A Fortune of Fun for $10
This model has been an absolute kick to make. I am an overstressed financial executive and mother of an almost-four-year-old and this book has become my evening therapy. Although my daughter can't help with the building (it's fairly complicated and requires careful cutting), she loves watching me put it together while she plays with the tiny cut-out characters. She has spent hours making up versions of fairy tales while she watches me put the castle together. Playtime with my grandaughter
I looked for Shirley Temple paperdolls in the store with no success.I was so excited to find the Boston Museum paper dolls. The paperdolls are just great.After watching Shirley Temple films with my grandaughter for years - we now can play together and act out different movies.It's so much fun to see her face light up when she plays with the paperdolls.

We love changing the dresses.This is such an inexpensive but "hours of fun" gift.I'm going to buy the other paper dolls that are for sale.Hope more will be made!! ... Read more

Great teaching tool!
This model has a roof that swings open and you can view the inside, revealing a statue of Athena. Very easy to make. The pages are printed on both sides and in vivid colors. The directions are very clear. Would recommend this to anyone teaching ancient Greece. ... Read more

Cute Cut-Out Cast....from Oz!
This is an incredible Oz creation. You make your own theater which is pretty simple and it comes with an Oz curtain and different Oz backdrops for different scenes in the story. You also get a whole cast of Oz characters including Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion and Toto too. It takes about a day to make and let dry but it's worth the wait..trust me! It's an incredible idea and it looks absolutely beautiful when done. It has hours of fun in it and it looks great on display. I am trying to make it but my dad is really doing it.......
Ya it seams cool if you like egypt as much as I do but after five minutes I asked my dad to help me.(He is doing it now!) It will be really cool when it is done though. I just think that you would need a lot of adult supervision. Do not listen to the lady from Tex. you should not trust kids with a craft knife,siccors, and glue!!! It is hard but I am learning.(That is amazing because my family says I all ready know everthing about egypt and that I shoud start on somthing else I said I all ready know a lot about Rome,Greece and the ancient world.) Now where do we put it?
Sitting high up on the highest shelf of the tallest bookcase in my family room is an almost real looking, miniature Egyptian sarcophagus. Unbelievably, it's made of paper, glued together by my kids from a little Usborne cutout kit called "Make this Model Egyptian Mummy." I was more than a little skeptical when I ordered it. Boy, was I surprised...

First off, for them (and their mom) this was a highlight of our study of Ancient Egypt.

Second, they (and I) learned a lot about how these things actually looked.

Third, they built it without any adult supervision.

Fourth, they actually got along while doing it.

This is the way homeschool should be.

The most fun activity book I have ever played with
I have never read a book or seen a movie about Anne of Green Gables but I am going to now. This activity book/dollhouse is so enjoyable to build that I am putting it together very slowly. This is like the very detailed punch out and put together books that I played with 30 and 40 years ago. It's pages are printed front and back so that you see a complete house inside and out. You even get to put walls in and an attic. It would be easy to assemble (with a little help) for a 7 or 8 year old but very fun for everyone above that age.

I would recommend using a small diameter glue stick and let it dry before proceeding to the next step.

These two books contain coloring book type pictures of the California missions as they looked allowing students a glimpse of the past.
