Wonderful Teacher's Notes!
Well-researched, easy to use. Written for the classroom teacher but equally useful for the private teacher. You can either follow the book page by page, or choose and pick the amount and kind of information you want to use.
I also own the Teacher's Notes for "Mozart's Magic Fantasy" as well as "Beethoven Lives Upstairs" and "Song of the Unicorn". The amount of reasearch that went into these Notes is quite impressive. They are all wonderful resources and, in my opinion as a private teacher, worth twice the money!

Frightening
I found this book to be extremely rude towards midgets. I just was not impressed at all. This book really ticked me off in the way it treated midgets.

I love this one!
I bought this book and cassette for my now 11 year old son when he was just a baby. His younger sister, now 7, has enjoyed it for many years as well. I have bought this as a gift for many new parents. I love the collection of songs on this tape! From the classics like "Angels Watching Over Me" to Loggins and Messina's "Watching The River Run" to Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds". Come on - how much better can a "children's" cassette get! I'll be enjoying this one forever!

Best Toddler Bedtime Tape Ever!!!!
The songs on this tape are fantastic! They're arranged wonderfully, calming, and pleasant to listen to. Our kids loved it so much they accidently erased one side trying to play it. (It doesn't have the tabs on top broken off to prevent this. Do it yourself right away!)

The tape includes songs not typical to children's tapes, including some great american folk songs. This will greatly enhance your music collection. ... Read more

Great for preschool and early elementary kids
Songs are upbeat, with catchy tunes and fun lyrics.I find myself singing along as much as my 5-yr-old.They're mildly educational, such as the song listing all kinds of beans with a chorus of "beans for dinner, beans for lunch, beans for breakfast, beans for brunch," or a song about dinosaurs "What happened to the dinosaurs, where did they go, was it hunger or cold or did they just grow old, I guess we'll never know."I first found this tape at the library, but liked it so well we had to buy a copy to keep.The songbook includes melody line, chords, and words to all songs. ... An Upbeat Call To Care . . .
. . . for the Earth - a great collection of Earth stewardship songs for children and yes, for adults, too. Watch out - once Baxter the Big Black Bear gets into your head, it isn't easy to get it out!
