Still waiting for a funny book from Crimmins
Once again, Cathy Crimmins has managed to publish a volume of self indulgent and puerile observations. There is nothing new or funny about this book. Let's face it - there are already too many so called humorous offerings on cats and even Crimmins herself has mined this sterile field before. The Cat Lovers Photograph Album
If you're looking for an album to put your cat photographs into..this is it! It's done up in a vintage Victorian way, with slots in the pages to slip your picture into. On each page there are soft color pictures of kitties. The hardback album/book is tied together with a ribbon to give it that Victorian look. It's a different way to assemble ones many photos, or maybe make a rememberance book. It's suitable for putting out on a table, yet is small, about 10"x8". Pleasing And Informative
This volume discusses more than 180 cat breeds from around the world, some not widely known. Usually a page or so is devoted to each breed and includes a brief history of the breed, coloring, build, and temperament. The photographs are clear and well done, one for each breed is included. Other topics also covered in this book include a section on cats in history, identifying cats, behaviour, caring for your cat, breeding, and showing.
