Everyone needs to Com Out and Play
Maya Ajmera and John D. Ivanko's wonderful picture book, Come Out and Play, features brilliantly detailed photos that depict children from various ethnicities playing and having fun in different countries around the world.A phrase or two accompanies every photo in the book, telling how and where the child in the illustration is playing.For instance, the caption "Paddling a canoe in Guatemala" appears beside a photo of a child doing just that.These abundant, colorful photos throughout the book do a wonderful job of telling children that they are no different than other kids around the world and that it doesn't matter if they speak differently or have a different color skin, they all are alike in some way. ... Great book for all ages
It doesn't matter if you are a beginner bowler or "an expert" anyone can learn something new from this book. Well written and to the point it truely gives concrete steps to help you be a better bowler. This is a book appropriate for all ages. My Daughter Loved This Book ...
My seven year old daughter is in her third year of figure skating and really loved this book. The elements that little Nastia is working on are the same ones my daughter is doing, so she thought it was great to compare! She also loved the appearance by Emily Hughes.

A Really Cute Book!
My 2 year old actually picked this one out herself. The pictures are real pictures of little 5-year old Nastia and it follows her into the rink and at various competitions. More appropriate for 5-6 year olds and up
I bought this book for my almost 5-year old coloring fanatic, based on Amazon's age-rating of 4-8, but I'd rate it more appropriate for at least 5 or 6 year olds. The story is too advanced and detailed to hold my daughter's interest, even though she loves the story of Black Beauty. The pictures are smaller and more intricate than I'd like, most covering just portions of pages rather than full pages (although there are some full-page pictures), but she still enjoys coloring them. Since she loves the story, she was very excited to have the book; though it's slightly frustrating for her sometimes, she brings it out often and keeps trying - at least she'll have it for years to come!

I colored good pictures in my Black Beauty Coloring Book.
I have that Black Beauty Coloring Book it had the words to the story in it and I colored great pictures in this book with Markers & Pencil Crayon's and they were beautiful.

I read this book back in 1994 when I first got into skateboa
This book basically got me interested in skateboarding back in 1994 when I was 8. It's out of date, but this book has great photos of skaters like the now imprisoned Christian Hosoi and Eric Dressen. I'd advise this book to any collector, its a good book.

The best skateboarding book yet . . .
Interestingly outdated, this book shows some of the 'old-shool' stufftoday's hyped up and played out skaters just don't understand.

Good report book
This is a good book if you're doing a research paper or report onskateboarding. It's alright for learning how to do tricks since the tricksare outdated but fun.

This book including some of the older tricks: the flatland freestyle, which is rarely found in any of the recent skateboarding books.It's all colour and plenty of pictures.There is not enough pictures of the pros but if that's what you want, you would go and get Transworld Skateboarding.This bood is very refreshing.It's not prefect but by comparison, this is one of the better skateboarding books out there. ... Great little book!
I read this with my son. The words and pictures work very well together, and the pictures are very imaginative. This a great little story that helps young ones work up the self confidence to try Bowling or any new activity.
