I really liked this book. It told me all I really needed to know about Monster Jam and the Monster Trucks that raced in the rally's. The pictures really had action like the real thing. And you can trust me I've been in six of these events straight. It has eleven interviews of the Monster Trucks. It's like you are behind the wheel and you know exacly what your doing. Fascinating Book!
I never dreamed how caught up in racing I would become when I picked up Nancy's book!It was so fascinating.It's full of interesting facts that kids (and adults) will love.Nancy brought the world of racing into my world--I couldn't put it down.I kept saying, "no way!"The pictures are incredible, too.This book is one your children will want to keep and read over and over!There's just so much to absorb!

I purchased this book as a gift for my son (racing enthusiast). I must admit that I also read the book and found it quite rewarding. The author promotes a real first hand look at the annual race (she is married to a former Indy driver) with interesting notes and lots of Indy specific facts. Also, worth noting the book is current with photos of 2004 Rahal/Letterman, Indy champ Mr.Buddy Rice. Put down the video game controller and read a good book ! ... Read more

Good quality
This item is a combination toy and book. The book, a mere 11 pages, tells the story of a race. The toys are four fomula-1 racecars of about Hotwheels size, and a reusable, sheet plastic (approximately 2' x 3') racetrack. My son bought this item with money from his allowance, and he is very happy to have it. The cars are of a good quality (they roll better than some Hotwheels he has), and this racetrack seems like it will last. Overall we both like this item, and recommend it to you. ... Read more

Inside a Boy's Mind
Michael has done a terrific job of telling his story from the mind of a small boy. My three boys LOVE this story--and from a mom's perspective, it captures so wonderfully the way little boys play, think, and imagine. The illustrations are fresh and vibrant, the story itself simple and straightforward. All in all, a great children's book.
