5-0 out of 5 stars Don't leave home without it!
I can't speak highly enough of this book. We got one for each of our daughters for a 15-hour car trip and they were completely entertained. There was something for everyone in this book, and we were surprised to see license plates for almost all 50 states (and some for Canada) on our journey from PA to FL. The variety of activities kept our 9-year-old and 11-year-old busy (and quiet) with plenty of activities left for future trips. Worth every cent!

5-0 out of 5 stars Interesting and Fun
I bought this for my 10 and 13 year old daughters. It kept their interest by providing lots of fun activities - even at their age!

5-0 out of 5 stars 21 and I still use it
I got this many years ago, and used it a lot. Somewhere in between now and then I lost it. I was going a trip that would require me sitting on an airplane and in the airport for a grand total of 11 hours. I bought this book. It not only kept me, but the 11 other college agepeople I was with entertained. We read each others palms and I was busy on the red-eye and not bothering people, quit the big feat for me. In addition a friend and I went on a week long car trip. We palyed many of the car games, found 42 state liscense plates (and 3 provinces), it kept us from attacking each other after four days in a car. I totally recomend this for anyone going on a trip of any length, regardless of the age.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not just for travelling, but a boredom survival kit
This book has a lot of games and fun things to do. They have so many things in one book, one hour seems to fly by to one minute. It has great techniques on how to wrap hair, and to make easy bracelets. It also has fun hand games that my brother and I like to play.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for long car rides
My 8-year-old daughter used this book on a recent 12-hour car trip. She became obsessed with finding license plates and marking them off in the book. When we returned home she brought the book to school for "share time" to show her class how many license plates she spotted (over 30). The activity pad also kept her very occupied. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game for the car!
This is a great game to have for car trips (especially the long ones)! Plus, I've found that my kids (ages 4 & 6) are even learning new items... things they didn't know before, now they do. To make it simpler though, we just made it team game, instead of indiviually. And we don't keep score (so there are no hard feelings). We just have a great time finding things together!

For family fun in the car... buy this game! It's great!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Road Trips can be fun!!
Where was this game when I was a kid? I bought this for a recent long car trip with the kids and we all had a great time playing it. Now even if we are driving thru town someone will call out items that they have found. It is entertaining for the whole family!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun Family Frenzy
I purchased this game before setting out on a cross-country trip (PA to TX and back).

We had so much fun with this game -- my husband, my teenaged son, and I. Definitely a good game for all ages!

5-0 out of 5 stars Tons of fun in the car
My husband and I went on a road trip with my in-laws (7 hours in the car) and we had a blast with this game. It really made the time fly. My nieces and nephew enjoy the game as well. They ask to borrow it everytime they take a road trip. I highly recommend this game for any one who travels. We love the share the road cards. It always shocks me when you can actually get people in other cars around you involved. The compact size is great for keeping in the glove box.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good for long trips
We found the game to be alot of fun. One caution however -- it does not scale down to the lower age children. I recommend for kids from 10 to 99! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Are We Where Yet?
Travel can be confusing (and sometimes boring) to children, but this journal can help parents deal with that! My daughter and I found this book in the Houston airport as we were browsing stores during a long layover. I bought it out of desperation (after all, it had markers and blank pages!), but it turned out to be a wonderful investment. It is a very kid-oriented travel journal, with questions, hints, and prompts to guide the young journalist through recording their trip(s). It gives you and your child something to do together while flying or at night in the hotel, and as an extra bonus, it's a great show-and-tell item when your child returns to school. I've saved the journal for my daughter's trunk, so that years from now she can read her own thoughts about Oregon and Arizona! We highly recommend this!! (One aside: smart six and seven year olds will do just fine with this journal if you work with them.)

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't leave home without it!
This travel journal is an excellent tool to capture vacation memories and relive them for a lifetime. The journal boasts brightly colored "topic" pages along with markers and stickers which allows the child's creativity to shine through in words and/or artwork. We've used this travel journal for three vacations and wouldn't leave home without it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Makes 15-hour ride fun
We have used this book for three long car trips--800 miles each way. It has provided us with a wonderful journal to look back on in later years. In addition, the games, activities, and songs in the book help make a long car ride fun. I just bought four more to give as gifts. This book is wonderful for anyone, not just kids.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great travel journal for kids!
I bought 2 of these journals for my 2 kids to take on a recent cross-country trip to visit relatives. The journals have a page to record what happens each day, plus a whole section of travel games. The kids had fun writing in their journals every day, and now we can look back and remember all the fun we had! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Too short
This book is supposed to have Thousands of Miles Worth of Hands-On Games and Activities, and yet it is only 18 pages long. This book'll last you for less than 100 miles before you get bored of it, I reccomend Kids Travel instead.

5-0 out of 5 stars Dont read this reveiw!
Its one of my favorite books. It gives me hours of interactive entertainment. Stories, board games, contests, logic, and more. I think kids aged 7-12 would enjoy this

5-0 out of 5 stars Its Good!
A hands-on activity book that even amazed me! From intriguing logic puzzles to spine-tingling surprizes. Fun games for the whole family.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great Book, but not quite enough to do...
I like the book a lot! All the games they have in there are really fun, but can get boring after awhile. They should've put in more games, or at least make the games a little more interesting. All in all it's a well designed book, sturdy, durable and all the pieces are well contained!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun! Fun! Fun!

5-0 out of 5 stars If you like Kate, then the book is for you.
This book is a great view of the behind the scene Kate Moss, as well as top photos from some of the most celebrated photographers on the planet. The diversity of images as only Kate can pull off. She does nudity or full blown fashion dress like no other. She isn't just another face, she is THE face. The photos in the book are of surprising quality for the cost of it. I recommend this book for all Kate fans, and all fans of great photography.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent pictures of one of the greatest models.
I really enjoyed this book and think that anyone who is interested in fasion or modeling should look at it because it is wonderful picturs and because Kate is such a goodmodel she can look good in a variety of styles.Kate moss can easily change her look from grunge to glamour. This book contains some of the best pictures of Kate Moss I've ever seen.

5-0 out of 5 stars sensational!
kate: the kate moss book is the best retrospective of kate moss's work up until 1995, when it was released. it's packed with images of kate from birth to the age of twenty-one. there are pictures shot at home, by the papparazi, and for magazines and clothing companies. the book includes many never-before-seen photos of kate, especially those taken by corrine day of the face magazine between 1989 (when kate was only fifteen) and 1992. there are nudes, glamour shots, and pictures of kate doing what she is best at, being herself. there are also photos of fellow supermodels christy turlington and naomi campbell. basically, this book is phenomenal and if you can buy it, i strongly recommend you do.

5-0 out of 5 stars A BEAUTIFUL BOOK
To celebrate her 21st birthday, supermodel Kate Moss published a collection of her own favourite modelling photos in the book Kate. Dispelling an unjust myth that the body-beautiful people have nothing much up top, Kate was actively involved with the project, overseeing every stage of the book from conception through proofing stages until the book signing blitz on publication day. She has also written a witty and perceptive introduction outlining her reasons about publishing the pictorial autobiography. I was lucky enough to interview Kate at her luxurious London hotel where I found the down-to-earth British girl to be friendly, sincere and utterly charming. And without any of the airs and graces often associated with stars thrust into the spotlight at such a young age. Here's what Kate told me about her book...
Did the publishers want her to have more editorial input in addition to the introduction and picture captions?
'I'm sure they would have wanted more biographical material, but I just wanted pictures. At my age [an autobiography] would be just slightly premature. I see the concept on another level: as a retrospective, not necessarily of my work, but of six years of changing fashions, and the work of some of the best photographers in the business.'
Did she feel lucky to have, what in effect, is a record of her life in pictures - almost like a photo album?
'It's really nice. My friend said that it's such a nice thing to have of your friend. I wouldn't mind having books of all my friends. I'll be proud to show mine to my children.'
Would she like to write an autobiography one day?
'No, not yet. Maybe when I'm an old lady of 70 or even 80. The only writing I've ever done is in my journal. When I'm on planes I like to jot down how I'm feeling at the time. I travel a lot and I like to document my impressions of different countries and cultures. And, of course, I was famous when I was younger for writing love letters! I wrote lots but only ended up sending a few of them. I would open the envelope and re-read them, and think, "I'm not sending that!" How I cringe at the memory of them now.'

5-0 out of 5 stars Incredible
I loved it, it's fantastic. I'm a big fan of Kate and never before have I seen a more complete and extraordinary scrapbook of Kate's pictures. Kate is without a doubt the most beautiful woman that has ever posed for the camera. A must have for true Kate Moss fans. ... Read more

52 Fun Things to Do on the Plane is from a card deck series designed to inspire creativity and offer an alternative to the idiot box (see 52 Great Books to Read and 52 Special Traditions for Family and Friends). This particular deck, small enough to tuck into a purse or backpack, is aimed at families on the go, and includes games and activities for kids of all ages. Each card shows an illustration together with the name of an activity; the flip side has instructions. For example, one card suggests starting a round-robin story about a trip: "With another person, start telling a story about taking a trip. After a little while, let the other person continue the story and then a little later, you can continue again." The suggestions are perfect for situations in which movement is limited and you have time to wile away. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The best educational gift you can give.
This is an excellent gift to give to others. I give the cards individually when I write thank you letters or send words of encouragement. I also use them as an educational tool with high school and middle school student leaders. If you work with people or youth, buy a set of these cards.

2-0 out of 5 stars It is a Deck of Cards.
This is not a book. It is a deck of 52 playing cards. I'm incredibly organized, so I don't have a problem keeping them together but...how are you going to find this tiny box when you need it? And how much information can you fit on a card? Not much.

The ideas are ...so-so. Not very interesting. This is supposed to be for ADULTS, yet they give ideas for things like fingerpainting, playing with play doh, Pin the Tail on the Donkey and other kids games...I'm with my kids all day doing that stuff! When I'm with my friends, no thanks.

Because its a standard size deck of cards, there is very little room to write. So, they give you an idea but there are no instructions. If you aren't good at improvising and don't want to put a lot of thought into implementing the ideas here that you happen to like, don't bother because there is no help in this box for you! I have all the Amazon game books. This one I just don't care for.

5-0 out of 5 stars Lots of good advice!
These cards are filled with good ideas and reminders of what it takes to find the right person. It's easy to get into a rut but these cards have ideas on how to get out of the house more and hopefully put yourself in a situation where you'll meet someone. These cards are well worth the money to give yourself a boost especially if you've been out of the dating scene for awhile.

1-0 out of 5 stars A *COMPLETE* waste of money ... What a ripoff!
This was the worst waste of money I ever spent. All of the short, simple "tips" are self-explanatory; I can't even imagine anyone over the age of 9 not already knowing them. Unless you spend most of your spare time mugging people, I can't imagine that it would add anything to your life. I would very strongly suggest that you save your money and skip this one. YUCK!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great informational book
It appears this another great card series which was just published. I'm glad I got mine right away. I wish it were in the form of a book instead of cards, but nevertheless, the cards are great. They illustrated, well written and easy to follow. They offers many tips on how to pamper yourself in ways I never even dreamed about. The best part is that they're all affordable. It covers everything from spoiling yourself with foods, applying home remedies to your body for sofe and silky skin and hair, to steam baths and pedicures. There's lots more. I thought the little cards were great. You don't need to be rich, famous, or spoiled to treat yourself to a little (or a lot) of pampering. These cards prove that. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars It's a place to start.
I've lived in the Seattle area almost all my life. I spent 10 years working in downtown. I feel I really know the area. However, in looking for a book to give me ideas of what to do with my kids playing tourist in Seattle this one didn't help. I'm now looking for another book to inspire me in planning out a full week. If you were a kid from out of state wondering what your parents were getting you in for, this book would be okay. Other than that, it's not really that helpful in planning a vacation.
