5-0 out of 5 stars A Quixotic Adventure into True Horror
I can remember when "The Men in Black" were an urban legend, a myth, a bogeyman to frighten paranormalists. Now the phrase is a sign on an office door hidden deep in the basement of the Pentagon. No individual is more responsible for this paradigm shift than John Keel, whose Mothman Prophecies exploded onto the paranormal scene in 1975 and changed forever the way we would look at events from the outer limits of human knowledge.

John Keel lives in a world in which paranormal phenomena take strange forms: hairy giants, red-eyed and sulphurous, skulking through lovers' lanes; invisible electromagnetic fields which induce terror; winged weirdies such as Mothman; and finally, and most importantly, the Men in Black, a sort of advance guard for the CIA from Outer Elsewhere. These last entities tapped Keel's phone lines, tampered with his mail, spread disinformation and terror among his associates, and generally made his life a living hell until they had distracted him long enough to achieve their nefarious ends: the destruction of the Silver Bridge at Point Pleasant, West Virginia, on December 15, 1967. The purpose behind this act was identical to that of all the entities which Keel calls "ultraterrestrials:" to confuse, annoy, and generally interfere with humanity, as they have since the beginning of time, appearing as gods, fairies, devils, and flying saucer occupants. These and most other paranormal phenomena exist somehow in the spectra of energy beyond the ranges of our physical senses, and make themselves known to us only when they wish to advance their own sinister purposes. By means of light flashes, they hypnotize their subjects, and are thus subsequently able to manipulate the belief systems of the observers. This is Keel's Grand Unified Theory of paranormal phenomena.

My first impression of this book was that it is a paranormalist's homage to Ovid's Metamorphoses. Keel's book, like Ovid's poem, lacks structure and form, and shifts fluidly from one narrative to the next, with only the slightest pretext of connection between incidents. This narrative structure is reflected by events in the text itself: everyday objects transform into creatures from the outer dark, lights in the sky turn into flying saucers, phone lines become a tool of hostile forces from another dimension. One of the ramifications of this flowing narrative style is that the reader is not encouraged to consider closely the implications of these events, however. This flaw undermines Keel's own apparent goal in publishing this account, but may also give us clues to understanding events described therein. Frightening though it may be, the ultraterrestrials may actually be the text's true authors.

I came to this last conclusion after a recent re-reading, in which the work reminded me not so much of Ovid's Metamorphoses as it recalled Cervantes' Don Quixote, which challenges the narrative voice of the Western novel. Keel is at times a friendly narrator, at others a cynical and battle-weary one, and the reader soon comes to respect and trust him, as he tries to sort facts from disinformation, expresses concern for those who have been used by the ultraterrestrials, and faces the threat of possible psychic attack, injury, or even death at their hands.

A careful reading of the work raises questions, however: if Keel was in close contact with these entities, and exposed to the same forces which create delusions in other human subjects, how did he escape being subject to their hypnotic power? There are two possible answers. In the first case, Keel is a superman, somehow capable of deflecting or absorbing without ill effect the malign rays sent forth by these black garbed spooks, and he can perhaps show us a way out of many centuries of deception and trickery. For this, he should be ranked with the luminaries of the Enlightenment--Newton, Galileo, and Bacon, among others--who led the way out of the darkness of superstition and into a new age of clear thinking and empiricism.

The second possibility is much more frightening, and the evidence for it is stronger. This narrator whom we have come to trust, who bravely faces these creatures from Outer Elsewhere, is nothing more than a puppet, a conduit for these beings. In such a scenario he is in fact effecting the very actions he rails against throughout the book. He admits that they had some effect on his life, and even if one chooses to believe that he vanquishes them in the end, one is left with the possibility that he has been played: that he was merely led to believe that he had won, that the ultraterrestrials might better continue their games.

The narrator of Don Quixote is similarly befuddled by uncertainty regarding his sources, and this leaves the reader wondering about the narrator's credibility, and if he might not have a hidden agenda. Several times in the novel the narrator steals bits from other writers, and shamelessly distorts them to his own ends. These snippets of text, and the narrator's unblushing thievery, distort and undermine the narrator's authority. He is a clear example of the unreliable narrator, and after reading the work, the reader is left with a new understanding of the nature of the Western novel. In Keel's hands--or the hands of his masters--this breakdown of narrative authority becomes a source of horror. Even as Keel rails against the ultraterrestrials, he strengthens their hold on the human mind, enslaving us to their alien whims, by providing a belief system for their continued manipulation of the human race. As Keel himself says, "Belief is the enemy." Does Keel want to break the ultraterrestrials' grip on humanity, or continue it? After reading this work, one does not have an answer to that question. The mere presence of entities such as Mothman or the Men in Black was enough to give me goosebumps, on my first reading: that the seemingly trustworthy narrator might be their unwitting dupe, part of the ultraterrestrials' Operation Trojan Horse, has provided the material for many nightmares.

3-0 out of 5 stars Intriguing but choppy
The fact is, these things "happened" - in the sense that they were reported about - and the Mothman phenomena is fairly well-documented in other places. However, this is one of the only actual published books I have managed to locate on the topic, so it deserves scrutiny. Its very apparent that something very strange was going on in West Virginia in the months leading up to the Point Pleasant bridge disaster. Taken as a more or less matter-of-fact document of the times, it works pretty well. Its almost funny how Keel describes his participation in these events, like sitting up and watching strange lights in the sky every Wednesday evening is no big deal. Keel maintains a general tone of paranoia and eerieness throughout the book, due to his rambling, but more or less matter-of-fact tone. Credibility is questionable because lot of the reconstructed conversations sound a little too contrived and detailed to be anything more than fiction or imagination (I should mention Carlos Castaneda's name at this point).

Keel seems to be putting forward a very Terence McKenna-like philosophy of the goings-on, that there are invisible inter-dimensional psychic entities that are capable of influencing the world about them (except of course the part about needing heroic doses of psylocibin to see them) and they were somehow involved with what happened around Point Pleasant. But to what end? Keel seems to have opinions but he more or less keeps them to himself, or allowed his publisher to purge them. The book has been too chopped up and filtered to be anything more than kitsch. Its still a fascinating read and recommended for fans of the paranormal.

5-0 out of 5 stars THIS BOOK IS WHOOPING A HORSES BEHIND
Well for one thing, the book is pretty freakin' freaky. Aside from the fact that Keel often goes off on crazy tangents about how he thinks the world works, the book is pretty good. I'm not sure if all of this actually happened, but if it did then I'm sold!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great book about a strange entity
This is a gripping book about the strange "mothman" encounters in West Virginia in the 1960s. If you have any interest in the paranormal you should definitely give this book a try. It is great entertainment, even if you're one of those skeptics who don't believe a word the author is saying. I wish the plot of the movie had been closer to the book.

1-0 out of 5 stars SHAME ON YOU MR. KEEL !!!
Let me just start by saying that the " MOTHMAN PROPHECIES" is not a novel, nor is it a coherent story. It starts strong, just enough to draw you in, then it goes down the spectral energy crap hole. Were led to believe that Mr. Keel is a sensiable, unbiased investigator, when really he's a parinoid delusional whack. I'm only 15, and I don't buy a word of it!!! see the movie instead. ... The truth begins here

Author and award-winning Journalist Jim Marrs has uncovered compelling new evidence regarding extraterrestrials-that alien life forms have not only visited our planet in the past, but are among us right now. Drawing on numerous eyewitness accounts, highly classified CIA reports, and his own meticulous research, Marrs marshals an impressive array of facts to confirm the reality of UFOs--as well as the depth of the government campaign to keep America in the dark. Here is information unavailable in any other single source, including:

  • Intriguing insights into the 1947 Roswell crash and the U.S. military's efforts to suppress all public inquiries
  • Detailed accounts of UFO landing sites in South America and of abductions in the U.S.
  • Vivid descriptions of UFOs by Apollo astronauts-in their own words
  • Tantalizing clues to the alien timetable for revealing their plans here

5-0 out of 5 stars Good read and some really new information
Excellent reading with some really new information. The research, writing and organization of material by the Author is way above average. If you haven't bought a general review of UFOs, Alien Contact, and Secret Government Conspiracy, then I'd say this is a 'must read.' Also, Dr. Paul Hill's Unconvential Flying Objects has lenghty details about the crafts and sightings that will please both the novice and scientist.

And of course Brad Steiger's Alien Rapture is in a category all by itself in combining an exciting novel with newly released documents and detailed description of the flying triangle as well as why the government(s) have kept the secret and what is at stake. I've read all three of these selections from Amazon and I suggest you read all the reviews before buying. For the first timer, this is an excellent general guide to read.

I highly recommend you check out all of Jim Marrs books on Amazon. This is just one example of his amazing writing and research.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Must Read!!!
Alien Agenda by Jim Marrs is an excellent book for people studying the UFO subject for the first time. This book contains a good overview of all basic UFO subjects. The author covers a lot of ground: Ancient Astronaut theory, Roswell, abductions, sightings, close encounters of the 4th kind, goverment cover-ups, etc. The book details UFOlogy and a plain and simple manner that it's easy to understand. Plus, the book is fun to read. Jim Marrs didn't write this book for entertainment; he's a serious author who doesn't take UFOlogy lightly. Mr. Marrs is a professional journalist and highly respected. This book should be in the personal library of anyone interested in the UFO topic.

1-0 out of 5 stars A disaster
Someone should write a book about why Marrs continues to write books about things he can't prove. Not only is this badly written, but Marrs does a fabulous job of presenting only 1 side of the argument--his own. "Witness testimony" is all fine and dandy, but why is that Marrs can't ever come up with proof for his claims? Oh wait, the U.S. Government covers it all up. Good Lord, do people really buy into that garbage, or do they just want to believe it? The latter is my opinion. Until Marrs can show pictures of these "aliens", his arguments will continue to be shot down. Maybe the Majestic 12 has all those aliens over for Sunday dinner, but I suspect the truth lies in the hyperactive imaginations of "eyewitnesses" and "experts".

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy to read
This book is not full of rhetoric but loads of reference and witness testimony. It was easy to read as the words flowed and every sentence made sense. Even the skeptic will find credible detail to this controversial phenomenon. There are some surprises as the title of the book suggests. If you want something more than cliche stories of alien abductions and flying saucers, this book will likely do the trick.

5-0 out of 5 stars Probably the most thoughtful book on subject.
This book by far exceeds others in clarity, honesty, and breath. The book lays its position on the line to let us know just where it stands, namely, skeptical of official, establishment answers to the ufo dilemma. Yet the book does not present a hardcore conspiracy theory. It's commentary is historically informed, smart, and subtle. Time and again, when you think all has been said about crop-circles, cattle mutilation, Billy Miers, etc., this book goes beyond simple, black-and-white analysis to reveal the true complexity of the ufo matter. What this all means, of course, is that as Marrs says toward the end of the book, ufologically speaking things have come to a head. Indeed, this is the one shortcoming of this type of book: there would seem to be no way forward after ufos have subsumed so many mysteries from bridges on the moon to animal multilations in Montana. What's left to the agenda? The book doesn't ask this question explicitly but unlike so many other ufo books, it brings us to the edge where this question must now be asked. ... Read more

Book Description

This astonishing analysis of the Bible reveals that the Scriptures are filled with technological data, and speak of a visitation to earth by celestial beings who created man. Strong evidence is presented that the Exodus tabernacle and the temple of Solomon, with the ark as centerpiece, were microwave transceivers comminicating with orbiting spaceships. "The Yahweh Encounters" also examines Biblical predictions of 21st century technology including orbiting thought -control devices and laser exterminators; a comparison of ancient and modern UFOs; and Biblical descriptions of the horrors of a one-world dictatorship and end-time cosmic disasters, to occur just before the return of Jesus and the spaceships. Three of the twelve chapters include circuit descriptions involving plasma physics, crystal lasers, ionic loudspeakers, sonic holography, microwave resonators, and twelve six-foot diameter metal dish antennas on wheels. The plan of the construction and operating procedures (rituals) were taken directly from the Bible passages of God's plans given to Moses and Solomon. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent work. Write more please.
I have read many "alternative history" books and what I really liked about this one was its objectivity yet sense of underlying faith. When so many books attempt to "debunk" christianity, this one actually can serve to provide a greater sense that there is a true uniqueness to the jewish and christian histories. And the good thing is that the author leaves that decision up to the reader. Well-documented, scholarly dealing with what is a far-out idea to most people. Its a good read though the technical details can get a little deep. Nevertheless, I highly respected that aspect even though I think it might have turned some readers away. Very pleased with the book. One thing I wanted to ask the author was that when she describes what she postulates to be an Eden that exist in an orbiting spacecraft, I was actually given the image of what could have just as easily been an earthbound greenhouse that was completely isolated, cut off and controlled with 24-hour artificial light and atmosphere.

5-0 out of 5 stars Truly Thought Provoking
This is truly an amazing work! The information appears to be well researched and is presented in such a way that the average person can visualize the events depicted in the Bible but with new eyes. The "Yahweh Encounters" offers the reader a more logical understanding of how mankind came into being, rather than those promoted by "simple" religion. It brings to light that there are historical facts present allowing one to appreciate a more logical estimation of what the authors of the Bible were trying to explain.

5-0 out of 5 stars An absolute must read!
This book really makes you think about u.f.os in the Bible. one of the most original and unique books I've read in a while. This book is filled with theories and facts that will blow you away. If you're curious about aliens in the Bible theories get started on this book as soon as you can. You don't have to believe, but it will make you think.

5-0 out of 5 stars Finally, some answers!!!
Very well written! Lucid! Credible! And courageous in outlook and comprehensive in scope. This book does not dismiss Judaism/Christianity, but validates it with great care. Kudos to you, Mrs. Jones! I admire your work and hope you will do a follow up pertaining to "The War In Heaven" and the nature of Satan. In the very least, a great and substantial post-modern contribution to field of UFOlogy. Thank you!

5-0 out of 5 stars Fascinating in-depth study of Biblical mysteries
I read this book from cover to cover in just a couple of days. I was fascinated and intrigued by the author's re-interpretation of many well-known but puzzling Bible events. The author examines these carefully in the light of modern scientific knowledge. Included in her analysis are Ezekiel's description of a strange "wheel" in the sky which flew him up to "heaven," the deadly effects of the Ark of the Covenant on anyone who mishandled it (over 64,000 people died as a direct result of this, as chronicled in the Old Testament), the bizarre construction and practices surrounding King Solomon's temple, and the miracles of Jesus' ministry on earth. This book should be read with an open mind but you will find it quite fascinating and thought provoking. ... Read more

Book Description

AMERICA'S SECRET ANTI-GRAVITY AND TELEPORTATION PROGRAM EXPOSEDUNDERGROUND AND UNWATER 'ALIEN BASES' EXPOSED TO LIGHT OF DAY.This is a sensational book authored by a retired Air Force Security Service member who reported directly to the NSA. Hamilton insists that there is reasonable evidence that the reverse engineering of downed alien craft has enabled certain branches of the "Secret Government to develop a technology that may be hundreds of years beyond what the public is familiar with. Some of this advanced technology was used in recent Middle East conflicts...and some of the mysterious black triangles that have been observed hovering in the night sky may be the result of deep dark "black ops" projects which even the President may not know about. The author also tells about an on going battle between various races of extraterrestrials and the hall of horrors that can be found seven levels down at Area 5l where humans are being "grown" in large tanks. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The Truth Behind The UFO Cover-Up
William F. Hamilton III is a well-known researcher of the many mysteries surrounding the UFO phenomenon. When the Phoenix Lights flap occurred back in the mid-90s, he was the premiere on-the-scene investigator, and he is a popular speaker on the UFO lecture circuit as well as a frequent guest expert on radio and television.

Originally published back in 1990, Hamilton's wonderful overview of the government cover-up of the alien incursion into our little blue planet, entitled "Cosmic Top Secret: America's Secret UFO Program," was reprinted by Global Communications a couple of years ago, and it's great to have such a true classic available once again.

One of the primary charms offered by Hamilton in "Cosmic Top Secret" is the enormous wealth of stories and anecdotes he has gathered on numerous aspects of the government's secret study of and relationship with the UFOs and their occupants. While Hamilton readily acknowledges that there is no concrete evidence to prove these stories beyond any reasonable doubt, their cumulative effect is to create a sense of awe and wonder in the reader, and to appeal to the imagination in ways that no science-fiction story ever could.

The many shadowy informants who step out of the darkness, each holding their own piece of the larger puzzle in their trembling hands, provide testimonies which coalesce into a picture of military and intelligence agency collusion with visitors from the stars whose interest in mankind may not be as benevolent as we would like to hope. Has our government sold us out to alien interests in exchange for help in making "out-of-this-world" advances in technology? Has the military agreed to allow for the abduction of human test subjects in order to pacify an invading alien force bent on the total takeover of our world? These are the kinds of issues Hamilton grapples with in the pages of "Cosmic Top Secret," all the while building a solid case for the idea that SOMETHING is going on in the covert black projects carried out by so many government and military agencies, something that is to be hidden from the unsuspecting eyes of the public at all costs.

Hamilton covers a lot of essential ground in "Cosmic Top Secret," such as the Roswell crash, Bob Lazar and the Area 51/Dreamland story, underground tunnels and bases and the rumored super-secret underground laboratory facility in Dulce, New Mexico. He presents story after story, taken from actual workers on the scene who for one reason or another have decided to go public with what they know, and the sheer strangeness of what those informants relate sometimes boggles the mind. The standard diminutive grays, for instance, don't merely show up in the dreamlike recollections of abductees, but are seen time and again working alongside human government employees in secret laboratories miles beneath the surface.

It is easy to be cynical about the government these days. One still reels from things like Richard Nixon's Watergate and George Bush's nonexistent Weapons of Mass Destruction. The history of lies told to the public that were later exposed as such seems to go on forever. Is it such a difficult leap to the idea that the government espouses a public policy of ridicule and denial regarding the UFO phenomenon, while secretly they are buried deep in an alien conspiracy that they may ultimately have no real control over?

If there is any truth to that unsettling scenario, then "Cosmic Top Secret" is one of the best sources to learn about it from. The book also includes several fascinating black and white photos of UFOs taken near sensitive military installations, as well as some intriguing speculative technological theorizing on the propulsion systems used by UFOs that are covertly being reverse-engineered for use in human aircraft. Hamilton does an excellent job of making the hard data comprehensible to the average layman.

Also included in the package is a reprint of the complete text of Hamilton's "Alien Magic," which is a further study of these same topics fleshed out with even more information about underground bases, government cooperation with a variety of alien races, and additional stories from those brave souls who dare to try to bring their devastating knowledge to the American public--before it's too late to do anything but surrender to those large, dark eyes that seem to already know us all too well. ... While Jung is known mainly for his theories on the nature of the unconscious mind, he did have an interest in the paranormal. In this essay, Jung applies his analytical skills to the UFO phenomenon. Rather than assuming that the modern prevalence of UFO sightings are due to extraterrestrial craft, Jung reserves judgment on their origin and connects UFOs with archetypal imagery, concluding that they have become a "living myth." This essay is intriguing in its methodology and implications as to the nature of UFOs and their relation to the human psyche. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Aberations in the Collective Unconscious.
In a world of black helicopters flying overhead, cattle mutilations, and Y2K bugs, these cogent remarks by Jung are all the more relevant. The post-modern era is plagued by millenial hysteria, doomsday cults, and "alien visitations". What does this all mean for modern man? Psychical aberations manifest themselves in mass delusions. What else lurks in the depths of man's soul? And, what else is waiting to rise to the surface? We can only speculate.

5-0 out of 5 stars imaginal symbols of wholeness
Jung's interpretation of flying saucers as compensatory Self symbols of wholeness required by an era of psychological fragmentation is both brilliant and well-developed in this fine little book.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BASIS FOR UFOs PSYCHO-SOCIOLOGICAL INTERPRETATION
What Jung did with this book is, fundamentally, setting the honest basis for UFO intereptation from a psychological point of view. That's why the open postulates he gained from this inquiry have generated many controversies and strumentalization among the ufologists' field. UFOs - says Jung - may be psycho-sociological phenomena which come from both the inner symbolic human subconscious AND from our technological era's imaginism. However, those hardly conventionally explainable episode may even - in Jung's own opinion - be a HARD and MATERIAL phenomenon, which may be explained with extraterrestrial visits. From this point of view, the sociological redutionism slips towards a postume status, leaving the question as open as ever. Definitely, the book you should be starting with if you like the subject. ... Read more

Book Description

When And Yet They Fly was first introduced more than two years ago, it set the standard for a clear, concise introduction to the extraterrestrial contacts of "Billy" Eduard A. Meier. In simple and easily understood language, author Guido Moosbrugger brings this largely untold story alive with eyewitness accounts, reviews of the scientific evidence and almost 40 color pages of UFO photographs taken between 1975 and 1979.

Moosbrugger’s extraordinary review takes readers directly into the world of UFOs and paranormal activity, offering an unwavering account of Billy Meier and his life as a contactee, as well as in-depth information on extraterrestrial life, an overview of their technical capabilities and the reasons for visiting earth. And Still They Fly is sufficiently detailed as to satisfy the reader who is contemplating a closer look into the scientific facts of the case or those seeking the most definitive story on Billy Meier and his extraterrestrial contacts.

This second edition, entitled And Still They Fly, was updated and expanded to include a new chapter entitled the Henoch Prophecies. These prophecies were given to Billy on February 28, 1987 and have never before been released to the public! The Henoch Prophecies warn of a looming World War III and mention, by name, the countries that will be involved. With the ever-increasing change in the world situation, these prophecies serve as an urgent appeal for mankind to change our thoughts and actions and avert a worldwide catastrophe. ... Read more

This is a really well done book on Billy Meier. I really enjoyed the color UFO photos. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the Pleiadians and UFOs.

5-0 out of 5 stars Still the best book on the Billy Meier UFO case!
Years and years of only being able to hear the skeptics view point on the Billy Meier UFO case. We finally we get a new book about the True Facts of the Billy Meier case. By a man who's studied the case for over 25 years. Other books on the Meier case like "UFO...Contact from the Pleiades" by Wendell Stevens & "Light Years" by Gary Kinder, were very good but are now somewhat outdated, even though I highly recommend them in addition to this book. But this book is the most thoroughly researched of all the books on Billy Meier case. I highly recommend this book even more than the first edition which was called And Yet They Fly, because of the addition of the Henoch (Enoch) Prophecies. Which are released to the public for the first time in this book. The Henoch Prophecies warn of a possible World War III if we don't change our thoughts and actions. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Read This Book if You Are Ready for Truth
Hurrah for the Truth! Viva La Truth! Death to the Tyrants of Organized Religion and Bigotry Forever! These Books are Revelation! I demand a Book 4!!!! Alright Neil, get busy!

I am one of those many people having been "lead" to Book 1 a year and a half ago. In short, it said a lot about God that I already suspected was true, and confirmed it. On the other hand, Book 1 opened up a whole new revelation to me, and it has changed my life forever.

I have to admit that I was a little stymied by the rather extended recap of Book 1 in Book 3, and I kept finding myself saying..."when are we going to get to the new stuff?" After all, we could read Book 1 over again, right, if somehow we had lost continuity? I felt every page was golden, and need not be wasted on repetition; this is the 3rd and FINAL book. I found myself constantly hungering for more knowledge. Only when we get to the middle of Book 3 are we starting to see something new.

I think there was too much time spent by Neil insisting on talking about open sex and open marriage, not enough time spent on the "How To" of our relationship with God, which is, after all, the whole point about all three books in this trilogy.

I firmly believe that this work is revelatory and is divinely inspired. God makes a point of saying that God never stops talking. When will we not just listen, but truely HEAR what God has been saying for thousands of years? Who says that a man in our day and age cannot be an inspired source as the prophets of old were? God can do what God wants, despite all of our wishes that WE be the ones in charge and not God. I have noticed that the press has given no credence to the SENSATION that these three works are! But God, who speaks thru whom God chooses and when God chooses, will not be stifled by bigotry, cynacism, or being ignored or being crushed by those who self appoint themselves in the name of organized religion and continue to teach the doctrine of fear as opposed to the rightness of love.

Book 3 did not even begin to answer many of MY questions, but did answer SOME questions. I noticed that some hot topics like abortion were judiciously (and perhaps prudently) avoided. Maybe Neil has the answers! Shall we go to Ashland Oregon and demand the answers he has failed to give us in three books?

All I can say is this: This isn't the last we will hear from God! Neil won't be the last messenger. And it won't be the last time that most who listen to God will not hear God and will not believe God. After all, don't most of us have somebody else to tell us what God said?

2-0 out of 5 stars What we all want to hear
I would be lying if I said that I wasn't compelled by page one to read this book. After all, it caters to what we all want be assured of. We have nothing to worry about at all! Everything we could possibly want is already existing. When we choose to have them, there they are! We no longer have to worry about the afterlife. We will have whatever we choose! I do think that Neale is retelling a lot of interesting metaphysical ideas, known through the ages and propogated by groups like the Theosophical Society. It takes away any of the urgency that the true mystics and saints of all the great religions have sensed, and given us a perfect post-modern template with which to live our lives. There is no real right and wrong! Whatever you do, its ok! Couched in the rhetoric of love and grace is the licence to experience whatever we want. What about 'God's will be done', not our own?

The danger with this book is that it aims to convince the reader that nothing we do will jeopardize our eternal selves and our relationship to God. True, I believe that the sacred does exist in the profane. But with this kind of licence, the reader is encouraged to live a life based not on principle, but out of desire. The urgency of the Gospel is forsaken. "Narrow is the Gate"... According to Walsch's 'god', the gate is boundless, and everything we do is really 'ok'. For truer guidance, try the "Philokalia" of Eastern Orthodoxy, or the New Testament. We shouldn't base our entire beings on our warm, fuzzy feelings. Human feelings are fickle!

Ken Wilber said it best, although I cannot remember his exact words. He said that a huge misconception of modernity is that we can be enlightened through reading. The more we read, the closer we are. Not true. Wilber has enough sense to know that true spiritual progress takes work. The sages of so many religions haven't been holing themselves away on vigils, fasts, comitted to prayer and meditation, because it is swank to do so.

Perhaps he understood in his own way that man has 'fallen' from grace, that the more we try to deify ourselves, our egoic personalities, the more we remove ourselves from the grace that is offered us. While sometimes a bit severe, the Orthodox fathers give much better guidance. Religion or 'spirituality' isn't just hearing what we want to hear. Christ said the world hated him because he showed them that what it does is at odds with the Father's will. That it is evil. We can white-wash it all we want, but the world is in crisis because man has lived primarily for himself and not for his Creator.

In our longing for truth, all we really want to hear is that 'everything is ok'. Many of the people I know who believe in the kind of philosophy presented in "Conversations" are clearly indulgent, addicted to pornography and other destructive fun. This book offers God's blessing to do these things and not feel guilty about it. So people can go on creating death and hurting people, and receive a kind of holy licence to do so.

Interesting concepts, but all in all, dangerous material to your well-being if you 'choose' to take it seriously.

5-0 out of 5 stars A marvelous end
I just finished this book recently...having already read book 1 and 2. I was so sad that this trilogy had to end. Although many concepts, ideas, suggestions are repeated over and over it is written in such a way that I felt like I was sitting right next to the author. This book is so very intimate and I felt as if I too was having a conversation with god. As with the other 2 CWG books, this is filled with practical solutions to any and every issue affecting our planet...from war to environment to personal relationships. What I have enjoyed most about the CWG series is the freedom. Never did I get the impression that the author was trying to shove information down my throat or threaten me with eternal damnation if I didn't agree with what he said. In fact, Mr. Walsch states clearly that he hopes the reader does not take the information in his books as the literal and only truth. Furthermore, he provides a list of other books...by other authors!! This book is not for the religious zealots who intend to 'spread' the word by throwing it at people. If you have an open mind and, more importantly, an observant mind then you will find this and the other 2 CWG books highly useful. I have never read anything regarding spirituality and life that made as much sense to me as the Conversations With God trilogy. Thank you Neale!!

1-0 out of 5 stars A complete lie
This book is an absolute lie. there is no such thing as on the fence, the bible itself says you can only serve one master. I think walsh should have spent more time doing biblical reseach than fooling the american public with this farce. There is right or wrong, and this book is all wrong and true Christians should know this. There is a hell and those who think riding the fence is ok will one day be sadly dissapointed. Book Description

The companion volume to The Earth Chronicles series that reveals the identity of mankind's ancient gods.

• Explains why these "gods" from Nibiru, the Anunnaki, genetically engineered Homo sapiens, gave Earthlings civilization, and promised to return.

• 30,000 sold in hardcover.Zecharia Sitchin's bestselling series The Earth Chronicles provided humanity's side of the story concerning our origins at the hands of the Anunnaki, "those who from heaven to earth came." In The Lost Book of Enki we now view this saga from the perspective of Lord Enki, an Anunnaki leader revered in antiquity as a god, who tells the story of these extraterrestrials' arrival on Earth from the planet Nibiru.

In his previous works Sitchin compiled the complete story of the Anunnaki's impact on human civilization from fragments scattered throughout Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Hittite, Egyptian, Canaanite, and Hebrew sources. Missing from these accounts, however, was the perspective of the Anunnaki themselves. What was life like on their own planet? What motives propelled them to settle on Earth--and what drove them from their new home? Convinced of the existence of a lost book that held the answers to these questions, the author began his search for evidence. Through exhaustive research of primary sources, he has here re-created tales as the memoirs of Enki, the leader of these first "astronauts." What takes shape is the story of a world of mounting tensions, deep rivalries, and sophisticated scientific knowledge that is only today being confirmed. An epic tale of gods and men unfolds, challenging every assumption we hold about our past and our future. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A novel approach to Sitchin
If you believe the moon shines only at night, you will love this book. If you are a fan of Zecharia Sitchin, as I have been for the last decade or so, you may be in for a shock, for in this book the author dramatically changes everything about his writing in comparison with his previous books, to the point that one may question if it is the work of a ghost writer.

In the first place, the entire book, with the exception of the Introduction (wherein it is stated, 'For the first time ever, this dispersed and fragmented material has been assembled and used by Zecharia Sitchin to re-create the eyewitness account of Enki.....'), the entire work is written in verse format, double-spaced.

Secondly, the architecture of the sentences is inverted with respect to normal English, with the verb usually appearing at or near the end. No doubt the reason for this type of structure was to create the atmosphere in which the author worked as he deciphered the ancient tablets, but this feature made the reading for me very slow and tedious, as I sought to reread each verse to untangle the various nouns and adjectives and adverbs and logically attach them to other parts of the sentence which were not in their accustomed places. Equally as surprising is the fact that there are absolutely no endnotes, references, citations, or illustrations which would tend to link the material to any deciphered existing tablets or other archaeological artifacts, or even Biblical references - the very things which gave his previous writings the illusion of a serious scientific hypothesis. In this regard, a library buff might be interested in noting the card catalogue classification of this and his previous writings.

Having gotten beyond all these initial shocks, one then might expect to sit back and enjoy what initially appears to be a recap of the various fragments of the story line dispersed throughout and revealed, many times out of sequence, in his earlier books. A careful reading and comparison, however, reveals that in the current version, many of the earlier details have been changed. Consider, for example, the fact that, until this book, the emasculation of Anu was accomplished by Kumarbi, the grandson of Alalu, whom Anu deposed; in the current book, the vile act was performed by Alalu himself. In the earlier versions, Kumarbi suffered and recovered from an illness as a result of ingesting the testicles, but in the current book Alalu died from swallowing them.

These are but a few examples of materials which contradict the author's earlier interpretations; there are also many places where totally new material is inserted, such as the attempted validation of the act of circumcision by the unsupported assertion that the Anunnaki were born without foreskins. Be prepared, therefore, for a work of total fiction, one difficult to navigate, and one not only out of character but also not too faithful to its author's earlier works. As a work of fiction, however, the failings are equally noticeable.

Most novels, particularly those which might be classified as science fiction, are realistic to the point that the events at least seem plausible. But when we are told that Nibiru was covered by a cloud of volcanic dust (which certainly would be highly toxic to all forms of life), through which no light could penetrate, and that, for most of its orbit, the sun was so far away that there was no significant source of light, we are left wondering (1) how the planet was covered with abundant vegetation, and (2) why the Anunnaki and other creatures from that planet ever developed eyes, when there was nothing to see. Alas, fan that I am, I can only implore Mr. Sitchin to do what he does best: namely to obfuscate his story line in convoluted reasoning and artifact citations, and leave the writing of raw fiction to others. Some books that excited my interest were, 'Unconventional Flying Objects' by Paul Hill, 'Alien Rapture' by Brad Steiger, and 'Alien Agenda' by Jim Marrs. I highly recommend all these books.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not For Someone Unfamiliar With Sitchin's Books/Theories
Unless you are already familier with Sitchin's other books and theories, I would not recommend this book. I admit to being totally unfamilier with Sitchin and pretty much unknowledgeable about this topic. It does give me some small level of interest in perhaps doing some further research on this subject though. I would certainly not suggest reading this book unless you already have some knowledge of ancient texts and their resulting theories of "pre-history."

I also found it difficult to read because of the syntax. It's a struggle to rearrange the verbs, nouns, prepositions, etc. in your mind into contemporary English grammar as you read this book. It's like reading an ancient text itself. If you don't mind doing that, then it would be okay I guess. I found it difficult to do. It made it hard to follow the story lines as well.

If you are already a Sitchin fan, then you might enjoy this book. But, for someone totally unfamilier with his works and theories, I would definitely NOT start with this book. Don't expect to just pick it up and read it like you would any other novel. For anyone at all who reads this book, I think it's important to remember that it is fictionalized. Maybe some of it is true and accurate but some of it is just hypothesis (not necessarily true at all).

I found this book difficult to read and, frankly, pretty boring. It was a real struggle to get through it. Remember, I am writing this review from the standpoint of someone who knows pretty much nothing about Sitchin's theories or his other books. It you are already knowledgeable of his works and like them, you might enjoy this book.

4-0 out of 5 stars The cost of answers is more questions, an LDS perspective
While I find much of the material plausible I do have many questions that would be great to have addressed. I do consider this work suspect in many ways, but it does give the mind a great exercize while raising eyebrows and dropping the jaw.

Coming from a LDS (Mormon) backgroud it's not a giant stretch to accept the notion that such beings could in fact be unwitting instruments in the hands of the "Father of All" to place upon yet another world souls of a new race of Man-kind, humans. Though they themselves near the end of the book conclude in retrospect this to be the case themselves even though they for selfish reasons fashioned us. God is obviously higher than these beings, but none-the-less, they served the role as "gods of men" as with mythological lore but likely they are not the God of mankind.

I'm left wondering if Enlil could have been Jehova and Enki Lord or visa-versa. Wish it weren't so fuzzy in these distinctions. Perhaps if I could examine old testament texts in a more native dialect it may be possible to distinguish two personalities working with the children of Abraham in the name of the One God.

It's very interesting to see how what the LDS refer to as the pre-existance and the "war in heaven" could in fact be accounted for in the behind the scenes actions among these celestial beings at the time of Sodom and Gomorrah when the "weapons of terror" were unleashed against the rebell Marduke.

It's sobering to see the kinds of mistakes made by these "gods" if indeed they do represent the direct benevolent representation of the One God to humans. I'm inclined to concur with those who suspect ALL of these are fallen hosts from Heaven and in essence represent a fallable group of non-divine beings.

It is also not too far of a stretch to presume the LDS concept of humans becoming gods is very likely a process much as these beings to the earth were and the manner in which they lived on their home planet with VERY high technology, historical understanding, etc. Perhaps the "lost sheep" are souls which need to be found and brought home as "prodigal sons".

There is a striking parallel between what Marduke is up to and what the LDS refer to as Lucifer's agenda to usurp all power and dominion to himself, as well as promote himself as even greater and more ascended than the father Anu, king of their homeworld. Marduke made himself to be worshiped as Ra in Egypt and Ra means bright one, the sun. Lucifer is from the same root meaning as Luminous. It is also understood that Marduke received his period of time to rule the earth and mankind has been subjected to His dominance according to a pre-set time.

Thus, we have a world leadership of evil where force has the mode of rule for millenia. We are now living in the days of the perfection of imperfection that when finally completed will last a mere brief moment until it's broken to pieces and Marduke's reign will be ended and the Christ return to earth to rule as it's rightful and benevolent king.

Praise be to God for our deliverance! May we be prepared.

1-0 out of 5 stars An Unfortunate Fiction
Though I often disagree with his interpretations, I have long been a stalwart fan of Sitchin, and reference his works often. However, this book, presented as if there were archaeological texts to back it up, is an out an out farce.

Throughout his previous works, Sitchin has always taken the position that the Anunnaki represented the "only" god system ever known on Earth, a concept that is plainly in error from a Christian point of view. I have steadfastly referenced the archeological texts concerning Alalu, Kumarbi/Zu, and Ullikummi and have found that there is absolutely no archeological evidence what so ever to indicate these beings were ever involved in the Anunnaki gold mining operation. There is, however, very sound archeological evidence in the Sumerian king's list, known to scholars as W-B/144, indicating Alalu and his descendents established Earth's first city, Eridu, prior to the Anunnaki rebellion led by Anu. In Christian terms, it is Anu, Enki and Enlil who represent the leaders of the "fallen angels". The evidence also indicates that Alalu had human children on Earth. It was Alalu's descendants, called "lulu's," who were the subject of Enki's rather insidious attempt to genetically manipulate mankind into slavery.

Furthermore, any attempt by Sitchin to connect Alalu's home world with Mars, shows a very clear lack of scholarship on his part. In Sitchin's third book, "The Wars of Gods and Men", (p.92) we find that Enki/Ea offers to take Kumarbi to the planet, "MAR.GID.DA," in order to consult with "Lama", who is the matriarchal ancestor of both Kumarbi and Anu. Anyone with access to a search engine can type in the word, MAR.GID.DA, and learn that it is a direct reference to the Big Dipper, not Mars. In antiquity, the Big Dipper was known as both the "Chariot of Heaven" and the "Plough of Heaven". One might conclude, therefore, that the Old Testament statements that, "They shall beat their swords into ploughshares," suggests that the Big Dipper and Alalu's descendants may ultimately play a very important role in the history of Earth. This conclusion is again backed up in the New Testament with the parable, "No man, having put his hand to the plough and looking back, is worthy of the kingdom of God." Once again, Alalu's probable association with Christianity is clearly referenced in The Book of Revelations, chapter 19, where the word "Allelula", (pronounced A.LA.LU.YA) appears four times.

I dare say, these easily verifiable facts are certainly enough to make anyone question Sitchin's interpretations, and most certainly should give any Christian considerable meat to ponder. The Egyptian myth concerning the beginning, Genesis one, is called "Sep Tepi." (See "Gods of Eden" by Andrew Collins or reference "Edfu Texts" online.) Collins makes a very good case for connecting Kumarbi and Alalu to "the first time", where they fight a tremendous battle with "serpent" deities called Aa and Wa, who undoubtedly were Ea and Ra. Kumarbi and Alalu lose the battle, and paradise sinks beneath the sea, and is called "the Island of the Trampling." The landmass rises again, only now there are new "gods" running the show, one of whom is called "The Lord, mighty-chested, who made slaughter, the Soul who lives on blood." These being then give birth to eight other gods, called "Shebtiu", which are called "the Ogdoad" in the Theban myths. The Ogdoad/Shebtiu then give birth to nine other gods, which correspond to the Egyptian Ennead, and eventually this race of Anunnaki gods, gives rise to the Horace Kings, the "Re-heraky" (Ra hierarchy) associated with the Egyptian sphinx, and the "royal blood" of the lion kings of both the Egyptian and Hebrew races.

It might also be wise of Sitchin fans to realize that his earlier ascertains that the Biblical numeral "666" is a reference to Ba'al, is clearly disputed by a great number very renown archeologists, Sir Wallace Budge being perhaps the most famous among them. (See "Amulets and Talismans", Budge) Throughout antiquity, the superstitious and war-torn people of the Middle East regularly wore amulets and charms to ward off evil spirits or bring them luck. They regularly inscribed their charms with "magic squares", a numerical system that Thoth, the serpent's other son, presumably taught the Levite priesthood. Even the common-folk knew what magic squares were, because they used them in their appeals to various Anunnaki deities. In essence, magic squares are blocks of numbers that produce the same sum whether they are added in horizontal rows, columns or diagonals. There were seven very well known magic squares, each corresponding to the following heavenly bodies, or "gods in our solar system; Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Mercury, the moon, and the sun. The numerals for the magic square of the sun added up to 666, and it is evident that the number is a reference to Ra/Marduk's "Solar Deity Complex."

In Egypt's oldest Theban creation myths, the Egyptian's credited the "god of the beginning" with the name "Amen", which is verified again by the apostle John, in Revelations 3:14. This deity, though recognized and honored by Thebes's earliest priesthood, was considered an unknown and "hidden" god; a god whose existence went so far back in time, the Theban priests knew very little about him. Up until the Tower of Babylon incident, which more than likely happened in centuries immediately preceding the year 2000 BC, "the Amen" was practically an unknown god in Egypt. The "confusion of tongues" very likely corresponds to the confusion in Egypt's history during this same time frame. John the Divine seems to suggest that Ra/Marduk committed the first known act of "identity theft" by adding the name "Amen" as a prefix to the name "Ra." The Christian records indicate Ra is a liar.

Though Sitchin's scholarship has certainly opened our eyes, the conclusions he presents are very questionable, particularly to anyone who actually makes the effort to reference his work. Let's put it this way... The words, "A.LA.LU.YA A.MEN! LAMB.MA MAR.GID.DA!" would clearly tell a different story than Sitchin does.

4-0 out of 5 stars Was an important point missed?
I am a huge fan of the "Earth Chronicles" and own Sitchin's other works as well. Possessing a deep love for mythology, religious symbolism and ancient texts, this is only natural for me. Still I am left to wonder if an important connection was missed.

Someone mentioned the development of other advanced societies, such as China, as being contemporaneous and ignored. Last year I stood in the Forbidden City and noticed first hand how the temple there so perfectly reflected exactly the construction, layout and religion of Sumer and Babylon. I found how many kanji "Chinese character" can be seen in image, meaning and pronunciation to have come from cuneiform. I noticed amazing artifacts connecting their history to Assyria and that of the Hebrews. I have no doubt of the validity of much of what is presented in these books. Still, was something missed?

That point is that Enki, when related to the Hebrew texts corresponds to Lucifer, also known as The Devil. The Annunaki, called "those who from Heaven to Earth came" or also translated as "those who fell from Heaven" represent Lucifer and his fallen angels. The bible speaks at length about this and even refers to them as "the gods of this world".

When the Akkadian flood legend and the Gilgamesh epic are looked at in this light and in light of the fact that this one system of belief spread throughout all the world, even crossing the oceans to the Americas, I am hard pressed to wonder how Sitchin, being such an in depth biblical scholar, could have missed such an important correlation of ancient texts and scripture. ... These books might be seen as a test for your discernment.
The Razors Edge, it is!

1-0 out of 5 stars This book was written to engender fear and confusion
This is a bit long but please read it all!
The positive reviews from the other posters and the topics in the table of contents made this book and its precursor quite appealing so I bought them both. I've read probably thirty very powerful spiritual books (like Autobiography of a Yogi, Conversations with God series, Ken Wilbur's works, Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East, Sri Aurobindo, Ken Carey's Starseed series, etc.) over the past 3 years and all of them produce that feeling of knowingness that this is Truth. Recently I've begun exploring channelings from the ET's and found some fascinating material in Marciniak's teachings of the Pleiadians and Pereira's Arcturian Star Chronicles. They all carry the same basic positive message concerning the New Age we are entering and that is that we (humanity) are indeed divine and the path to ascension is a process of self-discovery by raising one's consciousness. Many of these books warn that this expansion into the New Age (1987-2012) will bring about major changes to the planet (earthquakes, increased storms) and our species (more wars, suffering, etc.) They also talk about how there is a great deal of spiritual help to get through these times but there will also be an increase in the darker forces (unfriendly ET's like the greys) who will work hard to promote the escalating dramas and create polarity and confusion.

Voyagers I & II are just such books. They actually had me quite scared for a few days after I read them that humanity was ultimately doomed and the darker forces have the upper hand against the spiritual hierarchy and the lightworkers who work for peace and unity. The author claims she was abducted (may very well have been) by the evil ET's (the greys) but was also abducted later on by beneficent ones (whom she calls the Guardian Alliance) who trained her regarding the various tactics of the dark forces and how humanity can fight back. The first book starts out as quite believable because the author is articulate and seemingly well versed with incredible details of the various dark ET's and their agenda against humanity (probably because the info came from these sources). This begins to engender fear in the reader because the overall message is that these dark ET's have a whole array of powers over us that they can access against our free will to put us under their control. She then goes into extraoridinary detail of the solution or protection necessary to defend oneself which she refers to as "the science of the subconscious symbol codes, part of the reality construction system we refer to as Keylonta Mechanics". This quickly throws the reader into overwhelm as the description of the process and the physical terms she uses to describe it sound like complete gibberish. She goes into these incredibly detailed and confusing meditation/visualization procedures to ostensibly protect oneself. As if this isn't enough to freak you out, the book then goes into this incredible depiction of the intergalactic battle going on between the dark and light forces which has been raging for billions of years and Earth is in the middle of it beginning in 2002-2012 (hmmm, the book is published in 2001, I wonder why no one has ever talked about this before her). Here's what she says, "The only viable solutions to this progressively manifesting final conflict visitor drama are: Advanced Planetary Templar Complex Grid Work, through which the Halls of Amenti Star Gates and Earth's Vortex System can be protected from further Fallen Angelic Race infiltration; and personal self-generated DNA bio-regenesis of the dormant angelic human 12-strand DNA template, through which Advanced Planetary Templar Complex Grid Work can be run, and by which the human bio-energetic field can be healed and protected."

Ok, so that made absolutely no sense to you right? Well don't think having the books will make it any clearer. It tries to engender fear and confusion by saying mankind is doomed as this massive battle behind the scenes goes on and to save yourself you must employ our Keylonta science procedures. I decided to do some investigational work and checked out the website (azuritepress.com) and it was filled with an incredible amount of meditation/visualization tapes/cd's from many hours of seminars around the world that one can buy (at very high prices no less). Then I decided to look up the name and company of the only guy who endorsed the second book (no endorsements for book 1) -- Philip Gruber, Founder/Director of Quantum Access Group. I could find no company on the internet by this name nor anyone with this name who has any spiritual credibility.

I am convinced these books (and organization) are a very clever but insidious medium created to incite panic and fear among already confused humans. I say "already confused" because I'm pretty confident these "end times" we are heading into we may very well indeed witness chaos and polarity among humans as well as increasing overt extraterrestrial presence. The greys and other dark ET's may likely make their presence known as things start to get crazy but I can assure you these books will not clear things up for you. The dark forces feed off confusion and fear and cannot harm you at all if one stays centered in their own all powerful spirit -- the message of the ascended masters.

Use discernment people in these coming times, it may very well save your life. If the message creates fear and confusion then it most likely seeks to dis-empower and then you are vulnerable. Even worse, you will miss the upcoming ascension wave as addressed in Operation Terra -- a book that truly empowers.

Namaste!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow ...
One of my very best friends gave me Volume II to read.
I couldn't believe what I was reading ... I wanted more.
I bought Volume I and feel like finally someone has the real answers to the last 750 million years.
I am still digesting this stuff.
But alas, if you are not ready for it just flys right over your head. It is not an easy read but it does make sense in light of recent developments.
THis knowledge may be part of the new enlightenment.
Read it. Read it again.

4-0 out of 5 stars Still pondering
Anna Hayes book is definitely intriguing and thought provoquing , although far from an easy read. I am still not quite sure of what I think about it, as , almost a year on, it still pops in my head and I am still mulling it over.
But maybe that is exactly what a good metaphysical book should do.Leave you with more questions than it has answered.
I must admit, it is not one of the most enjoyable reads and at times my head simply struggled to understad what exactly Anna and the Guardian Alliance are trying to convey.
The information presented is very technical and a little frosty.
Not everything in this book resonates with me, but it has definitely made me think. As I was saying, a year on ...still thinking...so that must be good.
Much information about alien races and Kelontic Science ( this part does ring true).
A book to digest slowly. Maybe just so ahead of its time, it is difficult to grasp. Only time will tell. ... Read more

Book Description

During the evening hours of March 13, 1997, thousands of Arizona residents witnessed a mile-long, v-shaped formation of lights flying in the skies overhead. The UFO sightings garnered headline news, catching the attention of both USA Today and the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather.

One person, however, was not surprised by the appearance of the lights. Dr. Lynne Kitei was simply grateful that a phenomenon she'd been witnessing--and documenting--for months was being validated by the experience of thousands of people statewide. After the incident, Dr. Kitei preferred to stay in the background, anonymously feeding information and video clips to the many news organizations who wanted in on the story. Now, for the first time, Dr. Kitei comes forward to tell her own story. "The Phoenix Lights" is an exhaustively researched look at the phenomenon, including dozens of astonishing photographs and Kitei's own take on the wider implications of this remarkable event. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Much more than the Phoenix Lights
This brilliant and inspiring book isn't only about the Arizona mass sighting or detailed facts and amazing photos compiled by the author, a medical doctor, confirming the reality of Unexplained Flying Objects. This book is about transformation, a profound and important awakening that happens to individuals who experience an UP (an unexplained phenomenon, as Dr. Lynne puts it). By being courageous enough to articulately share her own personal journey into the unknown, she lends tremendous credence and comfort to millions of other experiencers around the world, including myself.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's About Time
I have followed the Phoenix Lights mystery for several years after having witnessed the strange lights myself on a visit to Arizona on March 13, 1997. I was thrilled when I saw that a new book had been written about it, especially from a witness who happened to be a medical doctor. Fortunately for me, what I discovered was an articulate account of a sincere and transforming personal journey, something I could actually relate to. The title of the book is right on. How comforting to know that I am NOT alone. I have had many questions myself that were answered beyond my expectation. I couldn't put the book down. Not to mention the photographs themselves. How incredible, yet credible, that Dr. Lynne had the forethought and dedication to document so much for us to consider, undeniable facts, not only in her written words, but in filming the Phoenix Lights on numerous occasion before and after the statewide incident. And now being brave enough to share them. Dr. Lynne is right on and she must know that she is not alone in her desire to get this out in the open, so the ridicule, secrecy and denial that have permeated the topic of the unexplained for far too long will take a giant step forward.

5-0 out of 5 stars Compelling!!
I have never witnessed an unidentified flying object nor have I had a near death experience. In the past I have been fascinated with discussions of these kinds of phenomena, but my logical, engineering personality would rationalize that there must be some other explanation. At the urging of a fellow engineer I picked up this book. I had no preconceived notion of it's contents and had never heard of the Phoenix lights. Therefore, I did not know what to expect when I got into the book. What I didn't expect was a convincing, detailed account of one doctor's search to discover the truth of what she personally witnessed in the skies over Phoenix. It is apparent that Dr. Kitei was fearful that her own credibility would be tarnished if she let if be known that she believed there was "something out there". Her tenacity fascinated me. Although I can say that the end of the book certainly provided the icing on the cake, without the detailed accounts and repeated questioning of herself, I know that I wouldn't have been convinced. Having read this book, I feel I have been taken on a journey that has left me feeling there is so much more I need to know....we all need to know. It's very compelling. Thank you Dr. Kitei for pursuing your answers and enlightening me.

5-0 out of 5 stars I Couldn't Put this Book Down
After not being able to put The Phoenix Lights down over the holiday weekend, I went directly to Amazon.com this morning to buy it as a gift for a number of my friends. When I read the mean-spirited and frankly incongruous review by Ken Wells I had to write this one. How could anyone, no matter how skeptical, not be impressed by what Dr. Lynne has accomplished in this wonderfully written book. Her dedication to detail, including never before seen personal photographs of the anomalous lights, the spiritual messages that permeate the book, and her ultimate wake-up call for humanity, that the reviewer obviously missed, make this a must read. This book is not only for those open to the positive potentials we possess as human beings - but even more importantly, for close-minded skeptics and dubunkers.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Phoenix Lights
I suggest that everyone not only personally read this book but also pass it on to all those you care about. Let there be no mistake, this is NOT a book about UFO's. This is a spiritual book containing details of actual happenings. The purposeful attention to detail that Dr. Lynne portrays throughout the book is done to dispel any doubts in the minds of critics and skeptics. The Phoenix Lights were observed by thousands of people of all walks of life. Dr. Lynne Kitei not only witnessed these lights but had been documenting them for a couple of years through video and pictures. Her scientific training and personal reputation propelled her to investigate and keep investigating. Each step of the way she uncovered more. However, the documenting and uncovering are not the key message. The key message is that we are not alone and we are all here for a purpose. Read it, think about it, then pass it on. This message can positively impact our current world turmoil. As a Chief Finanacial Officer for a Fortune 500 Company I speak from the place of requiring proof. You can't find more proof than this. ... Read more

Book Description

They Came To Earth Millions Of Years
Ago To Spread The Poison Of Hatred,
War And Catastrophe...

They Are With Us Still...

Human history is a seemingly endless succession of bloody conflicts and devastating turmoil. Yet, inexplicably, in the light of astonshing intellectual and technological advancement, Man's progress has been halted in one crucial area: he still indulges the primitive beast within and makes war upon his neighbors.

As a result of seven years of intense research, William Bramley has unconvered the sinister thread that links humanity's darkest events -- from the wars of the ancient pharaohs to the assissination of JFK. In this remarkable, shocking and absolutely compelling work, Bramley presents disturbing evidence of an alien presence on Earth -- extraterrestrial visitors who have conspired to dominate Humankind through violence and chaos since the beginning of time...a conspiracy which continues to this very day. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Break Your Chains!
This book deals with a controversial topic, alternative human history, or rather the dark side of human history occulted from the average person's world view. This is arguably one of the most fascinating fields of study, rivalled only by parapsychology. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find reliable sources on this subject, as many of them are based on "channelled" information or baseless conjecture. In "The Gods of Eden", William Bramley backs up all of his arguments with reliable sources. Furthermore, his research is not tainted by personal attachment to any particular belief system. He does an excellent job of bringing many neglected and obscured topics to light, some of which will permanently change the way you view the world, its governments, and especially religion.

William Bramley is a historian in his own right. His work essentially follows a certain mystery cult throughout history, from ancient times to present day, identifying its branches through their common symbols. He further explains the power that this group holds and its enormous influence throughout history on society and religion. He also theorizes for a short while on the nature of God and human souls. I found this section of the book lacking, as it was based on mere opinion, but still interesting and relevant for the most part. I did, however, enjoy the information on the much neglected topic of paper money and national debt. I was also pleased to find chapters on pharmacological deception, the UFO-cult connection, and the Black Death.

"The Gods of Eden" is a very solid primer on alternative human history, which will open up many doors of further research for the inclined reader. It also has the potential of liberating the average intelligent and open minded individual from the relentless clutches of our deceptively common paradigm.

5-0 out of 5 stars "Aliens Made Me Do It!"
Bramley contends in his book, The Gods of Eden, that aliens, via their elite and ultra-secret Brotherhood organizations, are the source of all human conflict. If one really thinks about this, it sounds suspiciously like that old refrain children use when they have done something bad- "the devil made me do it!".

Nonetheless, this book includes everything from New Age interpretations of the Bible, the political intrigues of various monarchies and dynasties all over the world, to a wide variety of conspiracy theories on everything from the Black Death of the Middle Ages, the motives behind the First and Second World Wars, and the link between the CIA and the JFK assassination. Literally, no stone, or shall we say, no major event in world history, is left un-turned.

Still, those who are curious enough to read this book completely will know exactly where various plot elements from hit Sci-Fi shows such as the X-files and Dark Skies, as well as many books based on the 'Aliens Are Among Us' theme, came from. For example, fans of John Doherty's Area 51 novel series can see how his story line literally comes from Bramley's work word for word- especially Doherty's plot element regarding alien involvement in the Black Death which pops up in a couple of his novels. Furthermore, Bramley's work is closely akin to the scholarly works of Zecharia Sitchin, the sensationalist accounts of Erich von Daniken and Jim Marrs, and the New Age interpretations of Graham Hancock and Rand Flem-Ath.

However, the book does have its good points. First, it does a very good job of outlining the link between economics and war. Second, it presents the reader with a very thorough and detailed explanation of the world monetary system, how it works, and raises the interesting question of who really controls nations- the elected leaders or the money-men. Finally, not only do the contents of the book serve as good fodder for an alien novel or a conspiracy yarn, the book itself can be read and enjoyed as a grand historical conspiracy with colorful alien ( I am thinking of Count St. Germain) and human characters- both good and evil.

Yet, there is one very disturbing element to this book. By saying that all human suffering is caused by aliens, either directly, or via their various Brotherhood organizations such as the Freemasons, the Knights Templar, or the Islamic Assassins, it seems to me that Bramley is absolving the human race of all wrong-doing. True or not, aliens or extraterrestrials, be they 'Custodians', 'Alien earth owners', or 'Caretakers', may very well be instigating conflict within the human race, but it is humanity that pulls the trigger or drops the bombs, nonetheless. By way of analogy, if one of the zealous members of the Third Reich had told the judges at the Nuremberg trials that it was Hitler and the SS that ran everything, and that he or she was just an errand boy simply 'following orders', would that absolve him or her for their crimes against humanity? Machievellian involvement of extraterrestrials in human affairs aside, this reviewer firmly believes that ultimately, we humans are responsible to ourselves, and others, for our own actions.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money
BAAAAADDDDDD...... he is. I'd swear he is L. Ron Nutcase's son. Farfetched, even if you suspend disbelief it doesnt even make a good Sci-Fi read. Is it a college prank gone bad?

3-0 out of 5 stars The conspiracy theory's ultimate extreme
This books is somewhat thought provoking, but much of it is ridiculous and laughable. There seems to be a great deal of research of some kind in it. Read this just for fun. Bramley is right to question things. Like everything, you'll have come up with your own answers

5-0 out of 5 stars Very informative and well researched
This book might make you think. You may even see how such events go on today in our own world and society. Not for the a religion conformist at heart. Read at your own risk ! Based on 7 years of extensive research on many topics. ... Read more
