5-0 out of 5 stars i have no title-its just GREAT!!!
i think this book is the best yet. i dont own it, but thanks to my local library i check it out every time. i have 5 younger siblings, and they always want me to tell them a bedtime story.
finally i reread the story 10 times and memorized it. its a big help. i dont have to carry the flashlight into their rooms now.
i reread all of the series and now i mimorized all of them. i them all a huge 5*. i am what people call a starwars nut. i like the part whenever the rebels come in. and like others i like it that this focuses most on hoole. basicly I LOVE THIS BOOK!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great
I haven't read any of the ones after this, and this is the one when Tash uses the force to help her buddies. Doesn't DV figure out that Tash knows the Force in this one? I can't remember. Good book for people who are fans of Tash or Hoole, the other characters are squeezes in there for a part.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Edition to the Galaxy of fear series
This is truly an excellent Edition to the Galaxy of Fear series. This is amust-have for any Star Wars fans anywhere no matter what their age is.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best in the entire Galaxy of Fear series . . .
I loved this book because it talked more about Hoole than anyone else. All of the other books are mostly based on either Tash or Zak. During the whole series (I read book one first, and then all the way through book six), I had always wondered about Hoole, and his character, his past, ect. This is the book where I found the answers to my questions. This book is a true treasure that I'm glad I kept. When I bought this, I wasn't disappointed at all--and neither will you! If you don't like this book, it's probably because you're too old for it. There's no way that you can like all the other books in this series (Books 1-5; Eaten Alive, City of the Dead, ect.)and NOT like this one. This book is the best of all!

5-0 out of 5 stars I encourage kids to read this book it is excellent
For being eleven I thought this book was perfect for kids. It was so good I couldn't stop reading. In this book It keeps you waiting for what will happen next. I strongly recommend it for you. As for me I am going on to read the next Star Wars book, The Brain Spiders. Enjoy!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great plot twist
It was a very exciting book because it was a mystery and there were more than one murderers. I thought the character devolopment was very well done. The story was worked out very well and the plot had the a very interesting twist that occurred at the ending.

5-0 out of 5 stars HELPPP
I can't belive what happined In this book . Uncle hoole and zak soposledly died from a haunted library that tash found . tash is devestasted . Forceflow is not who he is soposed to be . rent this book today.

4-0 out of 5 stars Something you'll read again and again . . .
This book is a treasure to keep forever. On every page, a surprise awaits. However, I only gave it four stars instead of five. When Tash finally enters the "Jedi Library," the ghost roars at her to "GET OUT!". I do not like this line because many books and movies have that very same line. For example in the movie "The Shining," a character uses those very words. In other words, that line was lame. The line should have been in that same tone, I agree, but the actual words were . . . just too simple. Maybe John Whitman should have described the aura in the library a little more. Anyway, other than this part, the story was an excellent, well written piece.

5-0 out of 5 stars Forceflow is. . .
I really enjoyed this book. It's so cool how Forceflow turns out to be Gog! At first, I couldn't believe what I was reading. Now I see that all of those "warnings" he sent were just for keeping Tash, Zak, and Hoole from meddling in Project Starscream. This book is a definate must-have for any Star Wars fan!!

5-0 out of 5 stars awesome!
Tash, Zak, Hoole, and droid DV-9 are hiding from the evil scientist Borborygmus Gog on the legendary space station, Nespis 8. On board there are a few treasure seekers looking for a haunted Jedi Library. Tash, being interested in Jedi gets curious and goes searching for the library. But when she finds it, something very strong is telling her to get out! This is definitly a number one book! ... Read more

Book Description

Hologram Fun World. It's a theme park visited by families from all across the galaxy. It's a place where Tash and Zak can safely hang out while Hoole continues his work. It's a place where daytime fun turns into nighttime terror.

One of the park's attractions is called the Nightmare Machine. It scans your brain, then shows you your worst fears in holographic form. Hairy, creepy-crawly insects. Cyborrean battle dogs thirsting for blood. But it's not real, so it's fun--right?

Wrong.

As Zak and Tash will soon find out, nightmares can come true. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A REAL page-turner!
I love Star Wars. When I first got into the whole Galaxy of Fear book series, I wasn't sure whether or not I would like it. I ordered it(book 4), not knowing what it was even about! But when I finally DID get around to reading it(which was about a month ago) I had a hard time putting it down each time, because it was soooooo interesting! And as I put it in as my review title: The Nightmare Machine is a real page-turner!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Fascinating Ending
The ending of this book was so great that it couldn't get any better. On the last 30 pages, I couldn't stop reading. It even started to scare me. The Galaxy of Fear series is a great series that mixes in suspense with the story. I encourage anyone to read this book. It has a great plot, and is easy to read.

5-0 out of 5 stars nightmare machine

Book Description

Hoole, Zak, and Tash have come to the planet Necropolos, hoping to buy a new ship to replace the Lightrunner. Necropolos is kind of creepy--it has the biggest cemetery in the galaxy, which doesn't exactly make it much of a tourist spot. When nefarious bounty hunter Boba Fett comes into town, claiming that people he has killed in Necropolos have come back to life, Zak and Tash know something very weird is going on. Zak accepts a dare to go into the Necropolos cemetery at midnight. But maybe he should have thought twice. Just because the bodies are buried, that doesn't mean they're dead. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Greatest Book By John
If you like action and fun this is a great book to read, I got it mainly because I like Boba Fett and when I read I loved it. It's a great story about Zac and Tash and their Uncle Hoole go to a planet called Necropolis and how they get pretty mixed up with Boba and get into a bit of trouble.

5-0 out of 5 stars Book of the not so dead
Zak Tash and their uncle Hoole need a new ship. They land on Necropolis(city of the dead). Zak finaly meets a friend. But,will everything stay that way? I liked this book because I couldn't put it down to do something else.

5-0 out of 5 stars ONE OF THE BEST!!!!!!!
A great book from the best star wars series. These is a must read.

4-0 out of 5 stars An Important Contribution the SW Universe!
OK!I have problems with some of the writing here but this trilogy when combined with I, Jedi are important contributions to the SW Universe. We get Kessel, the Maw installation, Kip, adm Daala who reappears then disappears, Qui Xu, the first hint of the aftermath of Dark Empire, and more Wedge (now a critical character).I had some problem with the story like: The spirit of a dead jedi having such tremedous power, the whole idea of the Suncrusher and the studip diversion of the blob race storyline.Unlike some, I feel that some of the darkhorse comics have made important contributions the SW Expanded Universe.Dark Empire was one of them.

Han gets captured and enslaved on kessel. He meets Kip Durron and they help each other escape, but into a Maw of a forming Black Hole.Luke is trying to find Jedi for his academy, but a Dark Force spirit is threatening the students.

For those of you who plan to read the New Jedi Order books, you'll find that Kevin J Anderson has made important contributions to SW including this trilogy and the young jedi books (the YJ books are surprisingly good). ... Read more
