5-0 out of 5 stars Teletubbies Play Hide-and-Seek
My one year old daughter loves this book! It is a very delightful book. It is fun to lift the flaps on each page. She picks this book most often for me to read to her.

5-0 out of 5 stars Toddlers love this book!
This book is great for small children on several levels. I bought it when my son was a little over a year old; he's now almost two and still loves it. At first he was happy to watch the teletubbies "appear" when I lifted the flaps. Now he can do it himself! He likes to guess who's behind the flap, and can identify other items in each picture. We loaned it to his 20-month-old friend, whose parents were relieved that it entertained him for an entire 3 1/2 hour car trip.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good For Tubbie-Fanatic Toddlers
This pop-up book asks you who's hiding behind different things, with the Teletubbies being behind the first four hiding places. Then comes Noo-noo & finally all the Teletubbies are hidden. While 1 or 2 year olds who like the show will probably get some giggles out of it, the book's art work is lacking. It's pretty stale fare, especially the sky. Couldn't they have put at least one bird, or maybe the sun with the baby's face in it up there? This seems to be a rush-job to capitalize on the popularity of the tv show. Looks like it worked - the copy we have is a 5th edition. There's many other pop-up books out there that are done much better, but if your little kiddies love the Tubbies, I'm sure they'll dig this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Teletubbies Play Hide-and-Seek
My 8-month old daughter LOVES this book! It makes her laugh out loud and she already has figured out how to lift the flaps on her own when we read it! It's a cute little book for babies and toddlers. I don't mind the Teletubbies so much anymore! :-)

4-0 out of 5 stars Teletubbies play hide and seek
I know most parents cringe at the thought of the Teletubbies,me too, but my one year old loves them. In "Teletubbies Play Hide and Seek" little ones are asked to find the Teletubbies under the flaps. After just a couple of readings she understood how to wait until mommy reads the words before she lifts the flap. She also learned the word boo. It's a little word, but it's a start. You might not enjoy the Teletubbies, but it's worth it to watch your child's face light up. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars teletubbies
this is the goryest, most blood thirsty book i have ever read. i was infact scared to go anywhere alone in the dark after reading this, this haunting tale of murder and horror. its a grotesque chain saw massicar of brightly colours areials, and fuzzy tele visions. its sickening, but a brilliant read.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun!!!
We use this book at nap time. My son loves it. He seems to really enjoy the repetitiveness of this book - as each Teletubby is found and put to bed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Baby Loves It / Pretty Repetitive
This is one of those books that your child will truly love, but that you will be sort of ambivalent about. :oJ

In it, the Teletubbies repeatedly try to take a nap, only to discover that one Tubby is outside, playing. The errant Tubby comes back in, and all the Tubbies have to be sung to sleep all over again. This is repeated 4 times (once for each Tubby.) I'd recommend it, with the repetition being the only irritating part.

My 18-month-old boy loves this book, and asks to read it frequently. It's already pretty ragged from being read so much, even though we've only had it a few months.

5-0 out of 5 stars An incredible form of entertainment that kids just consume
I am a father of a 6 year old daughter and i must say that she is just extatic for this book i read it to her every night before she goes to bed and she seems to love it more and more every time. i reccomend this to all parents. no matter how old the kids are. for one thing i will also mention that i found this book addicting myself. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars My Daughter LOVES the Teletubbies!
The book is great. Strongly recommend it! My 1 yr old loves to look at the pictures!

4-0 out of 5 stars Kids Love the Teletubbies
"Teletubbies Love to Jump" is an entertaining book for parents and kids alike. With an average of 10 words per open page, toddlers don't loose interest before you reach the end of the book. The Teletubbies love eachother very much and love "Big Hugs". What a wonderful book to read with your child. Hugs all around! The drawback to this book is the illustrations. The pictures are extremely blurry and not the best quality, but still worth your while.

5-0 out of 5 stars we all jump for joy now
I have been reading this book to my two year old daughter for several months now. Last week when we went to the beach she ran in the water and shouted "Jump for Joy" - the theme of the book. Now she reads the book to me, telling me what each one of the Tellietubies are doing. And we all jump for joy, all day long. The book is great for kids who prefer to read a book themself than be read too, even at a very young age. The bright colors and simple story lend itself to enhancing the childs creative mind. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars Not very durable but my daughter loves it
This book is a simple story of the Noo Noo cleaning up after the Teletubbies using stills from the tv shows. My daughter loves the story but I have found that the flaps and the pop-up at the end is not very durable and all ripped within the first week or two that we had it. I don't think my daughter (2 years at the time) was especially rough with the pages since our [other pop up books] ...are still going strong ... I just don't think this book is as good a quality as it could be.

3-0 out of 5 stars Kids love it; no value required
This is essentially stills from the tv show, mounted with text and flaps. The flaps are big and easy for small hands to manipulate. The story is as simple as the show -- each tubby makes a mess, and the noo-noo (a vacuum cleaner with eyes) tidies up. There are only six or so page spreads. At the end, there is a center page pop up of the tubbies, affixed very poorly with a tiny bit of glue. Still, I think all children love these characters and the flaps will stay put.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 16-month-old's favorite book
At this point, most of the flaps are missing (the pop-up Teletubbies themselves were the first to go) but this book still fascinates her. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Fun!
We bought this when our son was 8 months old. He just turned 1 year and still loves it. The other morning I found him sitting on the floor, "reading" the book and laughing. We read it almost daily. It's a great size for the diaper bag!

2-0 out of 5 stars Too much Noo-Noo!
Compared to the other Teletubby books this one is not the best. Like the other smaller board books the pictures are taken from TV and are blurry and dark. Also, the story is mostly about the Noo-Noo and so not as appealing to my 10 month old. He enjoys it some but the other "tubby" books, especially the illustrated ones ("Teletubbies Like to Dance" and the lift-the-flap books) are more appealing. This one does have its size going for it! It is small enough to be handled easily by an infant.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good book for toddlers
All I can say is my 18 month old son loves this book so much, I have been known to hide it under the couch to get a break from reading it! His Grammy gave it to him two months ago and it's almost time to buy a new one, it's so torn up from being carried and read. Any book that a toddler loves that much can't be bad at all.

4-0 out of 5 stars Actually not too bad
My then- year-old daughter picked this book out from among many others at the store, even after we hid it behind some other books. For whatever reason she loves this book. The storyline, such as it is, is entertaining. Adults I think can be properly annoyed by teletubbies (e.g., "uh-oh" repeated 45 times per show) but the book is fine. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars "Enormously" cute book.
One day in Teletubbyland, something appeared...

As Po visits the other teletubbies, each of their favorite things becomes enormous when the water from the magic watering can is sprinkled on it. The enormous objects are behind the flaps, helping to build some "suspense" for the young ones. The plot is harmless and light enough that a toddler can follow it.

The book, and the flaps, are reasonably sturdy. Unless your child marinates the pages, it should provide her with a few months' enjoyment.

I rank this in the middle as far as the Tubby books goes. We've gotten more fun out of "magic flag," because it provides something the child can actually *do*.

3-0 out of 5 stars Sturdy but low content value
This book is about 8 pages long. The pictures are stills from the television show. In this volume, Po has a watering can which he sprinkles on items (ball, hat, bag) to make them "enormous." The flaps are large enough for little hands and sturdy. The story is: Po makes the items enormous and the teletubbies love their enormous items and each other, the end. Very small kids seem to like repetitous books, and this one isn't too expensive and at least the flaps will last. While the educational content of this whole series is questionable, children really seem to love these characters.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 10 month old loves the "surprise" behind the flaps!
This book is sturdy like the other board books and big enough to see the pictures really well. The flaps get worn out though, like any flap book. My son loves to see the watering can make the Teletubbies favorite things become "enormous"! The book provides patterns which are great for young children but also introduces "higher level" words such as enormous, lovely, and disappear. ... Read more

My 11 month old daughter loves to watch the teletubbies on the television , but i wanted to have her focus her attention on a book. I tryed many other books with little or no success and as a last hope i purchased teletubbies big hug. 5-0 out of 5 stars My child loves this book
We got this book for our daughter right before Halloween. It really got her interested in pumkins. She is only 17 months, but the way the teletubbies book it written, you can read it along right to her and she can follow right along with the story. It really speaks to them and their comprehension. She likes teletubbies anyway, but this really was a great book to introduce a holiday. The was her favorite book for a long time.

5-0 out of 5 stars Interactive
My 2 year old just loves Teletubbies! And being able to flip up the flaps, and play along, makes this book the book she brings to me to read most often. There is also very few words to read on any of the pages. So she doesn't make me turn the pages before I am done reading it. ... Read more

BORING!
I don't like to give bad reviews, but my daughter (25 mos.) can not sit thru this book or any Teletubbies book for that matter...she is a big book fan and loves to sit and be read to ...she loves the Teletubbies on video but these books do not entertain her..she likes seeing Lala , Po and the rest but quickly throws it aside as the story lines are too simple and too short and TOO repetitive...sometimes when I try to read them to her I feel like I am saying the same thing over and over (which I usually am!)....I ordered 4 of these books from amazon thinking she'd love them but I was wrong and honestly I can't blame her.....I suppose though for a dedicated Teletubbie fan, they are o.k....

3-0 out of 5 stars Too short
Although my kid likes it, it is too short a story for her (2-yr old) and she feels disappointed when the last page is reached so quickly. I have to read it 3-4 times to her to give her satisfaction of having see enough of Lala, her favorite TT.

5-0 out of 5 stars 22 Month Old Sleeps With This Padded Book
My 22 month old son loves the feel and size of this book. It's a nice size for little hands. He totes it EVERYWHERE. Ever see a kid cuddle a book in his sleep? I am buying extra copies because eventually, not only is he going to sleep with it and eat with it (yach), eventually it's just going to end up in the bath tub.

4-0 out of 5 stars My kids Love the Teletubbies
"Teletubbies Love to Roll" is an entertaining book for parents and kids alike. With an average of 10 words per open page, toddlers don't loose interest before you reach the last page. The Teletubbies love eachother very much and love "Big Hugs". What a wonderful book to read with your child. Hugs all around!! The only drawback I found with this book was the illustrations. The pictures are terribly blurry and not the best quality, but still worth your while.

5-0 out of 5 stars My Kid Liked It
I hate to admit it, but my boy responded well to this book. On every other page (when a Teletubbie rolls away) a Teletubbie exclaims "Uh Ohh". On the alternate pages (when they get rolled into) they exclaim "What's that". This was the first book my boy memorized. He learned on which pages to say uh ohh and on which to say what's that, and also knew to get a big hug at the end. So it was a great stepping stone to learning other books. ... Read more
