After an intense trip to Coventry Island, Cam and Alex are back in Marble Bay, and things are back to normal...or so it seems. One of the Six-Pack--Cam's group of bffs--is suddenly displaying some weirdly witchy powers. And a shady stranger in town is out to put a stop to all things magickal--and that includes the twins. Who is this creepy witch-hunter...and will the girls be able to thwart his twisted plan in time? ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Twitches
This book is o.k but it fucoses on Cam a unrealistic made to be perfect charcter. In this series most of them do center on Cam even though it is supposed to be equal between the twins Alex and Cam. Cam has no flaws and shallow as I said before but Alex is real and a fun, spunky charcter another to enjoy is Ilena a fiery blond in a gray area. The story is about how their is a mortal who goes around killing witches because he was a failed protecter. at this point it contridicts itself because in the earliar book Kindred Spirits it makes Sersee sound weak but in this one it makes her sound like a powerful witch. The love between Ilena and Brice Stanley ( a thantos sympathiser and movie star) thickens.)

5-0 out of 5 stars Twins. Witches. Exactly. T*Witches Rock!
This book is great. It continues the story of two teenage witches separated at birth, and brought together again at the age of 14. this has to be my personal favorite in the series. i was really suprised when one of the Six-Pack members has a new secret about herself. An old flame of my fav. caracter Alex comes back into the story, while Cam's leaves (not for good). Once again, the "Coventry Mom" and the "Police Officer Ileana" return, along with Lord Thantos and Sersee, leader of the Furies. This is a great read. It took me half and hour to read its 145 pages. Until the last word, it has you "hanging on" for more. This is a book that would keep older readers hanging on (like myself)!

5-0 out of 5 stars Be-twitching!
After waiting for what seemed like forever for the eigth installment of T*Witches to come out, I finally got it today. Three hours later, I am definitely glad I bought the book. In this story, someone is hunting witches. Cam and Alex stop the hunter from getting Brice, the famous actor-warlock. The T*Witches are also getting more powerful in this book. Family secrets are revealed. Two very important women regain some, if not all, of their powers. One of Cam's friends turns out to be a Sensitive, and a very special boy to Alex is returning to Marble Bay. I definitely recommend this book to any T*Witches fan.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Stick-To-The-Book EVER!!!
This book is so facinating. There is so much mystery, and it keeps you guessing. I loved it because it kept me reading until the very end of the book. I read the whole thing in one day! It's that good. (Also I am a fast reader...it's not short. In fact, it's just the right length.) This is definitely the best book I've read in a while!

5-0 out of 5 stars great book in the series!!
this book was really great even thought its kinda short. alex and cam have discovered that someone known as the Witch Hunter is hunting down witches and warlocks within marble bay including brice stanley. they must find out who it is and they also discover one of their friends is developing powers of her own. this book was great but it needs to be more longer. excellent book tho in the series!!! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Fantasy
A Review by Colton

Two identical twins Barry and Harry krasner, Harry is a rough kind of guy who is athletic and in the story he makes a suggestion to watch over there uncles empty farm. Harry who is very different he is gentle and sensitive he thinks, sure why not hoping that they would become close more like brothers instead of rivaling friends or enemies. The people who live near the farm house stay away because there is something scary and chilling about that old abandoned farm house. There is a shed that is locked on there property and they think all these creepy feelings are coming from there what they find in side is crazy and

I love the phrase on the front "it's not just a play house it is a portal into terror."
And it's not a play house it is a shed I hate that when people do dumb things like that.
And it was really interesting.

You should read this book and find out what is in that locked shed it will surprise you

4-0 out of 5 stars Sleator's singular ability
While not a great work of literature, "Singularity" is still very much worth reading. The idea of a sort of reverse black hole is an interesting departure from more typical science fiction plot elements, but the most interesting part of the book is its depiction of Harry's relationship with his brother and how it changes as Harry matures. The step that Harry takes reminds the reader of the character in Chekhov's short story, "The Bet," who does much the same thing, although from

different motives. Sleator's description of Harry's life while he is carrying out his plan is convincing; the reader knows how Harry feels, and the change in Harry's character seems natural and inevitable rather than forced. All in all, I find this book to be one of Sleator's most memorable, which means, of course, that is is one of the more memorable of modern books for young people.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Book For Sci-Fi Readers
For all the sci-fi fans out there in search of a good book, I strongly recommend this book to all of you (if you are not a sci-fi fan I still recommend this book to u). This book has is just typically meant for sci-fi readers because this has all the requirements for it being a successful sci-fi book. The book is simply just an awesome book to read because the author, William Sleator is cool guy. He is very clever in making different sci-fi books. I mean he as actually created theories that make sense. Like in this book he has actually created a theory of some sort of abandoned shack or shed that speeds up time, when inside of it. The reason behind this "time warp" is because that shed lies on some sort of black hole.
Another aspect that Sleator Created are the feelings and personalities of the main characters of the book of this book is the feelings and personalities of the main characters in this book. The two main characters are twins, Harry and Barry. Their personalities are completely opposite. Barry is the strong, athletic, and bossy one while Harry is the smart, weak and sensitive one. Barry being the stronger always bosses and bullies Harry around. This makes you feel sympathetic towards Harry because of the way he feels about his brother. For example he is sick of being the weaker one or he wishes that he wants them to be more like brothers than rivals. BUT all of this changes when Harry decides to hide/stay in that mysterious shed over night. I recommend all readers especially sci-fi readers to read this book because throughout the book there are many twists and the ending is quite surprising. Also I recommend read other books done by Sleator because them too are just as good as this book

5-0 out of 5 stars William sleator is a genious
Well im am not so young as most other readers, i am 19. I have been a fan of william sleator since i was 14. once I was searching for a book, entitled the boy who reversed himself, which i tought had an interesting name. I found the whole william sleator series of books. This guy is a genious and his theory of 4th dimensional space and chaos theory are just brilliant. The way he writes it, into a childs novel is breathtaking. i can't get enough its crazy and it make me think, i hope he would visit my college one day.
sincerely Jake

3-0 out of 5 stars Singularity
This book wasn't the best chunk of writing i've ever read but it was somewhat suspenceful and interesting. There are these two twin brothers that fight all the time and thier uncle dies. They go to his house to start claiming stuff and find the keys to a play house. After a while they figure out that there is a stone under it that makes time go faster for anything that stands on it and theres an event horizon to a blzck whole some where in space..in the sink. The slightly fatter and out of shape twin goes in the playhouse for a year, overnight because he's 1.tired of being twins and 2.is tired of his brother being so much more "perfect". (...)

If you like science/science fiction theories and fueding brothers this is a book for you. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The thrilling second book in the T*Witches series.
Fourteen-year-olds Camryn and Alexandra discovered they were identical twin witches, separated at birth, by accident. But fate has conspired to keep them together, as they discover that together their powers are stronger than apart. Now that Alex's adoptive mother has died, she has been given a home with Cam's wealthy adoptive parents in Marblehead, Massachusetts. Alex, raised in poverty in rural Montana, feels out of place among her sister's friends and classmates. Not only that, but they have received a warning from their guardian, Ileana, that a minion of Thantos's has entered their lives, disguised as a friend. Now their very lives are in danger, if they do not find out who that person is. Cam suspects Cade, the new boy that Alex has a crush on. Cade does seem to be hiding a secret, but could he really be evil, and planning to hand the twins over to Thantos? All readers who enjoyed the first book in the T*Witches series will want to read this one. I can't wait until the third book, Seeing is Deceiving, is released.

5-0 out of 5 stars An unknown enemy....
Cam and Alex have learned the truth about their pasts, and who their real parents are. Alex, who has had to move from her place since her mother died, is learning to adjust to Cam's school and her house, but tensions within her are rising for her mother's death. But it seems that the evil Thantos, who murdered their real parents, is out to get them again -- either to use their powers for evil, or destroy the twins. They know Thantos has sent a messenger to get them, only they don't know who this messenger is -- they can't suspect everyone they meet. But there's the lure of Cade, the new kid at school, he seems to be very secretive. Cam and Alex need to get to the bottom of the mystery, if they can survive the evil that surrounds them -- and the forces conspiring to get them. T*Witches #2: Building A Mystery is a great second book in this magical new series. I thought the first book was a little dull, but the second book was very exciting -- and kept me turning the pages throughout.

5-0 out of 5 stars This book keeps you on the edge of your seat.
From seventh grader Stacey: When Apolla and Artmeis, aka Cam and Alex, were born, their father was killed by his own brother. Tantos, their uncle, knows how powerful their power is and wants to take advantage of them. They are put into separate homes in which Illana and Karsh, their protectors, will keep them safe. The twins finally meet a few months before their 15th birthday, and their power is unreal. They are very powerful but are they powerful enough to beat Tantos?

5-0 out of 5 stars So much to sort out.
Cam's friends having trouble adjusting to having Alex tag along with the six pack. Life's not back to normal Cam's bro having a new friend yet his mom blames alot on Alex like his new hair style. Cute guy Alex likes Jasoin still with Cam. Three suspects causing the twins trouble. Beth and Cam are drifting apart because of Alex. Hope life becomes normal soon.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Book
This was a great book, I'v read all the others in the series but this was my favorite. In this book Cam and Alex learn a lot more
about their past and their parents. Cam and Alex bond in this book, but Cam has problems with her best friend Beth. Alex isn't really in contact with Luce and Eric. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great chapter book with good, clean fun!
The classic tales of the Bobbsey twins follow the daily life adventures of a family that has two sets of twins, one older and one younger. My 5 year old twins love these books, and we read a chapter or more to them each night. The end of each chapter has a good cliff-hanger to pique interest in the next chapter. Also, the stories are exciting and positive in nature. We started reading these chapter books when my children were 4, and they are perfect for their attention span and interests. I highly recommend them.

5-0 out of 5 stars This book was great
I loved this book. It told a lot of things I had been wondering about. If you have not read any of the other books though it would not be good to start. This book is about the twins Cam and Alex. They are 15 years old and are completly diffirent.Alex is the one with the cool hair. Cam is the one with the shoulder length natural hair. They are really powerful witches. If you haven`t read them I won`t tell you any more.

5-0 out of 5 stars Special Edition-Split Decision
So far I have read the "Exclusive sneak peek into the world of Coventry and magick" and 166 pages of the book. It is really good so far. I love this series. The more I read it the more it influences me to be a better writer. It makes me think. And I like knowing the characters I feel like I know them cause of how well they are written.

5-0 out of 5 stars split decision
This was my favourite book yet. It includes humour adventure and of course a good plot line. It is well written. I particularly enjoyed it as it was more exciting than past books. If you haven't read the other books in the series, however, I would strongly recommend reading numbers one through eight first, it will be easier to understand.
This book was definitely among my favourite books of all time. The details form an excellent mental depiction, particularly those describing the changes in characters.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very enjoyable!
This is the first book in Jane Yolen's Tartan Magic trilogy about three American children visiting Scotland, who get a lesson in magic. In this book, the thirteen-year-old twins Jennifer and Peter, and four-year-old Molly discover a worthless old map. But, when Molly colors on the map, she inadvertently releases an evil wizard of great power, Michael Scot. And now, it's up to Jennifer, who possesses a magic she didn't know she had to set things right!

My thirteen-year-old daughter first introduced me to these books, and I must say that I enjoy them as much as she does. Jane Yolen does an excellent job of bringing Scotland to life for the American reader (please remember that there is a Scottish glossary at the back!). In general, the author does not spend too much time on character development (outside of the children and their grandmother, the characters are very two-dimensional), but for many young readers, this will not prove a problem.

So, let me just say that my daughter and I both enjoyed this book, and we highly recommend it to you!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great book for kids!
I found this book in my daughter's school library, and decided to give it a try. I'm sure its a great book for impatient young readers. As an adult used to complex and sometimes drawn-out books, this story felt a bit like the skeleton of a story ready to be fleshed out. But it was still a very good story. My husband and I both enjoyed it. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

5-0 out of 5 stars A new story in an old tradition!
This wonderful story is one of three (so far) chronicling the adventures of three American children on vacation in Scotland, visiting their grandparents. However, before long, the children realize that magic is real in Scotland, and their grandmother is a potent witch. But, magic is not all fun and games, and before they know it the children find themselves facing the wrath of a powerful and ancient sorcerer, Michael Scott. And now it is up to 13-year-old Jennifer to find the magic in herself to defeat Michael Scott, and defend her family!

This is a great story, harkening back so clearly to ancient folk stories. I especially liked the traditional idea of women as possessors of ancient wisdom and power, beyond men and their science, powerful and yet healing in nature. This is a great book that I recommend to everyone with children, especially girls.

5-0 out of 5 stars The place where magic is real
"Wizard's Map" is the first of the delightful Tartan Magic books, a series about magic and mystery in a small village in Scotland. Currently numbering three, I hope these books don't stop anytime soon.

The Dyers arrive in Scotland -- the parents, thirteen-year-old twins Peter and Jennifer, and their little sister Molly. They're staying with Gran and Da, an elderly couple who were once surrogate parents to their mother; Gran and Da seem a little weird but very nice. The same can be said of the house: A card game finishes itself without Peter, and Molly finds a magical piece of paper in the "actic" and scribbles on it.

Upon seeing the paper, Gran is aghast, claiming that it's the map of the seemingly long-dead wizard Michael Scot. The others are, unsurprisingly, skeptical since the map is written in modern English and shows modern landmarks. But the next day, nearby wheat fields have been hit with crop circles -- crop circles that look exactly like Molly's scribbles. And on a sightseeing trip, a mysterious black-haired man simply vanishes into thin air -- with Molly. Scot is back, and he wants the map.

Don't be fooled by the short length of this book. It's packed with excellent characterization, fast writing, and a charming, chilling plot. Yolen demonstrates her excellent skills at writing yet again, and she's in top form here.

The characters, except for the parents (who aren't really around enough to make much of an impression): Gran and Da are great, especially Gran. Molly is a thoroughly believable tot, with all the irritation and cuteness that that implies; Peter and Jennifer are great counterparts to one another, similar but not alike. (That would be boring, and it isn't boring)

Yolen's writing is nicely descriptive, and the aura of anything-could-happen is heavy on this book. Such events as the dragon, unicorn and dog are introduced in an especially evocative way, as is the showdown with Scot. From the moment the kids meet Gran and Da, you get the distinct impression that this wee corner of Scotland is magical.

For fans of Susan Cooper's "Boggart" books, and mythology-laden tales like "Wild Hunt," this would be a great read. On to "Pictish Child"!

4-0 out of 5 stars The Wizard's Map
I liked The Wizard's Map because it was mysterious at times. I wanted to finish this book to find out if Jennifer could get her family back. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars COOL BOOK
This book is great! It is mainly about two brothers, one a great athlete, one handicaped. They are twins and can communicate through ESP. There friend then tells them about TEC, which is where you switch bodies. The handi- caped brother is in his brothers body. They can switch back when they want too. This book is THILLING!

5-0 out of 5 stars A sports-fiction about the disabled
The Great Quarterback Switch, by Matt Christopher, is a book about a boy named Michael, who is physically disabled. Michael is stuck in a wheelchair the rest of his life. He has a twin brother Tom, who plays football. Michael goes to every game, wishing he could play. One day, the twins meet their next door neighbor. Ollie Prutte is pretty old. He believes in mental telepathy. Ollie tells the boys instructions on how to do telepathy, from what he knows. At Tom's next football game, it happens, the telepathy works!! This book, a sports-fiction book, is great for young sports readers. The author, Matt Christopher, is presently living in Rock Hill, South Carolina with his wife, Cay. He has written more than thirty sports novels for children.

One reason why readers like this book is because I love sports books and Matt Christopher is really good at writing for kids. A really good scene is when, on the second game of trying telepathy, it works and Michael scores two touchdowns. Another reason why readers enjoy this book is because Matt writes books so that it makes it seem real-life, not fiction. He is a great writer. ... Read more

Gilly Hopkins is a determined-to-be-unpleasant 11-year-old foster kidwho the reader can't help but like by the end. Gilly has been in the foster system all her life, and she dreams of getting back to her (as she imagines) wonderful mother. (The mother makes these longings worse by writing the occasional letter.) Gilly is all the more determined to leave after she's placed in a new foster home with a "gross guardian and a freaky kid." But she soon learns about illusions--the hard way. This Newbery Honor Book manages to treat a somewhat grim, and definitely grown-up theme with love and humor, making it a terrific read for a young reader who's ready to learnthat "happy" and "ending" don't always go together. 4-0 out of 5 stars The Great Gilly Hopkins
To: Miss Gadrial Hopkins
From: Courtney Hopkins

Believe me Katharine Paterson was right when she said, "everyone needs a family and a place to call home."She meant it when she wrote the book The Great Gilly Hopkins.
The Great Gilly Hopkins was written by Katharine Paterson and is about 150 pages long. It's also a short read. The book has won a Newberry honor award and is great for grades 4-8.
The book The Great Gilly Hopkins is a book filled with plenty of attitude along with caring and forgivingness among all of the characters. I personally think this book is enjoyable and very descriptive because you could picture it all in your head. I also thought Gilly was a bit moody but it was probably caused by the uncaring or what she thought was lousy foster parents. In some parts of the story people need anger management. This book is about a girl named Gilly who has been home to home around the state but can't get along in any of the foster homes .Gilly misses her mom and wants to leave Mamie M Trotter's house to find her but leaving was just a plan. What happens to Gilly after that? It's a total secret. All Gilly ever wanted was to be wanted, and too brought in on the circle of love.
Believe me in this book there are plenty of moods and attitudes to go around, I loved how Gilly presented herself with an uncooperative attitude. An example of that would be when she said "see trotter I managed." and "god Agnes, keep that big mouth of yours shut!" I liked how Gilly had feelings deep inside that she doesn't show. an example would be when it said "the word mother triggered a pain in the pit of her stomach". And lastly would be how Miss Eliss was trying to make Gilly seem proper and nice in front of her foster parents. Like when she said "do me another favor Gilly get rid of that wad of gum and try to get a comb through your hair".
Another topic I would like to discuss is the way the author described everything. One would be how she described Mrs. Trotter "when the door opened a huge hippopotamus of a woman filled all the door space". Another description would be how they described Mr. Randolph "a small wrinkled man with whitish blue eyes opened the door". The last thing was how they described Mrs. Trotter's house "with a dirty white fence the house it penned was old and brown with a front porch that gave it sort of a potbelly".
To really summarize my opinion on this book I would just like to say it was so funny how everyone had an attitude but yet was so nice and open at the same time.
If you are the kind of person who has an attitude or has a smart mouth I think you will find Gilly's character funny. If you think you family is mean and your parents aren't fair you can learn a lesson that will probably be important.
I highly recommend this book to anyone. It has so many things to tell you, it is just so great! So I hope you take some time out of your day to pick up Katharine Paterson'sThe Great Gilly Hopkins.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Great Gilly Hopkins
I reviewed the book The Great Gilly Hokins by Katherine Paterson. This book deserved five stars because it had a lot of detail about the characters. This book was about a girl who was adopted and went with a very nice family with a mom, a dad, and a brother. A problem that occurred in this book was Gilly did not know which family to live with. Her real mother came to see her and wanted her to live with her. I would recommend this book to other people because it was funny and also sad at the same time. I would also recommend other books by Mary Paterson because they are all great.

This was a good book.Gilly lives in foster homes and is moved to a new foster home. She is very stubborn and just wants to go live with her mom. While she is in this foster home, she starts out being mean.As she gets to know the people, she starts to have feelings for them. She really changes throughout the book. This book made me laugh, but it also made me feel sad.I don't want to say how it ends, I think you should read it for yourself to find out.

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely wonderful!
This is one of the best (if not THE best) book I have ever read in my entire life! I read it for my Children's Literature class, and I could not put it down. I devoured it in a few hours, becoming completely engulfed and almost addicted to the characters and the story. I fell in love with these characters in such a short period of time, theres no wonder why Gilly did the same. I will say however, it is not a children's book and I do not understand why it is on any list for children. I thought that I would be bored reading a book for children considering I am a junior in college, but the material is quite mature and deals with very deep issues.

It's wonderful! Truly a beautiful story. I recommend it for mature teens and older, considering the issues and the language.

As well, he must bolster the endurance of the often doubting and disgruntled Manth people.Bowman is torn between his attraction to Sisi, a former princess, and his destiny, as he perceives it, to sacrifice himself for the good of the people. This is the satisfying and profound ending to the trilogy, which began with The Wind Singer, winner of the coveted Smarties Prize in England. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars SPECTRUM Children's Book Club Recommendation
Reading Level: Young Adult

The final book of the Wind on Fire trilogy is firesong. Unlike the gap between books one and two, Firesong begins only a short time after the fateful events in the Mastery. The rich literary heritage of this story continues as the Manth people, lead by the Hath family, embark on their epic exodus from slavery as they wander the wastelands of a disintegrating world, in search of their homeland and safety. It is an odyssey that has challenges of character and trials of trust and faith worthy of biblical or classical Greek heros.

After reading the three books I have modified my view about the lack of depth to the main characters. I never felt the humanity of Bo or Kestral in the same way as I felt for say, Harry Potter or Lyra, the heroine of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. But then, the Hath family is cut from a different mold. They are descendents of mythic heros like Moses, Hercules, Oedipus, and Sir Gawain. In the end, The Wind on Fire is about deeds, choices, and fate.

If your child likes this story, I would serve well as a springboard into re-tellings of other classic epics like The Iliad, The Odyssey,or the Knights of the Round Table.

5-0 out of 5 stars Now THAT is a good book!
Ok im only 13 years old and it wasnt a struggle to read at all. I cant write very good rewievs, so make sure you read all the other ones written by intelligent and extremely helpful people. I just want to say if you are thinking of buying this book go RIGHT AHEAD! i guarantee you will not be dissapointed. The characters are all brilliant. I have written books myself but i have never got so involved witht he characters emotions and feelings before. It even made me cry- which i dont often do. I keep reading it again and again and again. Im still not bored of it just sad that it's ended.I rate this book a well deserved 5 out of 5! It is extremely gripping, adventurous and jam packed with stuff. PLEASE read it, especially if you have read the other two in the trilogy. If you like teen books like artemis fowl, his dark materials ect you will LOVE this. It is even better! The ending isn't absolutely great as it is a bit soppy but who cares??? Its... its... its...amazing! INGENIOUS!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, Cruel, Undying
This book is insane.

There's no point trying to read the third book without the first two, because they build to the beauty of the trilogy. Actually, I read the first book in fourth grade when I was nine and I loved it because it was funny and awe-inspiring. Last year, at age eleven, I remembered the first book and I came here to buy the other do, impulsively. The second book was not immature. Each scene was beautiful in its own way, with titles like "Terror at Dawn" that were very symbolic in deeper ways. You started to see the beauty of Kestrel and Bowman's connection and how much they needed each other. The action wasn't what turned me on about the book, but the pure beauty of what was happening. The third book was a great ending. The Wind of Fire was so beautiful it made me cry. You must find out what that is.

One word to describe this book: beautiful.

WHERE BROOKLYN AT!

5-0 out of 5 stars Firesong
This book is one of the best books i have ever read.
It is an adventure and there is always something happening in it, so its one of those books that you can't put down!
The main characters in it are Kestrel and Bowman who can talk to each other through there minds.
Bowman and Kestrel are together all the time but sometimes they do get split up.
Their mother Ira Hath saw a vision of her homeland and throughout the book the hole family and a few friends are trying to reach it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book!
We have enjoyed this trilogy very much, and highly recommend it. Very imaginative, and keeps kids interested in reading more. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A nice story, I guess
I love the Olsen twins. I think they are really cool. But the plot of this book is only pretty good.
Roxy and Jane Ryan are twins (duh) whose mom is dead. They don't really like each other. One Friday, intellectual goody-goody Jane heads to New York to make a speech that could get her a scholarship to Oxford University, her dream school. On that same day, rocker Roxy heads to New York to get to a Simple Plan video shoot so that she can get her band a record deal.
They go there, and disaster strikes. They have to get three new outfits, they almost get killed, Roxy practically gets arrested, and (duh) they fight. A lot. But in the end, everything works out great.
A fun read, but nothing you can even try to sink your teeth into. Read it if you're aged 8-11 and a girl. But if you're not, there is zero chance of this interesting you.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great start to a new series!
What a great start to Mary-Kate and Ashley's newest series! Their books are always good. After reading this one, I just had to keep buying the series. I still am.

Anyway, in this book Mary-Kate is trying to impress her crush, Jake Henna. She gets him, and Ashley is disappointed that Mary-Kate is spending so much time with Jake she can't think about planning their Sweet 16, so Ashley takes on the task by herself. But Ashley is after a guy herself - Ben, a boy she met at a party. Will they find sparks? Will Mary-Kate come back to earth to plan the party?

Read Never Been Kissed and find out!

5-0 out of 5 stars I loved this book!
This book was about Mary-Kate and Ashley planning their Sweet 16. They can't seem to agree on anything, from the theme to how formal it will be to the location to whether it will be boy-girl or all girls. The boy-girl issue causes a problem when Mary-Kate wants to invite her boyfriend but they have decided on a girl-power theme. Mary-Kate and Ashley want their Sweet 16 to be perfect, but can they work past the many obstacles?

This book surprised me. I was expecting it to have no plot and be slightly boring, but I decided to read it anyway and I'm glad I did. It's a little stupid sometimes, but in a fun way, not a bad way. And it actually has a lot more plot than most of their other book series and their movies. I recommend this book to all fans of Mary-Kate and Ashley, and even if you don't like Mary-Kate and Ashley you might like this book anyway, because it is better than most of their other stuff.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool!
It looks like everyone's favorite twins are planning their biggest birthday party! Well, that is until everything starts to go wrong. It ends on a cliffhanger, but that is quickly followed by the 2nd book.
The Sweet 16 series is great for chilling out!
This is mainly suited to both fans and non-fans aged between 8 and 14. It's harmless fun and great reading. Okay, so maybe their lives seem a bit perfect and this book doesn't have an action-packed storyline but so what?
It's got nothing to do with the Olsens themselves (apart from the names, and a reference to their personalities) and it's cool for reading just before sleeping. It doesn't lack storyline and it's fairly humorous too. Cool!
Mary-Kate and Ashley can do no wrong! I urge you to read this new series! The first three books rule and the next ones are good too!
Go, MKaA! (Will I be invited to the party?)

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT
