The Little Mermaid (Disney/Book and Cassette)
This the Disney story about Arial, the little mermaid & all her odd assortment of friends that live with her in the sea. My grand-daughter Britanie, is 4 years old & just loves this book/ tape so much that she wore it out. I love the idea that the cassettes follow the words in the book so the children following the words read aloud, start to recognize words that they hear. I am in the process of trying to purchase her another set. This is only thing she asked me to get again her for Christmas.

Snow White done right..
Since this is a book taken from Disney's film version, I can see where much change was made. The illustrations are beautiful, more colorful, brighter than the original film. Everything seems to be in order: from the Evil Queen sending the huntsman to kill Snow White (he was unsuccessful) to the Queen transforming into the old witch, handing the apple to Snow White and the dwarves taking care of her until the Prince comes and kisses her awake. Lovely little tale. We read it on a nightly basis at our home. My two year old fancies himself a dwarf..Happy. ... Read more

Great Introduction to the Late Paleozoic
This book was a present to my two kids, ages 6 and 8, but I've enjoyed it as much as they did. My kids love dinosaurs, and I've read dinosaur book after dinosaur book. This is the first book that showed me what was around before the dinosaurs. The author (and illustrator) do a great job of being entertaining and informative. The drawing and humor are fantastic, and there are lots of little details that show up in the second, third and fourth reading (always an advantage in favorite childrens books). I highly recommend "When Bugs Were Big" for both parents and children who want to learn more about what the world was like before. ... Read more

Great for the beginner
I have a number of the Walter Foster series and this is the one I wish I had gotten first. The Character drawing designs were some of the easiest to follow I have run across. The major advantage is that with with Genie Character you can draw just about anything he can change into. best adaption of the movie
In 141 pages Karen Kreider tells the story of Disney's Aladdin and goes beyond it. Supported by full color images directly taken from the film. A recommendation for any Disney lover. Great way to introduce the story of Aladdin to anyone who wants to learn more about the movie but can't watch it.
