Hop's mom is a green frog and his dad is a bull frog. His friends laugh at him because he doesn't sound like them. So, he spends much of his time hiding in the tall grasses. He feels sad because he realizes that he is different.

Hop wastes a lot of time hiding from his fears. One day he meets a wise friend. Eventually, Hop learns that being different can be a wonderful thing after all.
