5-0 out of 5 stars Fascinating
These twelve colorful little dinosaur tattoos are shown in graceful, very active poses, running, leaping, attacking, stalking. While all of them are great to look at, the best is the snarling utahraptor, which practically leaps out of the picture. Also neat is the albertosaurus, in what has to be a very lifelike stance. They're all wonderful, though, from the beautiful stegosaurus to the striped hypsilophodon. The other dinosaurs depicted are tyrannosaurus, gastonia, liliensternus, argentinosaurus, apatosaurus, urodromeus, centrosaurus, and tylocephale. ... Read more

How much is that T. Rex in the window? Journalist Steve Fiffer looks at the most contentious paleontological find ever in Tyrannosaurus Sue.This scientific, sociological, and legal study is entertaining and insightful, highlighting the personalities of the researchers, attorneys, and tribal and federal authorities who struggled for years over the ownership rights to the best-preserved Rex specimen yet found. From its discovery in South Dakota in 1990 by Susan Hendrickson and Peter Larson through the tortuous court cases to decide its fate to the final auction at Sotheby's, Fiffer finds just the right words to describe the action, a difficult task given the conflicting reports of contesting witnesses. Professional jealousy and academic elitism (or concern for valuable scientific material and Indian property rights) led to accusations of illegal collecting and the seizure of the skeleton by federal agents shortly after its move to Larson's Black Hills Institute. Suits, countersuits, and indictments escalated the struggle into an all-out war with vast sums of money and professional reputations at stake. In the end, Larson was imprisoned as an example to illegal collectors despite his sincere belief that he had worked within the law, and Sue was awarded to property owner Maurice Williams and purchased for $8 million by Chicago's Field Museum with the assistance of the McDonald's and Disney corporations. Tyrannosaurus Sue is a riveting tale, well-written and just unsettling enough to provoke thought and discussion. --Rob Lightner ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A very disturbing book on the US Justice system ...
Listening to this very well done audio book I immediately wrote a letter to Vice President Al Gore. Warning: This book will horrify you with regards to the maliciousness of the Republican Department of Justice in the early 1990's.

Vice President Gore I have just been listening to a very disturbing audio book called, Tyrannosaurus Sue : The Extraordinary Saga of the Largest, Most Fought over T-Rex Ever Found. The book is about a real story which involved some palentologists who unearthed a T-Rex and the malicious attempts of a manipulated Republican Justice Government division to destroy not only the palentogists livelyhood but their company which endevoured to save and restore dinosaur fossils.

I would like the United States to pass a policy which would allow the collection of dinosaur bones for both profit and non-profit enterprises from Federal and State lands for the intended purpose of science, preservation and display.

I have never been so angered by the abuse of perceived justice by the United States as I have heard in this case. It made me sick to hear how manipulated Republican Justice Government officials (Kevin Schaffer) could use the cloak of the law in such a malicious, vendictive way.

By passing a policy which would allow for the collection of dinosaur bones for both profit and non-profit enterprises from Federal and State lands for the intended purpose of science, preservation and display, the above injustice in the Tyrannosaurus Sue will not happen again.

It should not be a crime in this country to make a profit from earning a livelyhood and it definitely shouldn't be so in the case of palentogists, especially if they find the fossils on Federal or State owned/controlled Government land.

Arnold D Yoshida-Veness

3-0 out of 5 stars Only in America
In the summer of 1990, a team of fossil hunters representing the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research, led by Peter Larson, unearthed the nearly complete skeleton of a mighty darn large Tyrannosaurus rex dinosaur buried on South Dakota land owned by one Maurice Williams. Larson paid Williams $5,000 for the skeleton, named it "Sue", and then moved it to the Institute's facility at Hill City for preservation and restoration. In May 1992, the Bandini hit the fan with an FBI raid and confiscation, and TYRANNOSAURUS SUE is the story of the 7-year legal mess that resulted. A mess that could only happen in America, the Land of the Free and the Home of Eternal Litigation.

Steve Fiffer, a Windy City journalist, has ably reconstructed Sue's saga, from the time her bones were spotted by Sue Hendrickson in a sandstone cliff, to their auction years later to an unlikely consortium comprised of the Field Museum of Natural History, Disney Corporation, and McDonald's. Most of the narrative details the protracted and acerbic civil and criminal litigation that surrounded custody of the fragmented skeleton, the chief contestants being Larson, Williams, the Cheyenne River Sioux, and the U.S. Justice Department. If the reader is a paleontologist, or just otherwise fascinated by big, toothy lizards, then this book is a must read. However, my interest was only mildly inquisitive, so I found parts of it dry going. First of all, there are no photos - not a single one. I find this hard to fathom, since Sue's excavation site was extensively photographed, the various court sessions heavily (if only locally) covered, and the reconstructed skeleton was put on permanent display before the book was published. I mean, c'mon Steve! Secondly, that part of the account describing historical aspects of dinosaur hunting in the U.S. was pretty much irrelevant to the central story, and Chapter 10, which contained too much of the criminal trial's verbatim testimony, was cause for Droopy Eyelids Syndrome. Lastly, I couldn't muster much sympathy for any one or more of the principal courtroom adversaries. Peter Larson, indicted with others from the Institute by the Feds for illegally removing artifacts from government land, was, at best, a naïve fossil-hunting nerd, or, at worst, a cunning and disingenuous outlaw. The government's chief prosecutor, Kevin Schieffer, came across as unreasonable and intransigent. Maurice Williams, who denied he was selling Sue when given that $5K, was the quintessence of greed. And how about those the Cheyenne River Sioux? A bunch of opportunists! Patrick Duffy, Larson's lawyer, conducted himself like a certifiable idiot. The only likable person in the entire tale seemed to be Sue Hendrickson, but, with no picture, it's hard to say for sure.

The value of TYRANNOSAURUS SUE was, to me, learning something about the world around me that I didn't know before. For the average reader, it's a fine exposé of what happens when a government prosecutor has way too much time on his hands.

5-0 out of 5 stars The State rivals T-Rex in amorality
One of the greatest dinosaur finds in history - perhaps THE greatest - was caught up in politics, money and jealousy. It is just pathetic what the government did to this scientist and makes one wonder question the rationality of "officials" who would commit such deeds.

All the ins and outs of scientific rivalry, government bumbling and misplaced priorities are thoroughly described. The story is fascinating and will hold your attention for days. Our view of T-rex and dinosaurs in general changed following this discovery. Good book, guaranteed to make you furious.

5-0 out of 5 stars This Book Tell's You How Pathetic Our Government Really Is
I have really enjoyed reading this book. I'm a Dinosaur nut and this book is about my favorite Dino the T-Rex so it was an obvious attraction to me to read. What I read only proved to me that our Government is pathetic to say the least. To do what they did to Peter Larson was a crime. Not only do they steal the find of the century but they lay bogus charges on him that ultimatly sent him to jail and nearly ruined his life! How can the US Government do what they did? They have been doing it to people for years and Mr Larson was only one more person who has suffered at the hands of our government. It's terrible when Dinosaur hunters cant even dig up bones for fear that they might be prosecuted for stealing so called Government property. When I first read this book I was thinking I was going to be reading about the find of the century but what I found out was that the US Government is nothing but a bunch of theif's who took the low road to try and ruin a good man who was doing his job. The story of Sue and the events that surrounded her is very very good and a must read for Dino lovers of all ages and it will show just how ruthless our Government can be.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect Balance between Science and Law
A great book that not only helps you understand paleontology and the fossil money game, but also the twists and turns of legal prosecution. The story unfolds like a novel, a tragic tale of greed whose only flaw may be that it is too sympathetic toward the fossil hunters, who, it seems to me tried to pay way too little for Sue. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Extraordinary tales of whimsy for youthful readers.
I first read this book at a young age when I was still fascinated with the world of dinosaurs. Gotten over the addiction by now, being almost out of highschool, I still look back on my memories with this book, and its sister book: "The World Beneath", with great fondness. The illustrations, no less that artistry, are high above the par of your average children's picture book. And, they are only outdone by the spellbinding story; brought to life with the loving detail that could only be conjured by a true dinosaur fan. This book would be a welcome addition to any child's wish list and makes for a lasting impression.

5-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful book, interesting read
Although this book is considered a children's book, or something for young teens, I believe it's enjoyable for people of all ages. The artwork is gorgeous and the detail Gurney puts into creating his world is amazing. The book is written in the form of a journal, written mostly by Arthur Denison, but with a few entries written by his son, Will. Because Arthur is a scientist, Gurney can believably put in a great deal of detailed information about the world of Dinotopia. I loved reading this book and I especially loved looking at it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Read for the Entire Family!
Years ago my husband received this book as a birthday gift and loved it. The collection grew to include the three true Gurney texts (Dinotopia, The Land Beneath, First Flight).

Over the past year we started reading them with our five-year-old daughter who has fallen in love with the beautiful illustrations, the mythical world and engaging characters. After reading them numerous times, they have been favorite bedtime reading, we purchased the two novels by Alan Dean Forrester. They continue the same Denison era plot lines with the same familiar characters and a few new ones. At first some of the vocabulary was hard for her to understand but I have to say that we made it through both books and we all enjoyed them. I have to disagree with those who felt the vocabulary in the Forrester texts was too difficult. I do have to admit that I had to consult webster's twice...but that's how we learn and I'm happy to give this example to my five-year-old emergent reader. Fun books, well written which send you imagination wondering....great for all ages!

5-0 out of 5 stars The most impossible dream comes true for a dinosaur fan!
This is the most beautiful and realistic book ever to be painted of a fabulous land where dinosaurs and people who are NOT cavepeople truly love each other and peacefully live together. In fact, this is quite different from Jurassic Park - here, dinosaurs treat you with a great respect and even speak to you in your own language! The details of everyday life in the lovely Dinotopia are quite eye-filling and breathtaking, ranging from a wooden puppet serving as a foster mother to new hatchlings to the simply stunning ariel views of those glorious castles proudly standing upon very craggy mountains as you fly by on a pterosaurus-shaped hang-guider! A hardcore dinosaur lover would just swoon at those wonderful sights no matter how old he or she is! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars A dry first look at dinosaurs
This book was not nearly as entertaining as some of the other "idiot's guides" that I have read in the past. The book described many of the species of dinosaur, but illustrations were few and far between. Further, the information was presented in a rather dry manner, compared to some of the other books in this line. I also noticed several typos, which took away from the legitimacy of the book. There is some good information in the book, but I feel it could have been presented in more entertaining fashion.

3-0 out of 5 stars A Good Introduction; Succeeds at Objective-Some Weakness
This book is easy to read and is packed with plenty of accurate information. It is up to date and balanced in its treatment of current theories and knowledge. Its stated purpose is to be an introduction to the subject for parents and kids of all ages and it certainly succeeds in doing this. There are however a few weaknesses. There are some oversimplifications, such a stating that Iguanodon walked on two legs like a kangaroo. This was corrected in a later chapter. There are also some errors, such as a photo of a Pteranodon labeled Archaeopteryx and a margin note pertaining to computers. The style gets in the way, occasionally. The humor made part of the raptor chapter somewhat difficult to follow. The glossary and appendices are helpful. Overall, a good book for an introduction or a refresher on the subject.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great introduction for readers of all ages!
This is the perfect book for parents with dino-loving kids. They can spend days and days reading about them, but if we want to keep up, we need something more organized and direct to read. My son was never so impressed with me as when I first identified his toy apatosaurus without his help! That moment alone made the book worth reading. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars excellent!
i thought this book was amazing. its incredibly interesting, and its hard to put it down once youve started. it shows so much about the dinosaurs and i learned so much since i read it. im in high school, and i never really had much of an interest in paleontology. but when i read this it made me look at it an entirely different way, and im so glad i took the time to read it. excellent work!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great new paleo-book!
I very much enjoyed Dinosaur Memories, which while reading, conjured many fond recollections about my youthful years of learning about paleontology - a science which isn't only about dinosaurs - as noted by the authors. Also, I found their discussions about prehistoric mammals and fantasy dinosaurs of science fiction literature enlightening. That chapter about dinosaur toy collectors & figure collecting is a scream! I've been down many of those same roads that Debus & Debus have been but still found their personal insights & anecdotes most refreshing. Kudos!

Dinosaur Memories is a delightful 'companion volume to their book 'Paleoimagery.' With a Foreword by Dr. Kenneth Carpenter & a zany Introduction by Mike Fredericks - editor of Prehistoric Times magazine!

5-0 out of 5 stars A fun book for young children who love dinosaurs
My son, now 12, used to love this book when he was 3 and 4 years old. It was also a lot of fun to read for me!

4-0 out of 5 stars Prelutsky is wonderful for kids and adults.
Several years after reading this book, I can still recall by heart many of Prelutsky's clever rhymes and catchy rhythms. The amazing thing is:so can my kids! The favorite dinosaurs such as T-Rex are given their poeticdue, but so are lesser known dinosaurs such as leptoterigius andquetzelcoatlus. (sp?)Although I love all of Prelutsky's whimsical poetry,I felt this book was better suited for young listeners than such works as"It's Snowing! It's Snowing".(Perhaps because the subjectmatter is more familiar to the pre-school set)Some parents may not likethe occasional graphic imagery, but lets face it: carniverous dinosaurswere not dainty eaters! The poetry is too lyrical to be truly gruesome, and besides, all kids like to be grossed out a little bit.If your childis at all into dinosaurs, this may be a good addition to your home library.

1-0 out of 5 stars Tyrannosaurus Was a Beast
"...Allosaurus liked to hunt, and when it caught its quarry,it tore it open, back and front, and never said," I'm sorry!" 5-0 out of 5 stars Is holding up well with continued use
My daughters (now 3 and 2) received this book about 6 months ago. They love Barney so the book was an instant hit.

They love the fact that they can lift the flaps as I read them the story - makes for a really fun and exciting reading session (no matter how many times I've read it to them). They also enjoy looking through it themselves and love lifting all the flaps.

I can't tell you how many times this book has been read in the last 6 months but it's been ALOT. The flaps have held up well with the constant use and none look anywhere near ripping - this book is good quality.

As they are learning their ABC's and 123's this book has continued to hold their interest.

Recommended if you love Barney, love "flap books, or just want an interesting and fun way to learn your ABC's and 123's.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun, sturdy, colorful
Our toddler loves lift-the-flap books but often, through repetition or curiosity, tears the flaps off; however, the flaps on this book are thick and sturdy, and have withstood many viewings with no tears. The heavy laminate pages clean up easily.

The book is colorful and has a LOT of flaps: the first two-page scene features the first ten numbers; the second has the 26 letters of the alphabet; the third shows a farm scene with nine colors featured; the fourth is a busy circus, with flaps for eight shapes; the fifth is a beach scene and the flaps depict seven pairs of opposites; and the sixth shows a fairy tale scene that incorporates eleven flaps hiding characters from the show (Stella, Baby Bop) and fairy tale characters (Humpty Dumpty, Mother Goose).

A good value, entertaining and educational.

5-0 out of 5 stars Barney's Abc, 123 and More, an absolute hit!
This book was a hit on Christmas! My 15 month old son would not let it go once he opened it. The book is a nice size (big) and has a lot of fun flaps to open so he can learn his abc's and more. My son love Barney and this book will turn into fond memorie for him as he grows. It's great to find something he enjoys. My 6 year old daughter enjoys reading it with him too!

5-0 out of 5 stars Very good

Book Description

A complete look at the world of dinosaurs.

Don Lessem, renowned dinosaur expert, award-winning children's author, and advisor to the creators of Jurassic Park, offers a lively and informative, guide to dinosaurs.

Dinosaurs ruled the world for 150 million years. During that time, the world changed from a single warm supercontinent into the familiar continents that resemble modern Earth. The dinosaurs themselves also changed to adapt to these dramatic changes. This book is organized by the vast periods dominated by the dinosaurs: the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous. Fifty-four dinosaurs are featured against the backdrop of where they lived to give a better understanding of their distribution and evolution. Information tables for 25 dinosaurs provide details such as translation of name, group, size, diet, and a concise profile.

Brief overviews of the world before and after dinosaurs are included as well. The Dinosaur Atlas also discussed various theories for their mass extinction and why their descendents may still live in the form of birds. Featuring color maps, dramatic illustrations, and humorous sidebars, this book takes a unique, geographical approach to a timeless subject. ... Read more

Book Description

Photographically realistic color paintings capture 120 genera of dinosaurs-plus other prehistoric animals-organized according to evolutionary relationships. If these grand creatures still walked the earth today, this would be the field guide you'd take on your "dino safari" to identify them! Each one appears in its habitat, a fact file that gives you information at a glance: each creature's length and weight; a physical description; its diet; and more. To get a good sense of its comparative size, a small sketch of the dinosaur appears next to that of another animal-like a human or elephant. Look on the world map to see where the Theocodontosaurus, Plateosaurus, Chasmosaurus, or others dwelt, and on the timeline to learn when. Plus: an introduction provides general background on dinosaur classification and traits.

5-0 out of 5 stars A handy field guide for identifying dinosaurs in the wild
The conceit behind the "Guide to Wild Dinosaurs" is that it provides information on the many types of dinosaurs that roamed the earth during different prehistoric periods in the format of the field guide you would use to identify birds or other wildlife out in the real world. This means you get all the vital details such as the length and weight (including a sense of scale in comparison to a human being or elephant), classification, and a description of each creature, along with a time-wheel, a map, and a color portrait of the dinosaur "in the wild" as it were.

The only significant difference is that because we are dealing with dinosaurs on the basis of the extant fossil record, instead of having large colored regions of the globe indicating where a particular creature can be found, there are little dots. If you are dealing with the likes of the stegosaurus or the apatosaurus, then you are dealing with a multi-state area, but otherwise the pickings are pretty slim. If you live out in the Colorado, Wyoming, area of the country then you can play along with the conceit a lot more easily; I still have not found a dinosaur that I could expect to encounter in Northern Minnesota. Still, all things considered that is a minor complaint given how much fun this field guide is overall.

What I appreciate about the "Guide to Wild Dinosaurs," is that author Adam Yates and illustrator Jon Hughes have found a creative way of providing a lot of information about dinosaurs. This is not just another dinosaur picture book. You will really get a sense of the way certain dinosaurs are related within their genus. The 120 genera of dinosaurs (and a few other prehistoric animals that are not reptiles) are grouped into three sections, each covering animals from a different period of the Mesozoic Era. Within each of these periods the animals are organized according to their evolutionary relationships. Consequently, even young readers should get a better idea of the "clades" each animal belongs to, from the largest (e.g., Saurischia or Ornithichia) to the smallest (e.g., family). ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fabulous--Absolutely Beloved By Our 4 Year Old
I came upon this book when my daughter became interested in dinosaurs. I had been searching for books that use dinosaurs as interesting characters and with storylines, and this certainly fit the bill. But we found it had an even greater appeal--it very amusingly rewrites the classic Cinderella tale! Instead of the usual passive victim, Dinorella is the true heroine of the story and saves the male character, the Duke! Our kids all get enough of the Disney versions of fairy tales these days--I think this is a terrific way to demonstrate that a girl can be strong (and wear a pretty dress and jewels, too!). After a year of heavy use, and nearly daily requests for this to be read aloud, I had to order another copy because our beloved Dinorella book was practically in shreds. Trust me, girls ages 4-6 will LOVE this book! And boys seem to like it, too (plenty of action, and of couse, the dinosaurs)--I read this book aloud to my daughter's pre-kindergarten class a few weeks ago, and the boys were just as enthralled as the girls. I think it is nice to read boys books with strong female characters, so I will read our copy to my baby son when he is older. There is an extremely negative review of this book posted, which I find unbelievable . . . give this book a chance, especially if you and your kids have enjoyed any of the author's other books. It's a rollicking good read, and the illustrations are lots of fun. You can't go wrong, especially for the price of the paperback!

5-0 out of 5 stars We all love this book!
My four year old son loves this book, and we love reading it to him. It's also a great book for giving examples of the letter D. Very clever writing!

1-0 out of 5 stars In a "d" word...DISGUSTING!!!
Edwards should be ashamed of herself! The name-calling and implicit violence are unnecessary in a remade fairytale. Having received this as a gift I didn't hesitate filing it right where it belongs (the round file!), never considering giving it to someone else even for free. The book is not the least bit funny or entertaining. With a few minor changes she could have made it a keeper. Like so many similar story books the language used only teaches our kids to treat each other with irreverence. Our children will learn the dirt of life all on their own and need no help from "stories" like this. No wonder our todler's friends resort to their language and behavior with trash like this being published. Please do society a favor and buy something worthwhile to read to your children.

5-0 out of 5 stars Dinorella is a really nice book.
Dinorella is a pretty dinosaur. The book is funny and nice. I liked it a lot.

4-0 out of 5 stars This book is an excellent dinosaur fairytale!
This book is an excellent fairytale about a dinosaur who portrays the life of Cinderella. My children could listen to this book everynight. One word of caution, there are a lot of "d" words that may leave you tongue tied! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars best book ever
This is my favorite book ever. The deep, tense plot, and the intriguing and multi-dimensional characters kept me reading non-stop from start to finish. Barney is good for all ages, especially the over-50 crowd. For those of you tired by the mindless action and violence, this is for you. This is unlike the TV show Teletubbies.

5-0 out of 5 stars Barney may be annoying but the books are great!
I am NOT a Barney fan (can any adults stomach that show?), my son is though so I got him some of the books. I love how positive they are and how they influence good behavior and don't reinforce any bad. It's worth putting up with Barney to end up with a well mannered kid!

5-0 out of 5 stars bright life-like photos
A nice book for young children, encourages good behavior in resteraunts.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent reference for kids
My daughter got this book when she turned three, about six months ago. Whenever we take her to a restaurant, about once a week and always to a very kid-friendly restaurant (I don't see the point in taking her to anything else!), we read through this book just before we go, and she now knows how to behave when she's ordering a meal etc. By the way, in case parents of younger kids were wondering --- before she was three she was impossible to take out for a meal. She'd kick and scream and generally make it known she wanted to get down!

5-0 out of 5 stars Apractical guide to table manners for young ones
This book is ideal for children because it is a good guide for parents to teach their child how to display good table manners and behavior in a public eating place. It teaches children how to use cuttlery properly because many children would feel badly when they see other children using a knife and fork comfortably. It also helps the young ones to relax and feel at ease. It also makes them realise that eating out is fun! The pictures are so clear, colorful, appealing and attractive to the young children. I know my grandson will love this book. He is only two years old and he is a fantastic diner already. He feeds himself, using a fork and avoids making any mess with his meals. He is a social eater. He even eats better when he goes out. He sips his drink slowly and attempts to even participate in round-the-table conversation. I know it is a great book. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This is a great book!
This is a great book. Kids love to have it read aloud, and will read it themselves, too!!! When I got the 1st book, "Dinotopia", I didn't read it-just looked at the great pictures! When I did read it, I loved it...Great everything in this book!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars James Gurney is the best writer I have read about.
When I first read Dinotopia, I just enjoyed the pictures. But now, I wish that I was in Dinotopia. I wish I was a skybax rider, soaring high above the clouds. James Gurney makes his world seem real, so real that you can almost reach out and touch it. Because of his beautiful paintings, you are "reborn" into a wondreful fantasy world. I am only 12, but my love of Dinotopia has sprouted, just like shipwreaked humans on the island. I have read both books, plus I have read all the paperback books. Instead of the views of Will and Arthur Denison, the paperback books give you a different perspectave of life on Dinotopia. Like in "River Quest", the book gives a perspectave of a young 13 year old girl, who becomes the rainwater habitat partners and how Mangolia and Paddlefoot recover the Polongo River. If anyone likes the detailed, wonderful world of Dinotopia, I recommend reading the Dinotopian series as well.

5-0 out of 5 stars Oops I think he did it again.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that Gurney's second Dinotopia book is just as good as the first. The illustrations are wonderful. After reading this, I now know more about the characters in the movie Dinotopia.

5-0 out of 5 stars Superb Sequel
The first book was one of a kind...until the second came along and finished the story. Dinotopia: The World Beneath is a must have for anyone who has read the first book. There are new adventures, amazing new discoveries, plenty of exciting action and a satisfying conclusion to everything. The illustrations are just as spectacular as they were the first time and the story does not dilute itself one bit. I urge you to find yourself a copy of this book, and also a copy of the original if you have not read that either; both are amazing books meant for all ages.

5-0 out of 5 stars No loss of glory
Dinotopia is an island where dinosaurs and people live in peace, except for the carnivores that live in the Rainy Basin. This book is the sequel to Dinotopia: A Land Apart from Time and it was just as good as the last Dinotopia. The sequel brought more depth to the plot without losing any of the original’s glory. ...
