Classic Mysteries for Your Enjoyment
This Adventures in Odyssey collection contains 9 classic mysteries from the run of the series. From the serious, the multi-parters "The Case of the Secret Room" and "A Perfect Witness," to the more humorous, "Heat Wave," "Train Ride," and "Harlow Doyle, Private Eye," these 12 30-minute episodes will leave you glued to your radio to find out "who done it." This is a great collection for the new Odyssey fan. They did a good job of collecting episodes that represented the entire run of the show and the wide range of the mysteries they've done. The reintroduction of Harlow Doyle is the only weak episode in the bunch. Long time fans will be interested to note that "Train Ride," a personal favorite from the show, is included here for the first time ever in a collection.

Great reading
This is a very mis named book. It is not just for teens, but for anyone who needs a ray of sunshine in their life. In each of these true stories, we see God intervening in the lives of young people, often through angelic appearances, in such a way that lives are saved, or more importantly, changed. A runaway boy finds his way home, a hapless girl is able to escape an attacker in a way that could only be a miracle. A sister's prayer for her brother gives them extra time together. A girl who should not have even lived regains the use of her legs.

***** Real life is filled with the incredible, the miraculous. Many people want to dismiss the coming generations as being godless heathens. As long as there are a few who sparkle as the ones in this book, and as long as there is a God who has such great love for them, though, there is hope and there is joy. *****

Awesome! I love the stories! Christians everywhere REJOICE!
I read the LEFT BEHIND The Kids series for most of Spring 2000 and I loved them. I stopped at 4 because I kind of lost interest. But in October 2000 I got the first edition of the Drama cassettes. And this year I got the second edition. I am listening to it as I type this review and I will never stop listening. I will buy the 3rd very very soon. Anyway, if you are between the ages of 9 and 15 BUY THEM NOW! The CDs are better because of the enhanced stereo quality. Sounds pass around you, dialogue is heard from different directions, its awesome!

I LOVE THE LEFT BEHIND KIDS AUDIOBOOKS!
I love how they didn't decide to release a read version, but they released a "LIVE ACTION AUDIO DRAMATIZATION" of the kids books. I am a fan of the first Left Behind (Adult) Live Action Audio (Listen with very enclosing surround sound headphones and you will be blown away by the great sound quality!). I have Left Behind The Kids audio #1 on cassette (the store didn't have the CD yet) and #2 on CD. They are all great. Each disc represents one book. Each release has 4 books. Get this audiobook! Buy them both! Hopefully a movie will come out.

I am 10 years old and have been reading the "LEFT BEHIND KIDS"books since I was 8. I REALLY REALLY LOVE THEM and CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE TO COME OUT !! I was SOO EXCITED to get the first "LEFT BEHIND: DRAMATIZED AUDIOBOOK " with books 1-4, and then it took forever for this 2nd one to come out. The first one is AWESOME, and this one is just as GREAT !
I have a couple of unsaved friends,I've told them how GREAT the books are, but they don't like to read, so they won't read them,even when I let them borrow mine. But when they come over, they really like listening to these alot, & they ask alot of questions.They keep asking me if the new/next one came out yet, 'cause they REALLY want to hear what's gonna happen !!

Excellent for toddlers and preschoolers!
We received this tape as a Christmas gift and my 2-year-old daughter loves it. It has fun action songs and easy-to-learn words with simple truths about God and Jesus. My daughter even learned subtraction from one song which counts down from 5 ladybugs to no ladybugs. I'm buying a copy for my niece and for the children's choir at church. Highly recommended.

Five Little Ladybugs
My children absolutely love this book and video. The songs have a great message and are easy to learn for young children. My daughter received this as a Birthday gift and now we give this as a gift to her friends. They all love the music. I highly recommend these books and tapes for any child on your list.

Fun & Lively!
We used this tape, and several others by Karyn Henley, in our Christian child care centre. The children picked up the songs quickly and loved each one. They would often join in on the videos too. An excellent resource for anyone with little children who are lively. EXCELLENT! ... Read more

It's a fun tape, if you know VeggieTales
This audio tape of "A Very Veggie Christmas" is based on the special presentation created by Big Idea (the makers of VeggieTales) that is aired in December, usually on PAX. Those of you familiar with the special presentation or "The Toy that Saved Christmas" will hear a lot of familiar songs and the usual hillarious interactions between Bob, Larry, Junior, and the rest of the vegetable gang. If you are unfamiliar with VeggieTales, this tape can seem disjunct. However, if the intended listerner of this tape enjoys listening to traditional songs with non-traditional beats and/or lyrics, then the tape would most likely be worth listening to. The songs and scripts are funny, not offensive. Children and adults would both enjoy listening to this tape. The weakest one is still better then most TV
While nothing wrong morally or Biblically, this CD Set is probably one of the weakest in the series. The problem is two-fold: first - they decided to go with a shorter stories for many of the shows here: so most of the episodes are only 11-15 minutes long. This is fine now and then, but it gives almost no time to set up any story...and is a long shot from the 3 parters of the past. This also gives way to some weak stories with some rather bizarre and forced situtations that are supposedly "Real," and not a KidsRadio or BTV episode (Mandy's dead fish is talking?!? Eugene's bulit a Robotic Whit, and Whit comes back and tries to connect that with Idol worship??)

However, it's not a total washout. "I Slap Floor" is one of the funniest shows they've ever made, and it's geared toward the long-time listener. It's one that get funnier at every listen, and anybody who's seen the videos might have to stop the tape so they don't laugh thru the whole story! Changing Rodney is good as well, as is the "live" one, Mandy's Debut.

For someone new to the world of Odyssey, don't start here. Check out some of the older ones, or better yet, start with the newer "The Big Picture," which is far, far better than this one.
But, even if this is one of the weaker CD Sets, it's still better than what passes for good writing on TV, ...

This is a series of cassettes from Focus on the Family. I have not actually heard any of these but judging from the previous cassettes I have heard this one is sure to be a hit. The values and morals in the stories are right on target for christians and non christians and you will not have to worry leaving your child alone with them. ... Read more
