4-0 out of 5 stars Great book, but...
I thought this was a good book, but not nearly as well written as the first trilogy. One thing I liked about it was that it addressed Anakin's fear of turning to the dark side, though wasn't that taken care of in the previous book? When I first read this, at age eleven, I really could have cared less about Uldir, and considered him an irritating fifth wheel. But now that I myself am a teenager,(about to turn fifteen) I understand his problems better and sympathize more with his character. This book is best for children twelve and under, but anyone could read it as long as they don't expect an epic. One more thing; how come in Heir to the Empire Yoda's house is all rotted and not even there anymore, but in this book, which takes place thirteen years later, it's perfectly intact.Well, like I said, this book has it's flaws, but it's good.

5-0 out of 5 stars From Selah--absolutely excellent!
This book is the best in the series.Anakin has some spell-binding dreams that you'll love.In this book, Anakin goes to Dagobah with Tahiri and Ikrit. When he gets there, he and Tahiri revisit the place where Luke was trained by Yoda. And what they see there is truly amazing . . .

5-0 out of 5 stars I thought that Anakin's Quest was an excellent book.
I liked this book because it concentrated only on what Anakin did instead of switching to what Han did, or Luke did, and the whole book was about him.It was easy to read and I hope that they write a lot more books in this series.

4-0 out of 5 stars Rebecca Moesta does a great job with Star Wars
I am an avid Star Wars fan.I've read just about all of the books.Even though I am 27, I especially enjoy the Junior Jedi Knights series. It's easy reading and a real joy to read. This book is wonderful because you find out the true fears of Anakin and Tahiri. If you love Star Wars, find out more about Han and Leia's youngetst son in these great books.

4-0 out of 5 stars "Anakin's Quest" a good start for young "Star Wars" fans
Thousands of children's books are published every year, and it's hard to catch kids' attention. One thing that never fails to stand out, however, is the familiar "Star Wars" logo on a book cover. "Anakin's Quest," the fourth book in the popular Junior Jedi Knights series, is a wonderful tool for encouraging young "Star Wars" fans to read. Rebecca Moesta's writing is concise and uncomplicated, and the story moves quickly enough to keep most kids interested. Young Anakin Solo, son of Han Solo and Princess Leia, is learning to be a Jedi Knight with the help of his uncle, Luke Skywalker, and his friends Tahiri, Master Ikrit, and Artoo-Detoo. In this installment, Anakin and company travel to Dagobah to visit the cave where Luke Skywalker faced the Dark Side in himself. Anakin is afraid that he's destined to fall to the Dark Side like his grandfather, Darth Vader, and needs to face his own inner demons. His adventures along the way will engross and excite even the most casual of "Star Wars" fans. This book is best for children aged 7 to 12--and, of course, the young at heart. ... Read more

This book is about a boy named Parker. He has a guinea pig named Godzilla. Godzilla is crazy! He causes lots of trouble!

4-0 out of 5 stars Gozilla Ate My Homework
GODZILLA ATE MY HOMEWORK
One day this boy bought a hamster. Then when he came home from school and he had homework. When he went to school and got his homework off his desk it was gone. Then one day he cleaned out his hamster he found pieces of torn paper with letters on them. He knew that the hamster was eating it. The boy never knew how the hamster got out of the cage.

I recommend this book to anyone that likes to read about hamster and a little boy. this book is really intersting and good and many people can relate to it.

Book Description

When Hoole decides to visit the planet Gobindi, even a warning from Tash's anonymous Holonet contact isn't enough to change his mind. He's determined to study the planet's ancient ruins. For Tash, it's a chance to discover what her mysterious uncle is really up to.

On Gobindi, Tash hears rumors of a secret Imperial base and a plot to spread a terrible virus across the galaxy. But when Hoole assures her that nothing is wrong, Tash is relieved. For a little while.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good plot, and follows through the first three books.
I read this book of Spring 2,000.I realy didn't know what these books were going to be about until I read the first three. I started at eaten alive. it was a good book and had a good plot. Then, I read the second book, City of the Dead. It was very good and also had a good plot. After that, I was on the third book. It was a really cool book. I really liked the evil Shi'ido that pretended to be the doctor and friend of Uncle hoole. It also has some of the original characters like Wedge Antillies. John Whitman described the dense jungle, the old pyramids, and the green oozy blobs very well. As you read these three books and all of the star wars galaxy of fear books, each book makes sense. Like in planet plague, Zake got that sickness from dr. Evazen in book two. And in book three you the evil Shi'ido is really... in book four. I can't tell who it is becasue you have to read the books yourself. So, sit down for a couple a minuets and read a chapter or two. Me and my friend have read the first three books and we still talk to each other at school about what happened in the books. Well, that's all I have to say for now, but sit down and read these collections of books. It will take you on an adventure.

5-0 out of 5 stars YUCK
Tash and zac are trapped on dogobia. with a blobs running around. Zac is sick while DR. KIVIA injectes a deadly virus into hoole and tash . Hang on to your pants as you go on a thrilling ride of your life in planet plague.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best Star Wars books I have ever read
I've read Star Wars galaxy of fear no.2 and 3, although planet plague (no.3) was my personal favorite. It's about two kids named Tash and Zak who'se parents were destroyed on the planet Aldeeran by the evil Empire's Death Star. In Planet Plague, Tash, Zak, Uncle Hoole who is a mysterios Shi'ido, and DV9 (Deevee for short)fly to the planet Gobindi in thier newly-bought ship, the Shroud. The Gobindi culture suddenly and mysteriosly vanished from the galaxy, nobody knows why. When they landed they hurried Zak to the medical infirmary, called IBWD, meaning, Imperial Biological Welfare Division. At one of the computer terminals at the infirmary, Tash typed Starscream into the password enter, Starscream was an Imperial code for some secret plot by the Empire that she got a lot of information on from Forceflow, Forceflow was some person Tash had met over the Holonet. on the terminal, IBWD appeared on the screen, instead of Imperial Biological Welfare Division under it, said Imperial Biological Weapons Division. Near the end, Tash finds out that her Uncle Hoole's Friend, Dr. Kavafi is actaully another Shi'ido, the Shi'ido are shape-shifters, they can transform into anyone and anything in the Universe. The other Shi'ido was an imposter, secretly planning to flow a microscopic virus through the air this was unkown to Hoole, but eventuelly, Tash, Zak, Hoole, and Deevee stop the virus from harming anyone. And then they fly off into space. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars OK Godzilla book
I am 7 years old. The Godzilla book is a good book, but I wish that it was just the same as the movie "Godzilla vs King Ghidorah". What I liked was that it had Battra in it, and lots of other monsters in it. Any kid who likes Godzilla should read this book.

5-0 out of 5 stars A VERY GOOD STORY!
This is Mr. Ciencin's third Godzilla novel and I would have to say it's his best. The plot is about a space rock that crashes near a kid named Troy's house and tells him that Ghidorah is coming to earth. And the rock tels Troy how to defeat it. Meanwhile, Godzilla has his hands full keeping the peace on Monster Island with help from his friend Anguirus. When Ghidorah comes and threatens the peace Godzilla and his monster friends defend their home from the space dragon in a well written battle. This book has a clever and unique ending too. I like how Mr. Ciencin takes the time to describe Godzilla's personality and feelings, which makes the character more fun to read about. That is one of the most unique part about his novels - he describes the monsters as almost people with feelings and personalities. A nicely done Godzilla book that is entertaining for all G-Fans!

4-0 out of 5 stars This book was Great!
My favorite part of the book was when all the monsters were fighting King Ghadora. I am glad they won. I liked this book because I like when Godzilla wins the fight. I read it over and over again.

3-0 out of 5 stars OK book.
Scott Ciencin don`t know much about Godzilla. G`s atomic breath almost kills Ghidorah in the movie G. vs. King Ghidorah not warm him up. Godzilla can fight Ghidorah by him self.He used many old Toho monsters and made up new ones. All in all I give it 3 stars. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Yeah, This One's Pretty Dumb. . . however. . .
Okay, first off, I should confess. I have been a Godzillaphile for thirteen years now, ever since I was in 2nd Grade and first saw "King Kong Vs. Godzilla." Intrigued by this dinosaurian creature, and knowing next to nothing about him (besides the fact that there were about a gajillion Godzilla movies out there), I trotted to my Southdale Elementary School library, and Lo and Behold, there was a Godzilla book, written by Ian Thorne. As well as books on King Kong, Dracula, The Frankenstein Monster, the Wolfman, ditto ditto etc. etc. I must have read this book over a million times.

And today, I realize that it's actually a pretty dumb book. Now granted, the information available at the time couldn't have been much (written in the 1970's, even before TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA recieved its American release apparently), but still, there isn't much to offer fans other than some rather nice pictures. It's a children's book by and large, more or less describing the movies one by one, and giving a little (very very little) information about the filmmakers and when the movies were released.

But in addition to saying there were two endings to KING KONG VS. GODZILLA, the book also describes Gigantis as a female monster-- and from no other source have I ever heard that, the movie included. It also seems to make a clear distinction between Godzilla and Gigantis, when in fact the only difference is the American distributor's ill-fated idea of a name change. There is no mention of the actors involved in the movies (with possible exception of Raymond Burr), or those who played the monsters, or who all worked on these films. And of course, it's Ishiro Honda, not Inoshiro Honda (though to be fair, that's a correction that has only really become widely known in the last five years or so).

So by now, it's a pretty dumb book, and probably very rare-- I haven't seen a copy of the thing in nearly ten years, and I never found any for sale (otherwise I probably would have bought it). But it holds a special place in my heart-- until the Internet in the late 90's, this was the most informative source on Godzilla around. (Thank God for Stuart Galbraith IV!!)

So it's not

3-0 out of 5 stars Great Pictures of "Godzilla Raids Again"
This book really isn't all that good in the info department, but it does have alot of great pictures from the movie "Godzilla Raids Again" (1955). Thats is pretty much it. Everything else is pretty much incorrect. (Examples) There were 2 endings to "King Kong vs. Godzilla". They call Angilius "Anzilla". They call Gorosaurus "Baragon" (they could of gotten that confused because in "Destroy All Monsters" thats what the news guy calls him.)

2-0 out of 5 stars An ill-researched kids' book
Godzilla films are a subject of interest to many children, and it would have been nice to have an intelligent book on the subject written for a juvenile audience. Unfortunately, this book is a bare-bones look at the movies, and many of the author's facts are wrong. I can only reccomend this book to completists and for very small children. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars i have no title-its just GREAT!!!
i think this book is the best yet. i dont own it, but thanks to my local library i check it out every time. i have 5 younger siblings, and they always want me to tell them a bedtime story.
finally i reread the story 10 times and memorized it. its a big help. i dont have to carry the flashlight into their rooms now.
i reread all of the series and now i mimorized all of them. i them all a huge 5*. i am what people call a starwars nut. i like the part whenever the rebels come in. and like others i like it that this focuses most on hoole. basicly I LOVE THIS BOOK!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great
I haven't read any of the ones after this, and this is the one when Tash uses the force to help her buddies. Doesn't DV figure out that Tash knows the Force in this one? I can't remember. Good book for people who are fans of Tash or Hoole, the other characters are squeezes in there for a part.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Edition to the Galaxy of fear series
This is truly an excellent Edition to the Galaxy of Fear series. This is amust-have for any Star Wars fans anywhere no matter what their age is.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best in the entire Galaxy of Fear series . . .
I loved this book because it talked more about Hoole than anyone else. All of the other books are mostly based on either Tash or Zak. During the whole series (I read book one first, and then all the way through book six), I had always wondered about Hoole, and his character, his past, ect. This is the book where I found the answers to my questions. This book is a true treasure that I'm glad I kept. When I bought this, I wasn't disappointed at all--and neither will you! If you don't like this book, it's probably because you're too old for it. There's no way that you can like all the other books in this series (Books 1-5; Eaten Alive, City of the Dead, ect.)and NOT like this one. This book is the best of all!

5-0 out of 5 stars I encourage kids to read this book it is excellent
For being eleven I thought this book was perfect for kids. It was so good I couldn't stop reading. In this book It keeps you waiting for what will happen next. I strongly recommend it for you. As for me I am going on to read the next Star Wars book, The Brain Spiders. Enjoy!! ... Read more
