A text to keep chairside at all times!
This text is one to keep chairside at all time! It is easy to use and cuts right to the chase. Most patients today are on multiple drugs and it is hard to keep up with the names, uses, general and oral side effects, interactions, etc. But this text allows a quick flip and you instantly know the answer to most questions without having to lug out the PDR. This book should be regarded as an essential text for students of dentistry and dental specialties and a greatly valued text for others in the health sciences. It is clear, concise, informative and short enough to be read from cover to cover. I have used this book in many editions over the years as a student, surgical trainee and teacher and cannot recommend it too highly. The new edition of Adverse Drug Reactions in dentistry updates and addresses many of the advances made in this area since publication of the very successful first edition, seven years ago.In particular, the authors have extensively revised the section on adverse drug reactions affecting the mouth and associated structures, to reflect increased drug usage in the population.
