OK book, not worth more than $70-80
An OK book which covers lots of procedures, however one could NEVER get a thorough understanding of any of the procedures by reading this book. Each complex operation is way oversimplified into 4-5 basic drawings. An atlas should be a thorough description of a procedure, complete with pearls, indications, pre-op/post-op guidelines, and a thorough description with comprehensive drawings of the operative steps- this doesn't even come close. ... Must have book
Extraordinary book for the residents in training. It`s very complete and at the same time quite concise. It`s a Must have book not only for the ophtalmologist in training but for all the doctors related to the visual health and ophthalmology field, specially in the emergency room.

wells eye manual
As an optometrist in practise for 25 years, I try to update my desk reference collection regularly. A new young associate recommended this manual,and he was right. Its compact, comprehensive, alphabetically-organzied format makes it easy to use and good browsing material for the rare quiet moment at the office. As well it keeps me current. I think this is a great buy.

The Wills Eye Manual is a wonderful quick reference tool for the eye care professional. The sections on various conditions are concise and to the point. The only weakness in this book is that it isn't all inclusive, and is light on uveitis. I truly think this is one book on vision/ocular disease that doctors and staff shouldn't be without. ... A must read for the oral boards
This book is a real gem for any trainee in ophthalmology. I read it initially as a medical student, and then again for the oral boards. Without a doubt, this is the most concise book for the orals, and many of the questions that I was asked were well reviewed by the authors of this book. It made my orals a snap!

A solid, unique reference book.
This book is unique among the myriad of ophthalmology texts. It is in the form of question and answer. I find that retention of relevant information compliments this approach. Reading in this style is pleasurable. This is one book I do not regret purchasing.
