5-0 out of 5 stars Another great NFE book, too bad that it's a bit short...
Net Force Explorer Megan O'Malley and her friend Wilma Christensen become worried when they discover that their equestrian teammate and Wilma's boyfriend, Burt Kamen, disappears. Fortunately they find him at a combined online-offline refuge for 'runaways'. Burt reveals his reason for leaving is that his home life had become more than he could handle. How can he feel at home when his parents can't stand him? But Meg becomes suspicious hearing that Burt has gotten a job. What kind of employer would hire a runaways and troubled kids? And what kind of job? As Meg digs deeper, she finds that things are not exactly what they seem. Calling in reinforcements Leif Anderson and Mark Gridley, it's up to the three Net Force Explorers to discover what is really going on...

I'm a BIG fan of the Net Force Explorers series! The NFE series are a great Young Adult fiction series, especially those with a love for computers and the Internet. Since the Net presented in the books have no boundaries, you will never know what to expect next. But there IS one thing you can come to expect: stories that have plenty of twists and turns, having the whole plot well balanced with mystery, excitement, and adventure. And sometimes, there's a good romance! The Net Force Explorers include Matt Hunter, Megan O'Malley, Leif Anderson, Andy Moore, Mark Gridley, David Gray, Maj Greene, Caitlin Murray, and P.J. Farris. Occasionally other characters are introduced though they show up rarely.

It's too bad though that "Runaways" is the last book of the series. I hope they continue to publish more of the series! My only problem with this book is that it's a bit short, only 184 pages. Not only that, I felt that the first chapter was a bit unnecessary to the plot. Otherwise, the plot was interesting. I especially liked it that Leif gets to show-off his language abilities. None of the other books have really shown the extent of his talents in languages.

The series is for Young Adults and I strongly recommend only older kids since at times the computer and Net 'talk' is a bit confusing and hard for younger kids to understand. And there are some minor profanities in the book. I can highly recommend the whole series! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars This was nice......there is a fifth one right?
Before I started reading this book I had the impression that It would sum up all of the incidents and all the drama leading up to it. But, I was greatly disappointed. When the book ended I was thinking, did the real ending of the book fall out? Then I turned to page and saw the epilogue, so I thought, "Okay this should sum things up for me." But, It didn't. All it did was to leave me hanging on a string, and wondering if I misread something about a fifth book. I suggest that you don't read it unless you have prepared yourself for dissatisfation. But really, Is a fifth book coming out? Cause if it is, I'll change my review around completely.

5-0 out of 5 stars A internet girlfriend comes to town and wierd things happen.
I thought this book was great. In fact I think all the Danger.com books are great. They are my favorite kind of books, Mystery. I spend more than 2 hours reading at night when I read Danger.com books.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is one of the BEST books I've ever read!
Gemini7 is the first book in a series that's called Danger.com. I LOVE this book. I rented it from the library and I read it that same night in about 4 hours! I loved it so much that I bought it so I could have a copy of my own. This was my first Danger.com book and I plan to read more. I also like romance novels and this was what I would call, a thiller/romance!!! I recommend this book to all internet freaks, like me, who spend about 2 hours a day chatting with people you don't even know!!!! lol. I can't wait to read more of these! When it comes to Jordan Cray, I have to say just two words: TALENTED WRITER!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Online Killer Mistress
A Review by John

Jonah and Jen are in love but secretly Jonah has an online life were he talks to women and gets to know them. Nicole the one Jonah is most fond of shows up at his house one-day and they hit it off even more. While she is there strange coincidences happen that are unexplainable. Nicole acts very innocent and it is very difficult to think that Nicole is doing all of this. Jonah will go hunting for clues to try to get Nicole off the hook.

This book starts out slow and introduces the characters. I don't like that very much because it is not very interesting. But about ¼ of the way through the book it becomes more interesting. Strange things start to happen like the cottage blows up or Jonah's gets in a hit and run car accident. The author knows how to put you in suspense. The characters in the book are not told about very much. So you don't really know much about them. The only main character Jonah is told about a lot. Most of the words in this book you know what they mean. Hardly any of the words I had to guess on what they meant. This book was not difficult to follow or read. Many of the things they were doing or going to do you already knew what was going to happen. It was pretty obvious. I really liked this book it was very suspenseful and great.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good book, especially to people who like suspenseful and twisted books. Again this is a really good book. If you want to read a not so hard but suspenseful book read this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Gemini 7 by Jordan Cray
Do you like a book that gradually reveals a secret, unknown to the reader? Do you like twists, and questioning against the facts? If you do, then "Gemini 7" by Jordan Cray is the book for you! The book starts off in a quiet town in Pennsilvania, when we are introduced to a boy named Jonah..."Gemini 7" is a great book with a good story, fun action sequences, and the ability to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire book. I reccomend this book to teenagers, because it is based on teenage lives, and young readers. It is a book you will not want to put down.

5-0 out of 5 stars Greatest book ever!
Gemini7 was totaly fantastic! I have read 1-4 of the Danger.com seris. This one was the absoulute best! I recommend this book to every one. 5-0 out of 5 stars Great book!
This book is definitly one of my fav's!!!! Okay It's about Morgan Cross and how she is obsessed with the internet, just when she thinks everything is good with two friends she met on the internet she realizes that she has put one of them in life threating danger. The other one is more than she appears.
This is a really great book and it reminds all of us that we all must not always realie on our selves for everything but on God and never to underestimate how much damage you can do to someone with one chat on the web.
Hope u read the book!

1-0 out of 5 stars This is the Worst Book Ever
O my gosh I hated this book. We had to read it for literarry circles at school. It was about a dorky kid named Yip and he created a virtually perfect guy simulation who is supposed to be hot but he is actually hitious and Paige, Yip's sister starts falling in love with him which is so gross because she thinks he is hot when he is really hyteous. The other peope in my group hated it too. What a surprise. Maybe Dan Gutman should take up golf instead of writing. Here was our review... Yip is a twelve-year- old boy who is obsessed with building things. When his dad brings home a computer program that mades the perfect human/ actor he is compelled tho make a friend he never had. Victor the virtuall person gets pulled ou tof cyberspace he is perfect at everything but are there any glitches? Well that remains to b seen.

4-0 out of 5 stars Awsome story line!
I found this book a great book for all ages, I read this book, im 13 and i enjoyed it, some parts were a little childish but i found it to be an all around good book. Also i got my younger sister, Kelly, to read it, shes 10. She also enjoyed the book and read it with much enthousiasm.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must read book- dan gutmans masterpiece
In this thrilling tale, 12 year old Yip uses his dad's computer to create a virtual human named Victor. However, Yip has other things in mind beside being Yip's friend... read to find out in this excellent story!

4-0 out of 5 stars Interesting
I liked this book. It is about a kid named Yip who creates a virtual charector on his dads software with the help of his sister. This virtual kid, whom Yip and Page Victor, is very smart and (thanks to Paige) good-looking. Victor can talk, see through the screen, and hear. Because he is so smart, Victor figures out how to get out of the computer into the real world with Yip's help. (not a good idea, on Yip's part) It seemed that Victor is perfect. But thanks to Paige, he has no conscience. (Paige deleted some books on right and wrong to make room for his good looks)What will he do, released in the real world?

2-0 out of 5 stars Dont read this book!!!!...
THIS IS A REALLY BAD BOOK I DONT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.USUALLY I LIKE DAN GUTMAN BOOKS BUT THIS TIME I DIDN'T.IN SOME PARTS OF THIS BOOK I REALLY LIKE BUT THERE OTHER ONE'S THAT ARE REALLY BAD.YOU MIGHT LIKE THIS BOOK THOUGH. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Snail Mail No More
The book "Snail Mail No More" is a wonderful book. The protaginists are named TaraStar and Elizabeth. They are both 13 years old and best friends but TaraStar lives in Ohio and Elizabeth lives in New Jersey.Their goal is to make their friendship last. Their barrier is that their own conflicts may get in the way between the two of them. One conflict is that Elizabeth's father left her and her family or another on is that TaraStar's mother had a baby. Their lives are changing and it's hard for them to keep a long lasting friendship.
The author's style of writing is very interesting because it's all in e-mails. I really liked how the author did that because it makes the book fun to read and is not like anyother regular book.
I really liked this book and I could read it as many times and it still wouldn't be boring to me. It's honest about things that happen and things that might happen to anybody. It has humor and it is also sad. I loved it and is a great book.

4-0 out of 5 stars Differences
Snail Mail no More is about two young teens, Tara Starr Lane and Elizabeth who are separated when one of them moves to Ohio. They were the best of friends and it was terribly sad for the both of them. In Danziger's first book in this series, P.S Longer Letter Later, the two friends must keep contact with each other by using snail mail(regular mail). But in this book their families purchase computers so they can keep contact in e-mails! Tara Starr Lane is incredibly outgoing and energetic, and loves sparkly clothes and jewels and Elizabeth likes to keep to herself and pays no attention to clothes. They are so totally different, but somehow they manage to remain friends. Read a book full of funny e'mails sad e's and regular e's. I think you'll enjoy this book!

5-0 out of 5 stars An instant favorite
right when i finished the first page i knew that i would love this book. I have read it 5 times and every time it never gets old. I think of it as a book that covers common teen troubles. If you need a book to read PICK THIS UP NOW!

5-0 out of 5 stars Review for Snail Mail No More
Best friends Elizabeth and Tara*Starr have just moved far apart from each other. Tara*Starr accessorizes and loves to be in the spotlight. Elizabeth loves writing poetry and reading, and hates being noticed. After both of them receive the ability to e-mail, staying in touch is easier than ever! Both girls' lives are changing and not being able to be with each other doesn't help. Tara's mother has a baby and Elizabeth's father walks out on her family.
This book has an unforgettable tale that is hard to forget. The story really puts friendship to the test. It's very interesting to see how jealousy, dating, personal problems, siblings, and death can get in the way of friendship. It is also very fascinating to see how all these problems are resolved and how you can apply them to everyday life. I really enjoyed this story and I would recommend it to anyone who asked.

I loved this book so much because it never let you dry for suspense. I was always wanting to read more and more. I couldn't stop. This book had a fantastic main charcters that seemed like I could meet them down the street. I love these books and I have already read a couple of the "Danger.com". Each story almost seemed to almost happen on the internet. The charters in this book made a mistake to tell online that he wanted illegal cigars. This is why it left me in suspense because I never knew what was going to happen to them.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Book is Written Nicely in E-mails
The book Sarah's Page is a good, easy read. The plot is simple and good. The plot is not wonderful, but good and interesting. One factor that made this book an enjoyable read was that it was written all in e-mails. It wasa different way of writting and I really liked that. For those of you wholiked the book P.S. Longer Letter Later and/or the book Snail Mail No More,I think you would like this book. The characters in this book wre verybelievable. The bookwas quite detailed and added a lot of description, which was a nice aspect. The setting played an important role in the plot, for in the book the main character is this girl named Sarah who is from NewYork and is from a wealthy family has to live on a rustic farm and dochores. The reason why I gave this book a four star rating instead of fivewas because at times this book seemed to drag on a little, and got off thepoint. Overall, this book was pretty good. I think it is probably worth aread. I liked the writing style and characters best. I think girls ages 9,10, or 11 would really enjoy this book. This is a good book.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Definat Page-Turner
Sarah's Page is a wonderful book! The characters have real personality, they're not dull. You discover the story as she e-mails her best friend in New York. She's stuck on a farm with her sister and her sister's husband. Life gets tough, but Sarah is tough to.

5-0 out of 5 stars Something Very Special
Originally I bought this book for my niece who is a Michigander. The weekend it arrived from Amazon, she was off with her parents to a wedding for the weekend. It didn't take her long to read the entire story. Thisweekend she lent it to me.One day. That's all it took.I couldn't putSarah's Page down. Not only is it a clever idea, but the story iscompelling.Sarah is your best friend or the one you wish you had. (BTW Iam 53 years old ;) )

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT BOOK!
This is one of the best books I have ever read and I read a lot. A whole lot. I m a bookworm. If the authors or anyone who can influnce one of them read this(long shot I know but I have to try....) PLEASE let there be a sequal... and then another... and another.... at least 1 sequal. The book is about Annabelle and Guy whose parents knew each other and suggested they started writing over the internet become friends, and then thier imaginations go wild and they think.... well, you have to read the book, which I reccomend to anyone and everyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars From E to You review
I'm going to tell you about a book that is personally one of my personal favourites. The plot is simple. A boy and girl meet by e-mail. As you read on, the characters find out about their parents' past. It all ends happy, though.
I thought the characters in the book (Annabelle, Guy and their parents) were very strong. My favourite character is Annabelle because she has such a strong will and quite stubborn. I also liked her because i can relate to her. My friends at school say that I remind them of her, (my friends have also read the book!). I feel sorry for guy because of what has happend to him in the past.
I loved this book. It was funny and very sarcastic, and also quite sad in some places : *o ( .
I totally think there should be a sequal to this book and I could write a lot more, but I'll stop. It was great and i recommend it to young teens.

4-0 out of 5 stars Whoa.....
This has got to be one of the weirdest romances I have ever read in my life. Imagine the whole thing done in emails! But i thought it was halarious! I mean at one part of the book that took off there socks and checked there feet...haha. I guess you had to read it...lol. Anyways, even though some of the english terms were hard to understand, im a american this book was still horibly funny and I would recomend it to anyone who needs a good laugh. Also, on the preview pages of the book (I forget what you call them...) it does has this writting like the two authours are chatting and linda tells chris she has a good idea for a book and chris asks what and she says that they email each other or something like that. And chris asks what the plot and linda says there isnt one yet. And she wants HIM to play the girl! HAHA. I thought that made it even more funny the male writer playing the girl.....lol. Anyways, this book was awesome to the end and very unique. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Story
I am in the third grade and we are starting to learn Spanish. When I told my teacher that I had a children's book at home that was English and Spanish she asked me to bring it in. All the kids loved Chip, the Little Computer and they all want to borrow it. My teacher said she was going to buy it on Amazon.com. It is a great book and it helped me with my Spanish so you should buy it too!

5-0 out of 5 stars Love this book!
My mom bought this book for me and I think it is a cool book. I like Chip. He is a nice computer. I am glad that this story has a happy ending. It taught me never to give up on my dreams.

5-0 out of 5 stars 'Chip' inspires seven-year-old
I gave Chip, the Little Computer to my sons best friend who was turning seven. I couldn't have made a better choice. The next day the birthday boy was telling all his friends about this "cool" book that he had read to his dad all by himself. I feel that the books inspirational message was passed on to this little reader and a wonderful lesson was learned. ... Read more

I read it all nite, even at the dinner table....Any kid or adult that likes the internet, mysteries, and suspense should definetly go by this book!! Also, Pantera is the coolest band ever...To all kids. go buy the CD called "Reinventing the steel" plus, I am 14, not 12....I had to put 12 cause that is the oldest age on the form

5-0 out of 5 stars danger.com review
I think the book is very exciting and dramatic. It's very dramatic sometimes, then it could be really funny. It is mind boggling and it makes you think and it doesn't give you any clues or hints. It will make you think it is a certain person, then you'll find out it isn't that person. It is a great book to read. I have bought the whole series because of the way the author details everything. So, I hope you like it as I have in the 3 books I have read. ... Read more

He described everything so clearly.I recomend everyone shoud read his books exspecially "Shiver". Its the bombest!!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars It is too good to be made into a movie!
OK, so here it is. I saw one of my friend reading it, and I just started reading it after he puts down the book. THEN I got so into it that I was filled with mysterious whenever I flipped a page and looking for any clue in the lines... It gets so REAL that it isn't funny but rather scary, and that's when you know that it's worth reading it. I suggest people should read this book to learn something since this type of thing could happen to anyone...

5-0 out of 5 stars shiver
This book was so suspensful. I couldn't stop reading it. I was always wondering the big question in mysteries,
"Who did it?" If you don't read this book, it is your lost. It is one of the best books I have ever read.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME BOOK
From the start to finish, this book either makes you laugh or makes you completely scared. i read it at night and believe me, i checked under my bed and in my closet before i went to bed. riley tulane talked in an online chatroom with 6 theater artists. He connects with one of them, and b4 he knows whats happening, he is meeting her and the rest of the group at her inn. He hopes that she is a 10 on his "babe scale" but she turns out to be the opposite of what he expected. then, funny things start happening and someone is murdered...this one really surprised me!!

5-0 out of 5 stars All the Net Force Explorers in one book! Hurray!
All the Net Force Explorers are excited to visit the annual computer gamers' convention in Los Angeles. One of the top new computer game designers, young Peter Griffeth, is about to give a preview of his newest creation. But monsters from his game attack Matt Hunt and Maj Greene in virtual reality, then they are almost kidnapped in real life! Something is going on and it's up to the Net Force Explorers to figure out what. But their mysterious foes are turning out to be dangerous and violent, people who will do anything to achieve their evil goals. Will the NFEs be able to solve the mystery before it's 'game over'?

One of the reasons I find this book to be one of the best is that the action and excitement start from basicaly page one of the book. A page turner, "Gameprey" has in my opinion the most action put in any of the Net Force Explorers Series. Another point in "Gameprey"'s favor is that ALL of the NFEs are in this book! From my favorite characters Leif, the smartest NFE Mark, to the jokester Andy, everyone's involved in this mystery. Another interesting aspect in the book is that we're given the viewpoints of the bad guys, too though Maj Greene is the main character.

The series is for Young Adults and I strongly recommend only older kids since at times the computer and Net 'talk' is a bit confusing and hard for younger kids to understand. I can highly recommend the whole series!

One little thing, though VERY small. There's a typo on page 125, around the upper middle half of the page. The word 'by' is used instead of the correct form, 'buy'. Just a little nitpickers trivia.

4-0 out of 5 stars A great read!
The dragon soars above the trees. The sun reflects of the multitude of scales covering the huge beasts back. It's great wings stretch as they beat against the air propelling the creature forward.....

This Tom Clancy created book is an easy read and is entertaining.

This series of books is aimed at the younger reader and takes you into the lives of a group of kids that are part of the "Net Force Explorers". The Explorers are a program created by Net Force, the agency charged with fighting crime on the internet.

Follow the groups latest adventure as they try to figure out what's going on with one of the hottest games on the internet.

This is an action packed story that kept me hooked until I was finished. Buy this book today, you won't be disappointed.

5-0 out of 5 stars Grrrrrrrrrrreat!
As usual, Clancy's teen novels deliever a good plot, awesome technology, and familiar, believeable characters. Things happened a bit fast at the end, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. WONDERFUL book, a must-read, whether you're new to the Net Force series, or an old fan. ... Read more
