This is a rare picture book, funny and intelligent in an old fashioned way. My 8 year old can't get enough of it. the pictures are perfect and the rhymes are, too. Really Special
Since receiving Mind your Manners I can't tell you how many times we've read through this great book! The details and writing are fantastic! I really like how this book presents manners and good behavior. The situations introduced are excellent! This book was very intelligently written and thought out - exceptional on many levels! Mind your Manners is a very special book in our home!

Very Creative!
Kitty in the City is such a wonderful series! There are several moments in Mind your Manners that really ring true. I think this is an excellent book for all and would certainly recommend it! Great writing and illustrations make Mind your Manners a real keeper! I just love the sensibility of this book and the way that it introduces manners. We plan to continue reading Mind your Manners often and are very much looking forward to other books in the Kitty in the City series!

Twist on parenting
This story, told through the eyes of a young girl, describes what happens when her very naughty parents get lost in the park. The child goes from one source to another asking if they have seen her very naughty - and now "very dirty" parents. Child and parents are eventually reunited. This is a fun book for children as the parents are the ones getting into trouble and the child is the one trying to keep them in line. The pictures are child-friendly and full of color. ... My four year old LOVES this book!
While Mom's doing her chores, her little son is drawing on the walls, making tents for his stuffed animals out of sheets hanging on the line and taking a bath without shutting off the water. A book with a LOT of Grace and Charm!
As an etiquette instructor who has read nearly every book on the shelf in this category, I must say that I found this delightfully illustrated story fresh and inspiring.

I think that what struck a chord with me particularly is that the characters are REAL children...in the way that they're NOT fairy princesses, Victorian school children, or living some other seemingly un-attainable lifestyle to most kids today.

It's time to take the fish forks and white gloves OUT of manners and etiquette...bringing manners into the mainstream!

Delightfully entertaining!
M Is For Manners tells of Abbey (a third grader) and her family, as they go to dinner at Sarah's house. This is a wonderful book, which can be used to teach children positive behaviors, no matter what the circumstance. The beautiful illustrations will surely entertain, but most importantly -this whimsical story will appeal to children of all ages.

I highly recommended this enchanting book as an addition for any school, reading group, community library. Although I would like to see this as required reading for pre-school's.

I received this book as a gift for my children and thought it would be just another picture book. However, I was impressed with the sense of family values that were present throughout the illustrations. It taught a good lesson about whining that the kids immediately picked up on.
