4-0 out of 5 stars Woohoo! Role Playing!
If you like Role Playing and if you like Sailor Moon, you'll absolutely LOVE this book! Guardians of Order has come out with the absolutely simplest RP system possible. They call it the the Tri-Stat System. All you have are three stats and a couple of 6 sided dice. Roll up your character and assign some numbers and attributes... Now, you're ready to play! Based on the popular Anime series, Sailor Moon, this RPG is a sure hit. I've both played and run campaigns with this book and I've enjoyed being on both sides of the coin. Sailor Moon is a wonderful universe Role Play in and Guardians of Order couldn't possibly have made it any easier! Plus, with all the added resource material about the shows, OVAs, characters, and villians, this book is a must have for any serious SM fan!

5-0 out of 5 stars A definite buy for any Sailor Moon fan!
I own and have read this book. I think it's the best. I especially like the resource book in the back. It's got voice actors names, episode summaries, profiles, information on Japanese customs, information on the Japanese and English versions of Sailor Moon, mythology related to the show, and lots of other things. It also contains about 200 images throughout the book. Most of the book is all about the Tri-Stat-System Sailormoon RPG. I've gone through it. The game rules seem a little complicated, but the game looks fun once you learn how to play. If you like Sailor Moon, I recommend this book for you!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great if you like the Anime
The book was in great deteailed, and helped with the plot lines for fans.If you are a fan of the Anime, this book is a most get.If you are mkainly a manga buff it isn't as important.

5-0 out of 5 stars This book is a must have for anime/rpg lovers
My first experience with this book was my freshman year in college. Me and my friends go together and played a campaign in which there were no sailor scouts but just knights. We then of course got big eyes small mouth and expanded the possibilities of the gaming sphere. If you want to play an RPG that doesn't have mind boggling statistics then this is it, because everything is based of a roll of 2-12 on two 6 sided dice. Really easy system good for beginners and experts alike. Try it.

5-0 out of 5 stars If you like Sailor Moon, you'll love this book!
Buy this! It's such a cool book. Now you can roleplay your favorite Scout and use your own wits to beat the Negaverse. This book features an easy-to-learn roleplaying game,a comprehensive Sailor Moon resource and reference section,a colour character gallery, and hundreds of Sailor Moon images.A summary of every episode in first two seasons is also included. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars It is the worst, cheapest and shoddily made book ever
I hated it. It was so stupid and cheap. As if you could not find any of these websites just by searching through Google or Yahoo. I hate it when people just try to market off stuff you can easily find

1-0 out of 5 stars Not Worth It
This is the most useless Sailor Moon book ever. All of the information can be found by using a search engine on your computer. It is not worth the money, especially since internet sites are always changing and no book can possibly list them all accurately. If you want to find websites, search with Geocities, Yahoo, or another major search engine.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not Worth It!
The sites listed in this book could be found almost anywhere else, like on a search engine. The sites listed weren't extra spectacular, either. In the name of the Moon, this author should be punished!

1-0 out of 5 stars Total Disappointment
I was very disappointed in this book. It's nothing more than a photocopied listing of websites that you could probably get through a search engine. If you really need a hard-copy of web listings, buy this book. If you don't, save the money and buy some of the manga or videos. They're more worth your money than this is.

1-0 out of 5 stars This book is worth the paper it's printed on, and that's it.
I can't believe Mr Rosen can get away with publishing and selling stuff that has been leeched and ripped from the Internet. The point of this book is to direct people to Sailor Moon material on the Internet...yet if they're on the Internet already, they can always get the latest stuff for free. Although the book says it's "Updated After Every 100 Copies Sold", that does you no good. You're already out $. That should also indicate how fast this stuff becomes out of date...especially with little Geocities sites popping up and down all the time. It might have been worth it if the book had an attractive cover and some nice illustrations throughout, but that's not the case. Don't waste your money on this cheese. There are better, more attractive, free resources online. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Welcome to Crystal Tokyo
Out of Naoko's books so far this must be the best (not including the SuperS books). In this book you're introduced to some new characters, or somewhat new... Sailor Pluto, Neo-King Endymion, Neo-Queen Serenity, and diana. Always wanted to know who Rini is? Well it's answered here. The plot line is well-laid out in the manga, much better than what they had in the anime. be prepared for many good chpts in this book: Venus vs. Avery.- Time Warp: Sailor Pluto- King Endymion... and plus a Rini special at the end! A cliff-hanger but something that makes you want to read this book many times over.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sailor Moon Manga #5 Act 17-20
This is possibly (so far!) my favorite manga in the series. This, and all the other mangas in this collection, are a must have for all Sailor Moon Fans! The Sailor Scouts' adventure continues when Jupiter is kidnapped by the Dark Moon. Serena, Mina, Darien, and Rini rush into the future, and are met by the Gaurdien of Time. In the future they encounter many troubles and finally meet the King of Crystal Tokyo. Meanwhile Diamond's obssession with Bunny is growing and is scheming to kidnapp her... it leaves me at a cliffhanger, but who cares! Also includes a 10 page short story w/ Rini, and Peaches, and some more of her friends that must battle a Vampire. Get the book! And visit my Sailor Moon page! http://www.geocities.com/moon_bunny27/

5-0 out of 5 stars The scouts travel to the future!
First chapter:
Rini steals Bunny's brooch.
Second chapter:
The scouts travel to the future and meet Sailor Pluto.
Third chapter:
Things are revealed about the future.
Fourth chapter:
Rini's Diary- A new student comes to Rini's school, but there's something weird about her.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it
This is a good volume of Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon Manga (Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon comics). The story line is where Sailor Moon kills the Ayakashi sisters after they kidnapped all her friends. Only Sailor Venus remains after being saved by Sailor Moon who killed the last sister that tried to kidnap her. Sailor Venus decides to help Sailor Moon travel to the future to save Sailors Mars, Mercury and Jupiter. On their way they are helped by the mysterious Sailor Pluto. I loved this book very much which is why I gave it 5 stars

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!
I love this Sailor Moon manga! Everythings is really cool! I especially like the manga art and the story lines! This is a MUST BUY!!!!!!! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, But gets confusing :(
Scince I am a big fan of Sailor Moon(scince 1997)I decided to get this book. But when I started to read this, I was confused. I mean this is the order of the situations:-WARNING! PARTIAL "SPOILERS"!!- Bunny and Mamo-Chan and walking ladi-ladi-la,and all of a sudden, Galaxia is taking Mamo-Chan's star seed! Then,Usagi is being pulled in by galaxia! But that part ends up being a dream! See what I mean by "confusing?" END OF "SPOILERS!" :)
Anyways,It's a good book, but gets more and more confusing, especially if you've never seen the anime. So this my advice to you: If you have never seen Sailor Stars or don't know what the plot is,either research it or don't bother reading this. But if you do, you should be able to get what's going on if you read it a couple of times.
Happy Reading and Good Luck!! ;*

5-0 out of 5 stars Ahh.. bad info in the reviews!
I'm choking here! People are saying wrong info about this book. It will always drive me nuts. ^_^ (for those who know me, yes, I've reviewed the other books too) Having the original Japanese manga... I can say these statements: 1. Her name will not be Riri when you get the book. It stays Chibichibi. (this I have from people who have gotten this book in English) 2. NO Chibichibi is not the final form of Sailor Moon, nor does the manga ever say it explicitly. That's CONJECTURE. No one knows who Sailor Cosmos is! (and no, it does not show up in this manga either) --;; And no.. she is not anyone's daughter either. (never stated) 3. This book covers the arrival of the Starlights, the leaving of Darien/ Mamoru. You get to see Princess Kakyuu as well... and Michiru angry! (It's just a classic moment). It's the set up. And some of the senshi/ scouts get taken.. ^_^ 4. red, is probably a misunderstanding of the katakana. Red and Lead in Katakana are spelled the same. Lack of research is to blame. --;; blame the editor and the translator. Yes, this is not dubbed, it's a translation. Anime is dubbed, Books are translated. Dubbed= voice. translation= words. 5. If you are going to complain about translation, then why are you spelling manga M-A-N-G-A-S? It's Manga.. whether it's 100 or 1000 or just 1, it's still M-A-N-G-A. Don't complain unless you know enough of your Japanese to back it up! 6. NO it's not Star Gentle Illusion. It's Star Gentle Uterus. Why? Maboroshi is Illusion and Illusion in katakana looks nothing like Uterus. E-ru-si-on v. E-u-te-re-su (not even close) Again, wrong accusation. Learn your katakana. Star Gentle Uterus is not stupid either. ^_^ Look up mythology stuff and you'll see why she chose it. 7. The best Sailor Moon tankoubon (or pocket Mixx) I think are 10, 14 (Supers 4), and 18 (Stars 3). Best drawn, best constructed in plot. Though some people might not get the Zen effect that she tends to put into those volumes. 8. I can support this with the fact that I'm doing a Sailor Moon manga FAQ.. which I got permission from someone who translated it and also from the CEO of Mixx.. ^_^ Ken Aromdee too.. for those who know him. (Having all 18 Japanese manga helps too.. and the majority of the Mixx versions, until I ran out of cash --;;)

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful,but sad.
This book is wonderful. In this series you find out more about the senshi's past lives. Each picture is very well drawn. Alot of the book is sad though. If you order this book I recommend you get the other 2 books also! There that good!

5-0 out of 5 stars This book is worth it!
I was hoping I'd be introduced to all the new characters and senshi in this, and of cource you are.
You might wanna buy SS4 before you purchase this, or you won't know what's going on.
We are introduced to the worst enemies so far and their leader, Queen Galaxia. Fortunately, some new scouts have come. But it doesn't help that darien or rini are gone. But wait... who's this girl chibi chibi?

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing...
The art is wonderful, and the story line is so unpredictable. It is a lot different from the StarS series, where the Scouts die when they go with Sailor Moon to meet Galaxia, but in the Manga, they die when Sailor Iron Mouse and Redbird and those other Sailor Animates attack.
Also, in the manga, Chibi-Chibi is Sailor Moon's ultimate form, only, well, mini. Also, Darien dies right in front of "Bunny's) (What kind of name is that?) eyes, but she suppresses it.
Great for kids who are mature, or at least 12. There is one innapropriate part, but the story was wonderful. When I got the first two, I love them so much I finished them both in less then 2 1/2 hours.
Buy this, you'll have no regrets. And for the ones in the US and other places waiting for the Dub of Sailor StarS, which will probably NOT come soon, buy this book. Or, go on E-bay and try to buy all of the episodes (1-200)in Japanese with subtitles, like I did. Very cheep. For all of the episodes, the five movies, three specials for Super S, the three musicals and more, I payed only $49.50.
Well, I have to go and get ready to leave for another planet. Not Mars, or somewhere like that. And I am SOOOO not lying. ... Read more
