends Forever storylines better. This one was a bit much, but I did enjoy the change of pace...none of the other Friends Forever teens were in the story. Their names are only mentioned once or twice, and that was refreshing and different.

Overall this book was all right, but it isn't as great as the previous books in the series. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Mary Anne comes out of her shell...
This is book number eight in the series.

In this installment, Mary Anne, Cokie, and some other people are on the yearbook commitee at school. The school nominated categories are being updated this year- so in addition to all the categories like best dressed and most likely to succeed, they have other categories like Most Artistic and Most Likely to Be Seen in Hollywood. Cokie, unfortunately, sabotages the votes so that she and her friends will get all the categories to themselves. Mary Anne and Abby figure this out, though, and go to the vice-principal to get a recount.

Cokie, furious (as always), spreads a rumor around the school that Mary Anne begged Logan to take her back, sending him e-mail messages and hundreds of messages on his answering machines. Logan, reportedly, had said 'no, there is another girl, and I don't like you any more'. This isn't true, and Mary Anne and the BSC get Cary Retlin to help them think up a way to pay her back just in time for the huge party that Cokie's throwing.

Mary Anne's dad grounds Mary Anne just before the party, so Mary Anne sneaks out and arrives there, where she tells the truth to Cokie once and for all- that Cokie's a brat that no one likes and that even though she thinks that telling lies about other people will make her seem cool, they don't.

Mary Anne finally gets over her nightmares, and learns that her dad had recently been experiencing the same flashbacks to the night of the fire.

A good book, and a lot more serious and realistic than the original BSC series.

5-0 out of 5 stars good job mary anne
I LOVE THIS BOOK ! I love how Mary Anne stands up for herself in this book and I like the "new" Mary Anne she doesn't jump into a fight but she doesn't cry she stand up for herself I liked the Logan-Mary Anne-couple but it was the best for them both but if Logan can't treat her right as a girlfriend I hope they can be friends and I hope Mary Anne finds the right guy soon! I love the BSC friends forever series it's more realistic and I hope to see more soon! by the way Mary Anne is my favorit charaster! *KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK*

4-0 out of 5 stars Sweet Revenge
Here's the deal. MaryAnne, as you know, has broken up with Logan. Cokie is still after Logan, and she's also still attacking MaryAnne (you know what I mean).

Both MaryAnne and Cokie are on the yearbook team, or whatever you call it (I read this a few days ago). Cokie is in charge, and she's most enthusiastic about the parts like "Most sporty", "Most likely to be seen in Beverly Hills", etc. Cokie is convinced that she fits in most of this categories, and is being mean to MaryAnne, spreading rumours and everything.

MaryAnne teams up (sort of) with Cary Retlin to get her revenge on Cokie. But in the end...
It really is Sweet Revenge. Read it and find out. The Real New MaryAnne is much better than the Old MaryAnne or the Not Good New MaryAnne. Hope you liked this review.Br

5-0 out of 5 stars Yo go girl!
By far this is the best book in the bscff series. Mary Annedefinately proved she not just meek shy girl always behind someone todefend her. This time that punk Cokie finally was cut down to size, by Mary Anne. First Cokie made fun her by her big breakup with Logan, then lied about Logan saying that she begged him to get back with him. Also said he going with another girl{which was true}, then she sabotaged the yearbook ballots! . That's when Mary Anne did her own scheming as well, along with the BSC's rival, Cary.In this book you could see Mary Anne try on new attitudes and maturing from the old quiet Mary Anne! She even snuck out of her house! Now that's major improvement! Also in this book Mary Anne and her parents settled long overdue conflicts.Mary Anne has proven herself to Logan, BSC, Cokie, the whole school,... and herself that she is here and here to stay!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Book
I have always loved the books on Mary Ann. I am, like Mary Ann, also very shy and sensitive. After reading this book I walked away feeling braver and stronger. I love the new Mary Ann because she is not only her caring old self but also a new more confident person. This book is really an insperation. It also shows you that when you belive in yourself, with a little help from your friends, you can do anything. This book is a true treasure. ... Read more

    5-0 out of 5 stars gr8 book!
i believe that this book is the best one in the series, for finally there are some new, and IMPROVED changes. I think that this books changes were good. such as Stacey's mom getting a new job, Staceys dad getting married (as a matter of fact, i was glad that Stacey didn't get mad at her dad, as dawn did in previous books, u know?) so just read it cuz it's really good and if ure a Stacey lover this is a MUST READ!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Addition to the Series
I really liked this book in the series. It dealed with someimportant issues that people have to deal with everyday. It'll keepyou reading unitl the suprising end.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best yet!
This book was really good. I liked the way how Ann M. Martin didn't focus really much to baby-sitting and how she created some human problems. A great job you're doing, Ann, and keep up the good work!

Stacey's dad is getting remarried to his girlfriend, Samantha. It was a bit of a shock for Stacey, but she was really pleased. After all, Samantha was nice, caring, and pretty. But her mother, on the other hand, was shocked and devastated by the news. Meanwhile, Mallory comes back and she realizes things have changed. 5-0 out of 5 stars What Stace did was just plain WRONG !!!!!!!
Poor Claudia! I really feel sorry for her! Her best friend is trash!!!!!!

In Friends Forever #2, Stacey instently (as usual) falls in love with the new guy in school. At first, Stacey thinks Jeremy would be wonderful for Claudia but when Jeremy isn't interested in her Stacey moves in.......

UGH! In the BSC series Stacey seemed a little guy crazy but always sweet and caring. In the Friends Forever books however, Stacey's nothing but a shallow self-centered brat who only cares about herself! Claudia has every right to be mad at her!!!!!!

I LOVE THESE BOOKS! I CAN'T WAIT TO READ #3! THANKS SO MUCH ANN!

4-0 out of 5 stars This is a must-read for the Friends Forever series
This book is the book in the Friends Forever series where Claudia and Stacey get into a huge fight over the same guy, Jeremy, who is new in school. This is important, because up til the end of the series they're still fighting and their friendship is never the same again.

I know- you'd never expect them to get into a fight over THAT, and that's the reason why I'm giving it a four. The book is well-written, but the REASON for the fight is terrible. Why end a friendship over a guy that you've only known for a couple of days? Anyway...

This is in Stacey's point of view (you can see Claudia's in book number 4). This is also where Stacey meets Rachel, who becomes a really good friend but the other baby-sitters can't stand her. Stacey breaks up with Ethan, and things hit ANOTHER turning point in the BSC.

All in all, a pretty exciting book!

5-0 out of 5 stars A must read book!
This book is one of the best books in the BSC Friends Forever Series! It is one of my favorites so far! Keep up the good work, Ms. Martin!

Claudia and Stacey have fallen for the same boy! Jeremy is cute, sensitive, and available. At first, Stacey thinks he'd be perfect for Claudia. But when he says he's not interested, Stacey realizes he's perfect...for her. Claudia disagrees. She thinks she really had a chance with Jeremy...until Stacey came along. Let the friendship feud begin!

2-0 out of 5 stars Stacey is such a brat
Most people are saying that Claudia is shallow, a loser or whatever, but I really hated how Stacey acted in this book. I thought she was so immature and I didn't like how she thought she was better then Claudia in any way, because she isn't. Anyway, I hope that Jeremy will open his eyes and see what a brat Stacey is and fast. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars As real as California Diaries! I couldn't believe it!!!!!!
This book (and #2 as well) is as real as the CD books! I honestly was shocked! I was a former BSC fan, but outgrew the books and was looking for something more mature. I've read California Diaries since they arrived in bookstores in 1997, but I have to admit, I missed reading about the BSC members and was wishfully thinking that there would be a mature series on them.

I got my wish! "Friends Forever" hardly foucuses on baby-sitting at all. Instead this book was about remeeting Kristy's long lost father. It shows that the chariters have grown up and are dealing with real life! I enjoyed Friends Forever #1 very much! Keep up the good work Ann M. Martin!

5-0 out of 5 stars Kristy grows up.....
I was really glad to see a change in Kristy in Friends Forever #1. While she IS a tomboy (so am I in fact) she should realize that IT IS OKAY to take care into your apperence.

The wedding was just wonderful. Personally, I think it's good for Kristy to have a stepmother like Zoey. She can care about her apperence, yet she still seems tough.

You don't see Kristy as an immature person as I kind of struck her in the old series. She takes charge in some parts of the book, yet she doesn't go overboard and get nasty and bossy.

Great job Ann! I think this new side of Kristy Thomas is terrific! I'll surely buy more of the books!

Kristy is your favorite baby-sitter,I recomend
this for you.Keep up the work Ann Martin!

1-0 out of 5 stars Very dull
I was expecting a much better series. Instead it was a book filled with nothing but Kristy. Which included a very dull story line too. Halfway through the book, I started skimming the rest quickly because I got so bored with the story.

I loved the old books - especially how every member was mentioned at least once. I don't like how each book only focuses on one or two members. Plus these new ones seem really shallow and poorly written.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good book
This was a pretty good book but I somtimes found it hard to concentrate on the plot. Kristy hasn't seen her Dad for along time so when he phones from california to say that he is getting married to a woman named Zoey and he wants Kristy, Charlie and Sam to fly out to California to be part of his wedding Kristy is shocked. At first when Kristy arrives in California and meets her dad (Patrick) and his soon to be wife she dosn't know what to say to either of them. Over the time that Kristy spends in California she becomes pretty good friends with Zoey and eventually decides that even though her father left when she was little she should give him another chance at being a father. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Kristy
Kristy and MAry Anne are my favorite characters, i haven't read this book but i read a review about how these books are no good i love them but i can't seem to find them anywhere i do wish the BSC would have a High School series they've been in 8th grade for over 10 yrs!

3-0 out of 5 stars Please shape up!
OK. When the Babysitter's Club series ended, I was upset, but then I thought, "Well, there's a new series with them and it's bound to be just as spectactular as the first." Well, after a about 5 books I stopped reading them. First of all, there was no plot. Second of all, I am sick of reading about how Mary Anne is mourning over her boyfriend. Third, I am so SICK of the fight between Stacey and Claudia. (Or did that end already???) I haven't read the book, but I'm sure it's just as bad as the others. I am a loyal fan of the babysitter's club. I have read all #131 books. But, no offense, Ann Martin, this series REALLY ...! I just stopped reading them becase I couldn't face the pain of seeing how all the characters have changed and Mary Anne's depressed (I HATE reading about depressed people) Kristy's all...like, wierd, and Claudia and Stacey are being the most stubborn people alive. I really liked how in the other series, Ann would divert the babysitter's problem with the babysitees problems. The other series was SOOOOOOOOO much better. It actually had apoint. They were a good business. This one is just flopping all over the place with no POINT WHATSOEVER! I want the series to shape up but i think it's a little too late for that.

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay, but not great
This book was okay. It talks about how Claudia starts going out with Alan Gray, this guy that the BSC doesn't like. The main drama in the book is that Kristy doesn't like him and tries to make him miserable. The book makes her look like a real snob, which is strange because she always accuses her rich neighbors of being snobby. (Ahem. Can we say hypocrite?)But, of course, at the end everything is wrapped up in a neat, little package. The author really needs to get some better situations fast or the series will for sure die! ( And to anyone who also reads any of the Sweet Valley books, Francine Pascal doesn't write them. Look at the title page and it will say written by: someone else! That drives me crazy when people think that Francine Pascal writes them.)

    4-0 out of 5 stars Claudia + Alan=FOREVER!
I loved this book! I love how Ann has gotten other teen characters involved in the stories, not just the members of the BSC. They finally have friends outside the BSC it seems (like Claudia and Erica, Stacey and Rachel, Kristy and Cary, etc.). Anyway, This book was good because it let Claudia have a little romance in her life. I think they make a cute couple. Alan is still a joker, but he tries to hard to change for Claud, which makes her act different. Finally they get it together, and at the end, Alan asks Claudia to be his girlfriend. It was really sweet. It is so sad that they are going to graduate, especially when the series is getting so good, not just focusing on baby-sitting. Also, Claudia gets a job at the Stoneybrook Public Library, and that creates tension with her mom. Definitely a must read for the die hard BSC fan.

3-0 out of 5 stars OK
This book was OK, but totally not one of my faves. This book is about Claudia and Alan. Claudia really likes the way Alan is right now, but something is missing in him...could it be his humor? Is Alan trying too hard to impress Claudia? to find out, read this book! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Yay!
Finally, Claudia gets a guy and not Stacey! Stacey has been acting pretty nasty and mean during these Friendship BSC books. Well, Claudia wants to tell Jeremy how she feels about him by slipping a note in his locker, bu it ends up in the wrong locker! Even though Claudia didn't except it to be this guy, there will still be love. Find out "who" by reading this book!

5-0 out of 5 stars Claudia gets her man...
Yes! Jeremy- the guy that ruined the friendship of Stacey and Claudia- is FINALLY out of the picture! In the last book he broke up with Stacey, and then in this book Claudia writes a note to him stating her true feelings and asking him to the dance, but she stuffs it into the wrong locker...

I won't tell you who the guy is, but it's definitely surprising... he showers Claud with gifts, if best friends with Kristy's "arch-enemy" and is the guy of Claudia's dreams...

A great book, and another good plot! I like this series a lot more than the baby-sitters club series.

5-0 out of 5 stars A VERY Surprising Twist of Fate
Claudia has the chance to get her guy and making up with herBFF, Stacey! But,while on her way to getting her man, somethingunexpected happen. Claudia wrote a letter for Jeremy meaning on "More than Friends", and slipped into Jeremy's locker, but it turns out it wasn't his locker! And the guy who reads it falls for Claudia! This incident brought Stacey and Claudia together as friends again, Jeremy left behind, and Kristy Very disgusted! I won't tell you who the mystery guy was, only let you read it and be surprised, but I will tell you two more things, Claudia realizes Jeremy wasn't the guy of her dreams, but her "mystery guy" maybe is what her heart is really for......

5-0 out of 5 stars This series rules!
I love this new series so much! I've got reviews up on some others in this series, and I speak the truth in all of them. I have read the original BSC books for so long. I am glad for this change. Ms. Martin, kudos to you for making this series much MUCH more realistic than the original BSC series! I'm glad that the time between books is reasonable, and I'm really hoping that the girls will go on to high school when they finish this eighth grade year. After all, they've only been in the eighth grade since book TEN of the original series! I think that's a little long! They've had a million summer vacations, and now, everything that they recall from eighth grade, well, you get the picture. Keep up the good work, Ann!

4-0 out of 5 stars find a new cover girl!
I am very happy with the Friends Forever books because they are more realistic than the old BSC. I have one complaint though. I am Japanese-American and I don't think the girl who is on the covers as Claudia is. I would guess she is Phillipina. It drives me crazy when people think all Asian-American people are interchangeable, like we won't notice. There *are* differences in the appearances of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Phillipinas, etc., if only you would stop to look. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad.
This book wasn't the greatest of all the books in the BSC Friends Forever Series. It wasn't that interesting, either. It doesn't talk about the other characters in the book, mostly about Kristy, Cary, and Ted.

Kristy's at the center of a big school controversy involving a cool teacher and some not-so-cool enemies. Kristy needs all the help she can get--even from Cary Retlin, her archrival.

Kristy and Cary hav been spending a lot of time tegother, since they're supposed to write each other's life stories for school. But the more Kristy knows about Cary, the less she understands him...until she sneaks a peak at his journal. Has Kristy gone too far?

5-0 out of 5 stars Kristy Power!
In this book (the fifth book in the Friends Forever series), Kristy is paired up with Cary Retlin, her arch-enemy, to write a biography about him. While going to his house to get facts about him from his family, she steps into his room and accidentally peeks into an open spiral on his desk...

Meanwhile, parents are crusading to take away a book list that the great new teacher at SMS has issued to his eighth grade students. Kristy, students from SMS, and parents of the students go to a hearing to get Ted (the teacher's) job back.

My thoughts: I really liked this book- and that people stood up for what they believed in to "fight the power", so to speak, and used their right to protest. It stayed true to the "Kristy" image, and there was a twist at the end. A fast-paced, altogether good book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Super!
I really enjoyed reading this book. At first when I saw this book at the book store I was a little ify about getting it because I usuasly don't like to read Kristy books. I don't like reading Kristy books because I really can't relate to her,I mean I don't like baseball and I just don't like Kristy's style.I mostly like reading books about Claudia and Stacey because they're more like me. But this book really changed my mind about Kristy. I thought that this book was going to be about baseball and tacky clothes. But boy was I wrong. In this book I saw the better side of Kristy, the side of Kristy that I like. In this book Kristy's english teacher gives them a assignment that is nothing but trouble. The second part of the assignment is a biography.Kristy's english teacher partners them up randomly and guess who Kristy gets stuck with, her archenemy Cary. But during the project Kristy founds that Cary isn't that bad and that she's actual starting to like him, until one day Kristy steps over the line and Cary doesn't want to speak to her anymore.I thought this book was really good but I was kind of hopping that Cary and Kristy would get together and become boyfriend and girlfriend. To see if Kristy and Cary get through the project and patch things up between them read this excellent book. ...

1-0 out of 5 stars I DIDNT LIKE THIS STUPID BOOK
why?because, its prejudiced.its about a teacher at kristys school because of some books he said they should read.some christian parents get upset over it and get the teacher fired.why i dont like it is because it makes christians look like a bunch of hyperactive freaks who hate anything secular.well,newsflash- we arent like that.im christian, and i like a lot of secular things, this book not included.the author should be more considerate of her readers.

4-0 out of 5 stars Better then the old series
The new series is better then the old series, with more realistic things happening. This book dooesn't say much about the other members of the BSC and focuses maining on Kristy. I liked that it didn't have much about babysitting in, as I think those bits are really boring. This book is good but not brillant.I would like to give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Mary Anne comes out of her shell!
This was a great book! This book not only showed that Mary Anne didn't NEED to depend on Logan anymore, but it also brought up the fact that Mary Anne is growing up. Coming out of her shell. As Dawn said: "Your busting loose Mary Anne!" Logan was too controling and too sexest. Also how DARE he make fun of Mary Anne after she offered him countless times that she wanted to remain friends with him. Oh well, it's Logan's loss. He just missed out on a great friend, Mary Anne Spier.

I'm counting the days until #4! Great new series Ann M. Martin!

5-0 out of 5 stars Friends Forever rocks!
I really like this series better than the Baby-sitters' Club. This is more realistic and true to heart.

I'm SO GLAD Mary Anne dumped Logan. They were not a match made in heaven I'll tell you that! I agree with the other reviewers: Logan got way to controling. It's a shame that he actually dissed Mary Anne later on in the book! I whould have smacked him! (Allthough Mary Anne is too polite for that) I'm ELATED Ann M. Martin made Mary Anne stick to her guns. She didn't give in to Logan and get back together with him No ment NO. I won't spoil the ending, but you have got to read this book!

One more thing: I'm happy Mary Anne is moving on away from the fire. She's a very strong person! FRIENDS FOREVER RULEZ! CAN'T WAIT FOR #4 PEOPLE!

5-0 out of 5 stars Mary Anne Breaks Up With Logan
Mary Anne breaks up with Logan (for good this time)! The way she went about it wasn't that great, in my opinion (she made poor Logan cry), but what she did was totally right. (It was the SAME reason again- he was smothering her and making all the decisions.)

Anyhow- the main points of the book are:

    1) she breaks up with Logan
    2) she starts getting over the fire a little bit
    3) her family starts to convert the barn to a new house
    4) 2(!) boys ask her out, not including Logan
    5) much of the grade excludes her
    6) and she decides to be her own self!

All in all- a HUGE turning point in the BSC, and a WONDERFUL book!

5-0 out of 5 stars ITS ABOUT TIME!
This was an excellent book, i really enjoyed reading it. It was about time mary anne ditched logan and became her own person, i think mary anne is the best, i can really identify with the way she is and how she feels about logan. Still it will be a bit sad to see the best bsc couple so far dissapear i am sure the future will give mary anne great opportunities and a very interesting life.

5-0 out of 5 stars A View to the New Mary Anne
When I was 8 i've been reading bsc books for the longest. Eventually it became dull and unrealistic about real middle school life. Mary Anne finally let go of Logan. Logan was too overprotective and thinks he's always right. I'm glad Mary Anne got rid of him and finding herself. They were an unlikely couple to began with. The story was very realistic and i felt for Mary Anne , and even Logan ( He may be protective, but his feelings were genuinely hurt as well) Ann M Martin gain back a fan after I read this book. If your shy and need to get rid of smothering boyfriend, this is the book for you. ... Read more

I think this is a wonderful realistic book! I'm glad that there were changes in the BSC members lives because things can't stay the same in life forever. The plots in the BSC books were getting old and boring! But now we can read about new teenage changes about the same chariters in The Baby-sitters' Club: Friends Forever! Great job Ann! Kristy's Big News is sure to be a hit as well!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow..........that's all I can say is WOW!!!!!
I loved this book! It was so much more realistic then the Baby-sitters' Club! There were four different teens so there are four different stories!

Mary Anne is still coming to terms that her house and all her things burned down.

Stacey has to struggle with the fact that her father suddenily dissoproves of her older boyfriend, plus the fact that her father and his girlfriend's relationship has become VERY serious.

I like these books because instead of saying "This is sooooo boring!" you say "Yeah I can relate to that!"

I'm happy that this isn't just about the BSC! You'll deafnitely see all different kinds of plots in this new series.

This is the stuff teens can relate to! Everything Changes! Thanks Ann!

Baby-sitters Friends Forever is a great series! New things are happening with every single one of the baby-sitters (the author brought the members of the club down to the original four people), and problems that they experience are getting to be more teenage, not just problems with baby-sitting charges. Here's what's happening with ther fantastic four:

Kristy: is worrying big time about what is going to happen with the Baby-sitters Club as they get older and afraid that she and all her friends will drift apart in high school.

Mary Anne: is getting over the fire a little, and thinking about being her own person, not just the person her dad or Logan want her to be. She starts to think that Logan is smothering her.

Claudia: is on a trip to a "deserted" island with her family, and gets back to the simple life and finds that she likes it a lot.

Stacey: is having difficulties with her father- he doesn't like Ethan and thinks that Stacey is seeing too much of him, and he is thinking about moving in with his girlfriend who he has been seeing for a long time. Stacey doesn't like the idea of that.

This is a great book, and seems to focus on the situations that teenagers face when they start to head out of middle school and start to head into high school. A wonderful, realistic book.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Start to a Wonderful Series
I'm a die-hard Baby-sitters Club fan, and this is must read. It's important because it's the beginning of the end of the Baby-sitters Club.

In this one four of the remaining members of the club leave, which brings the level down to the original four members. Kristy and Abby go as CITs to camp, Claudia and her family go to an island, Stacey goes to Manhattan, where she has problems with her dad and his girlfriend, and Mary Anne stays in Stoneybrook with her family, and she tries to cope with the fire and Logan who is treating her like she can't take care of herself.

This is a wonderful, and very realistic book that chronicles what happens to four very different teenage girls. A great book, by a great author! ... Read more

This book illustrates that just because you have a disability doesn't mean you're different from everyone else. Also Dawn's dad is in the dating game and dawn and jeff come along for family dates, that was also an interesting read. I think this is one of dawn's better books. A great read!

5-0 out of 5 stars Dawn and Whitney, Friends Forever
I found this book so refreshing. Very rarely do you see books with a main character with a disability. Whitney is portrayed as a normal girl, even though she has a disability, and that is how it really is. So many books portray those with disabilities as weird, but Whitney is lovable and sweet. An A++ book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Two Different People
Well the book Dawn and Whitney, friends forever, was a good book because it talks about two different girls, and two whole different lifestyles. Whitney has a desease, can Dawn be her friend without telling her shes her babysitter? Well I liked this book because its about friendship and I think friendship is a very important thing to me.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's Good to See a Good Story About a Challenged Character
It is refreshing and wonderful to see a tastefully, believable story about a person with Down Syndrome. Ann Martin has a gift for creating realistic dialogues and characters. Her real talents lie in voice, placing, character development, plot and parallel plots. I like the way the babysitting charges often have a similar or parallel issue that their sitters face.

I never did like Dawn, though. I think she is a big mouth with no common sense. She blurts out to Whitney that she is Whitney's sitter and can't allow the girl to overindulge in eating sweets. Naturally Whitney is hurt to think that she has to have a hired sitter. It is a blow to her pride and is proof positive that Dawn is inconsiderate and has a big mouth.

4-0 out of 5 stars It was pretty good

5-0 out of 5 stars Awsome book!
The BSC is having a summer camp! The BSC has had a lot of problems-including Cokie Mason. So all the members have been workinghard-entertaining the kids, solving their problems, and fixing theirmistakes. But all the BSC members have noticed something weird aboutKristy. And that's because her father came back into her life! Mary Anne isthe only BSC member who knows that her father is back in town. During DayCamp, Kristy goes home early and comes late. Plus, she's been lying to allthe members! Kristy can't let all her friends down. But is her father worthit? Or will he go away again?

5-0 out of 5 stars Friends
I loved this movie, I had been waiting for it a long time. I liked it mostly bacause it shows the friendship between all the sitters, and sometimes in your hardest moments you need friends and they are always there for you. And that is what the movie is about, when Claudia needed to get good grades the other girls helped her, when Kristy had all this trouble with her father, her friends helped her solve the problem.

5-0 out of 5 stars I loved the book
The story was great but sometimes it made me sad. Kristy was torn between her father and her friends. Then Claudia flunked science and had to go to summer school. With all this going on the club was running a summer camp and CokieMason tried to steal Logan, Mary-Anne's boyfriend. The story was great but sad. ... Read more
