5-0 out of 5 stars UFOs Are Real, and this Book Shows you the Proof
I found Sgt. Stone's book a masterpiece. It proves to me that the US Government is aware of UFOs, Actively engaged in learning more about UFOs, and is actively hiding these truths from us the people and the US Congress. Having read the book, and having heard Sgt. Stone on many radio programs, I was so impressed that I went to his home and interviewed him. His personal story is even more intriguing. His research is so great because he was there. He was part of the secret for many years. He knew where to look for proof of the TRUTH. UFOs Are Real.

Good for background information. If you want a good fiction book about UFOs that might as well be real check out AREA 51 by Robert Doherty.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Book is filled with useful materials.
The book mainly contains documents related to existance of such secret projects as Majestic 12, Project Blue Fly, etc. It has a lot of declassified reports of pilots flying and sighting UFOs, detailed descriptins, etc. This book is a must read for anyone, who really wants to know what the government was up to, for the last ohhhh...50-60 years. You won't believe the stuff this book has. Best of all the guy who wrote this book, was the one to work for US Government, and he investigated UFO sightings. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Who are we and from where we come?
Erich von Däniken is probably the first reference among researchers, who believe that our origins are extraterrestrial. Although he has no official academical degree (sometimes this is even better, because you are not occupied with conventional knowledge), he reads and thinks a lot and also travels to see all the monuments he is talking about. In his work much of Strabo's and Herodotus's writings are quoted. They have travelled over Egypt some 2,000 years ago and have recorded the existence of pyramids, great labyrinth and other things, which either haven't been found again in our times or are still not deciphered. As Zecharia Sitchin has shown in his book "Stairway to Heaven", Khufu's hieroglyph is a forgery made by Col. Vyse. Pyramids of Fourth Dynasty have no inscriptions. Why have newer pyramids been built smaller and technologically inferior to those and why are they inscribed? Such "alien" theories are always somehow hard to digest. We were taught that science is always very exact and measurable, but is more than obviously not. Czech patent No. 93304 proves that pyramids are energetic channels, although there is no good explanation, why this energetic phenomena happens (it's about sharpening of blades inside replica of Great pyramid). If the Great Labyrinth hasn't been found yet, that doesn't mean that it hasn't existed. Herodotus has proven in his works that he knew what he was writing and we credit him for that. But when we come to the things he wrote and cannot be seen now, then he certainly exaggerated the whole thing or even made it up :))). Maybe everything written here isn't true. Maybe it's Zecharia Sitchin's view that's right. Maybe none is. But this theories are by my opinion as solid as Darwin's is. All of them have lacks and holes. Only difference is that Darwin is official science and others are not. But I believe them more.

3-0 out of 5 stars Shame about the writer
The ideas of von Daniken are indeed thought provoking, especially in the fisrt part of the book. It's a shame that he gets carried away about half way and especially in the end. By that time he has to tell the world about his personal grudges with people and organisations. What further got my attention is that he acuses them of things he is guilty of in the very same book. For example of 'them' not being open to suggestions and ridiculising his ideas. He carries on ridiculising their ideas.

It is clear, when you read this book, that Von Daniken is very self-indulged. He's right, and 'they' are wrong. As said, his ideas are very thought provoking and inspirational. It's a shame that he has to utter them in such a nasty way. This doesn't make the book easy to read (for me) because I was constantly irritated by his way of putting things. This book, however, is much more sientificly correct than some of his previous, and shows that he does study a lot.

1-0 out of 5 stars Barely about aliens
It isn't until the 3rd chapter which is 115 pages into the book that any hint of aliens is eve mentioned. And when they are, its brief and pretty much info restated from Chariots of the Gods. There's more talk of aliens on the back cover than throughout the book. Most of the book talks about Egypt history and about the pyramids, which is fine if you're interested in that stuff. but I'm not, I wanted to see all the new evidence of aliens like the cover says but it didn't happen.

As for his credibility: I don't care. I wanted to merely be entertained by this and instead of was boring. There's one really interesting thing about the special powers that any pyrmid shape can have and the results of experiments used with these.

If you wanna know about the pyramids shafts and Egypt history, then get this book. If you wanna know about aliens building the pyramids like this book says it will explain, don't get this book. What a waste of time and money.

1-0 out of 5 stars Misleading Pseudoscience
This book is completely misleading. I had to read it for a class on myths in Archaeology, where we discussed the factual basis for aliens in ancient Egypt and other claims. However, Von Daniken has no factual basis for this book. He twists the truth, misquotes other authors, leaves out pertinent evidence, and outright lies to his readers, all because he thinks that ancient extraterrestrials visited the earth. His "research" is solely based on what he wants to believe, not facts. Don't waste your money.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Daniken fan will like this book
A big part of the book is mostly Egyption history. He talks about the dating of the pyrimids was a fraud, which is very interesting. He gets into the Enoch subject for a while and much more. A Daniken fan will love this book ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars This Book Is Wrong
There Is No Government Mind Control. I Deny It. Support Our Troops. Pay Your Taxes. Re-Elect Bush. John Kerry Is Anti Christ. Thank You.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just Another Victim
As a victim of MK-Ultra and other government-led mind control activities, I must say that Mr. Keith has hit the nail on the head.

I encourage you to protect yourself using alumimum film.

5-0 out of 5 stars New World Order Mind Control!
This book may seem nutty. And, it would be easy to dismiss Jim Keith as nothing more than a paranoid crank. But, let's remember, as the saying goes, Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they're not out to get you! And, there's truth in this saying. Jim Keith is an individualist. He doesn't like the up-and-coming Hegelian superstate in it's Marxist or Nazi forms. And, he doesn't like the way the coming New World Order could bring it about, so that a handful of elites profit from and control the many. And, what better way for the elites behind the New World Order to be able to enslave us all than to directly manipulate and control our minds. This is the rationale behind mind control as Jim Keith sees it. Only distinctions as preserved in national constitutions can ensure our freedom.

In this book, Jim Keith outlines the history of the New World Order, from H. G. Wells' "fictional" accounts, to Cecil Rhodes, to the Rockefellers, the Nazis, communists, freemasons, the Illuminati, and the Council of Foreign Relations. He then explains how the New World Order elites (bankrolled by Rockefeller foundation grants) have been able to take control over the psychiatric establishment and set up various institutes (the Tavistock institute) to create methods of mind control and "societry". As Jim Keith says, "And now you know why shrinks look so weird and often have nervous tics. They have been taught that they do not have a soul." Ha! He examines the CIA's role in the implementation of these mind control techniques, in the form of MK-ULTRA, in the alleged creation of cults, in the creation of assassins, in the direct implantation of mind control transceivers (pioneered by the Yale psychiatrist Dr. Jose Delgado) in the brains of innocent victims, in the use of "death rays" (e.g. HAARP), and through the projects MONARCH and RHIC-EDOM. Much that he says is mere guess work. And, many of the "victims" of mind control are obviously schizophrenics. However, should a single one of these instances be confirmed that is one instance too many. Whatever part of this book you choose to believe, you simply cannot deny that mind control experiments exist/have existed. This much is fact. They have been implemented on the general populace. Jim Keith does a good job of pointing out those cases that appear to be nothing more than hoaxes or the product of delusional minds. However, beneath it all is the presence of a powerful elite trying to implement mind control technologies and using unwitting victims as guinea pigs.

Be forewarned! This book is horrifying. You won't be able to think of the various cult tragedies and mass suicides that have appeared in the news in the last ten years in the same light ever again.

Down with the New World Order! It's time we reclaim our freedoms.

4-0 out of 5 stars Have your aluminum foil ready!!!
Mr. Keith does an excellent job of demonstrating how the technology to simulate and/or control one's mind exists, and has been in use for years. Great chapter on supposed alien abductions.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good chronology of events; lacks depth & personal knowledge
Having read my fair share of mind control books and resources, I found Keith's book to place events in an easy-to-understand chronology. He also tells it like it is as far as the New World Order plans for mind control. Unfortunately, he didn't take the time to research some aspects of documented mind control knowledge.

I was disappointed to see that Keith based his opinions of an "alleged" Project Monarch on two sources. He also cited no documented evidence of such project. It is well documented that the CIA destroyed many MK-Ultra documents in the 70s and that the U.S. Army destroyed many of its records. Project Monarch was a covert operation and performed primarily on children (who are now primarily ages 30 to 50). There is no proof. Only victims. Perhaps Keith could have taken the time to visit the ACHES-MC website and found victims and further resources for this type of government abuse to provide a more accurate chapter.

As Mel Gibson states in "Conspiracy Theory" when asked by Julia Roberts if he has any proof to his claims of mind control, "If I had proof, it wouldn't be a conspiracy." ... Read more

Book Description

Shows that Earth was visited by an extraterrestrial race who bioengineered modern man in its image and taught man how to construct the pyramids

• Examines the flaws in Darwin's theory of evolution and presents startling new evidence of intelligent intervention • Reveals the messages coded in the pyramids left by the ancients concerning impending Earth changes at the end of the Mayan calendar • 30 b&w photographs

For millennia the development of humanity showed a consistent homogenous pattern. Then suddenly, around 5000 B.C., great civilizations sprang up around the globe. All the creation myths of these civilizations tell of gods who came down to Earth and fashioned man in their own image, teaching them the arts of agriculture and civilized life. In addition, the dominant architectural design in Egypt, Sumeria, Peru, Mexico, and China was the pyramid, though science has never been able to explain why or where these peoples obtained the advanced technological knowledge to construct such edifices. The abruptness and similarities of these evolutionary leaps calls into question the Darwinian theory of evolution, given that there are no traces of any intermediate evolutionary forms.

Now, using the most current research on DNA, Will Hart shows that these gods were actually visitors from other worlds who genetically engineered modern humanity from the beings that then inhabited the planet. He also suggests that the Bible and other creation stories have been interpreted falsely as myth when they should have been read as history. The structures left by our ancestors were designed in accordance with precise astronomical and geodetic alignments to make them visible from outer space and to survive for thousands of years with the intent of communicating information relating to physical and temporal events. Humanity's current stage of development has finally reached the point where the secret messages of these structures can be decoded to reveal the fate of humanity in the coming Earth changes. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars For beginners only!
I'll make this real quick. This book is basically a re-hash of existing material written in greater depth by others, such as Zechariah Sitchin's series of books starting with the "12th Planet". This book really isn't even good enough for beginners on the subject, as the author jumps from subject to subject with little continuity. This is at best an appetizer for the main course.

4-0 out of 5 stars Many directions leading to another view
Not a new theory--that we are the result of extraterrestrial visitations at the dawn of civilization. Hart's story generally mirrors Zechariah Stitchin's and Erich von Danigan's beliefs. However, the book is anchored less in specific myths and takes a more thoughtful and general approach. Hart comes at the issue from many directions, contending that "cultural darwinism" does not explain the spotty, but nearly simultaneous, leaps toward civilization occuring in China, Mesopotamia, India and the New World. The Extraterrestrials, he believes, are basically like us, not ET. He says nothing regarding where they originate or why they came. He misses the obvious alternate theory, that "superior humans" who founded these civilizations are remnants (or returnees) of prior civilizations destroyed by cyclic cataclysms. A good book pulling together a lot of facts in a reasonably compact space.

3-0 out of 5 stars Well written, intriguing, imaginative, but fatally flawed
This is a work of fiction and an entertaining one at that, for I did enjoy this book and the possibilities that it tried to present. Ultimately, however, it fails due to some specific errors. Many facts seem to have been borrowed from von Daniken and Sitchen, and entire paragraphs seem to have been paraphrased from these other authors. (Which one would never know unless one had read those specific books).

The tenet of this book is that singular Yahweh-God (omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent) did create the universe, Earth, and life, but that advanced alien Elohim-gods (humanoid) genetically engineered homo sapiens sapiens. The author's interpretation of Genesis 1 and 2 is intriguing in this way, but it just doesn't make sense. The author treats writing, the wheel, domesticated animals, building of cities, channeling of water, and basic metallurgy as magic gifts from these Elohim-gods to the Sumerians (the first advanced civilization on Earth that we know of). But the author fails to take into account that much can happen over a period of 4,000+ years! He assumes that going from hunter-gatherer to city-building (with the other associated technologies) is too extraordinary to have come about on their own, so aliens MUST have helped them. Come on, it was 4000 years at least from the earliest discovered hunter-gatherer settlements to the Sumerians (based on modern archaeology). If you look back on our history just 200 years ago, no one would have dared believe what our civilization has achieved today. Walking on the Moon? Preposterous. 4000 years is not too long a time at all for hunter-gatherers to gradually discover brass, tin, iron, the wheel, animal domestication, and the like. These are very primitive technologies. If advanced aliens were involved, wouldn't they have given these humans more? If one is going to influence a primitive race, why stop with writing and agriculture? Why not give them TV and video games?

After preaching up the fantastic qualities of the Sumerians, the author then proceeds to destroy them with the even-better Egyptians, which presumably came about from Sumerian emigrants? I don't know, but supposedly Egypt conquered Sumeria and absorbed it. If the Sumerians had help from the gods, I guess the Egyptian gods were more powerful.

The problem with the story so far is that the author doesn't spend enough time with the Sumerians, which would have been the key to the book, and quickly jumps into the Egyptians, Mayans, Chinese, and so on. Von Daniken has already done Egyptian pyramidology and the like, we don't need more of it. I wanted concrete examples of fantastic things the Sumerians did, but ultimately, the author fails to convince. What cannot be done over a period of thousands of years?

This is a recent book, November 2003, and yet the author does not seem to know some of the latest findings in Egyptology which pretty much put Von Daniken and the rest out of business. The Egyptians surely did not quarry, smoothen, move, and place 75-ton blocks. Absolutely impossible and ludicrous. We cannot do that even today. They discovered the secret of concrete and literally built their stones on-site. Scientists have proven that the blocks of the great pyramid were fashioned, not quarried, by using penetrating radar (or some other technology) to measure the consistency of the blocks. This showed extremely consistent material throughout, which one would not find in naturally occurring stone. It would also explain how the Egyptians were able to make their stones so smooth and fit so precisely. The great pyramid is made of concrete, folks. (I don't have references, just look this up on the Web, I saw it on Discovery Channel). This is how the Egyptians built the Great Pyramid in an estimated 20 years. That the author did not take this into consideration further shows that he borrowed most of his research from Von Daniken and Sitchin, which are not up to date.

Yes, the Great Pyramid is also "amazingly" situated perfectly due north. Not really. It's a few degrees off true north, which means the Egyptians were using a particular star for due north (we know this from drawings the Egyptians made, and they documented this very much). That original star (not the north star that we know of today) has moved a certain amount in the interim and is no longer due north. By calculating that movement using modern astronomy, it shows that the great pyramid was situated at due north about 4600 years ago around 2600 B.C.(here I do have some references, read it up at http://www.metrum.org/measures/dimensions.htm). This date corresponds with archaeological dating methods. Modern science verifying archaeology and explaining the building technology. Why do we need aliens now?

Another mistake the author makes is in presuming that Neanderthals were genetically inferior to humans. Recent studies have shown that Neanderthals are genetically identical to modern humans. Yes, they had some minor differences in appearance, but no more so than we have today.

If these Elohim-gods really developed on another planet, were a million years ahead of humans, and travelled all the way here to Earth, why would they genetically engineer the hominids, give them some basic technology, and then abandon them? The author suggests that these aliens lived among the humans, interbred with them, and over time simply died off, leaving their offspring intermingled with humanity. This was perhaps the most interesting aspect of the book, and was intriguing, but again, the author failed to convince. Taking a few references out of the Bible is not enough. It is all complete speculation and heresay.

So, in summary, I enjoyed the book as it piqued my interest in the pre-historic world, but it completely falls apart by even a well-read layman such as myself. I might have enjoyed the book better were it even remotely believable, but you don't need aliens to build a pyramid out of concrete, and you don't need aliens to invent the secrets of writing and farming. I cannot recommend it to any Christian friends since the author blasphemes God in a terrible way out of utter ignorance of the scripture ("Let US make man in our image" refers to the Triune God, the Trinity of Father/Son/Holy Spirit, not to a race of aliens). Almighty Yahweh-God created everything, but it's really the humanoid Elohim-gods who planted the Garden of Eden and created humans in their image? Not at all. Jahweh is "GOD" in whole, while Elohim reveres God's triune nature. The author is just showing his lack of understanding the scriptures. Genesis 2 is, in fact, describing Genesis 1 in more detail, from a new point of view. For more on this point, read Hugh Ross' book The Genesis Question, which was very helpful for me to quickly deduce the flaws in The Genesis Race. 3 stars for writing a work with entertainment value at best (and for tempting me to believe the possibilities).

5-0 out of 5 stars Thought provoking alternative history
The author discusses the concept of myth, with reference to Sumeria, Babylon and Troy that turned out to have been real, and the Great Flood, a myth which is found in more than 200 cultures around the world and may be based on events during the end of the last ice age.

He looks at ancient Sumeria, Mexico and Peru and discusses the advanced mathematics of these so-called primitive peoples. Ancient Egypt and Mohenjo Daro are also investigated, as is the sudden appearance of domesticated plants and animals.

The sections on metallurgy, ice ages, cataclysms and the mysterious Civilization X are never less than gripping, as is his discussion of chronological cycles, the Maya calendar and our possible cosmic ancestry.

Hart reaches the same conclusion as Von Daniken and Sitchin: humanity is the result of a genetic cloning experiment by an advanced race that lived among their creatures in ancient times. The Genesis Race provides fascinating reading and those who enjoy this book will also benefit from reading the works of Zecharia Sitchin. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars The Truth is Indeed Out There ...
But finding it is the real story. Nuclear scientist Stanton Friedman offers armchair UFO enthusiasts and debunkers an amazing view inside the world of UFO committees and conferences, hoaxed pictures and documents, the government's many records archives, unexplained UFO sightings, and the difficulties of obtaining information through the so-called "Freedom of Information Act". Although Friedman plainly states his pro-UFO sentiments, he nevertheless takes a scientific approach to analyzing the alleged MJ-12 government documents, code-named "MAJIC", anonymously leaked to fellow researchers Bill Moore and Jaime Shandera. After endless hours of archival research, dozens of dead-ended requests, interviews with relatives of deceased government officials, and his own attempts to prove the documents false through massive fact gathering, Friedman's inarguable conclusions add a startling and new dimension to what actually happened near Roswell in 1947, and bring to light the subsequent government and military activity designed to keep it secret. His dogged empirical analyses of each document is a fascinating detective story, one that will easily hold the attention of any reader interested in sifting through rumor, gossip, innuendo, and disinformation to reach a logical conclusion of fact.

5-0 out of 5 stars Extraordinary book
Since Stanton Friedman is not only a nuclear physicist but is probably the most well-known personality in the the UFO field, it behooves us to pay attention to what he has to say about the subject of UFOs.

I have read his captivating and intriguing book TOP SECRET/MAJIC three times and recommend it highly for those interested in the most famous UFO case of all time -- Roswell.

The Roswell case is vitally important because if it happened, and I believe it did, this means at least one alien craft crashed on this planet and was recovered along with bodies. Those looking for proof regarding the existence of UFOs will find perhaps the most significant pieces of it here in this book.

By reading this book it will become evident to you that the powers that be consider Roswell to be one of the most, if not the most, highly classified matter of our time.

In my view, this book is a necessary read for the serious seeker of truth regarding the UFO phenomena.

And I wouldn't pay too much attention to those reviews you see that are critical of this book/author where said person did not include their name. If the critical person didn't have the courage to put their name on their own opinion then we have to wonder why.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent book
I am writing this review to counter Reticuli's overwhelmingly negative picture. First off, I find that he would dismiss the large body of evidence for a coverup simply stunning. His rationale appears to be that because some phonies have made rather wild allegations (ie: Bill Cooper and Bob Lazar) there isn't a coverup! Stanton Friedman has never supported these people and is in fact quite a vocal debunker of these fantasies. There are many perfectly credible witnesses for a coverup; Majors, Sergeants, Generals, etc.

Reticuli does not mention the Eisenhower Briefing Document once (the focus of this book), dismisses SOM 1-01 as a forgery without offering any arguments (regardless of it's authenticity or lack thereof, the book does not make a position on it either way), and spends most of his time debunking connections with documents which are not mentioned once in the book, with the exception of the Cutler-Twining memo. I can't help but wonder if Reticuli didn't just visit the Wood's website (since he seems to be taking issue with their content) and decided to write from ignorance and smear by association.

Friedman's book is a profoundly important work that has not been debunked since it's publications. I recommend it to anyone with an open mind.

1-0 out of 5 stars Monica Lewinski had Top Secret Clearance, too.
From all the available evidence it is apparent to me that the U.S. Government does not have an active, organized effort to either investigate or conceal the existence of aliens visiting Earth. Most of those who say this either have no first hand knowledge or are individuals who are known crackpots who've made numerous claims over the years, usually with escalating irrationality. Take the case of the Disclosure Project. They have a former intelligence officer who says in a strange incident his team witnessed a craft with occupants one time and someone got shot with a beam. His background and his character check out. He's probably telling the truth. Disclosure Project then uses a known crackpot with longtime involvement in various saucer groups, who keeps changing his story over and over, to "corroborate" the other guy's story and to further add that the U.S. Navy has an active saucer recovery unit. See how that works? The legitimate ones are being grouped in with the lunatics, co-opted if you will by the conspiracy nuts. None of the legitimate, rational eyewitnesses are saying they've been personally involved in a cover-up.

With the Majestic/MAJIC story, we are finding the use of real documents unrelated to UFO's being grouped in with hoax documents. The manual for the recovery of UFO's and all documents that mention 'Majestic 12' are forgeries. The FOIA connecting documents which are being used to verify these hoax documents either have no connections to Majestic 12/MAJIC or have absolutely nothing to do with UFO's at all. The primary document obtained through the Freedom of Information Act being used to validate the aforementioned hoax documents is an Emergency War Plan pertaining to nuclear war. These evolving war plans were given codenames over the years such as Halfmoon, Fleetwood, Trojan, Offtackle, Masthead, and Majestic. While in the beginning they were mostly target packages, they became increasingly complex to the point of including psychological warfare, communications, and logistics planning. This document is real, but it has absolutely nothing to do with aliens.

The other frequently mentioned authentic document is the Cutler-Twining memo, which simply mentions a National Security Council Special Studies Project by the name of MJ-12...nothing more. So let me repeat myself: There is not a single authentic document in existence that can connect the terms Majestic or MJ-12 to UFO's and aliens. There are some non-UFO FOIA documents that use variants of these terms. There are some historical FOIA documents that show the government puzzled as to what is flying around. And there are a bunch of forgeries that attempt to connect the two. And MAJI is simply an acronym for Major Agency for Joint Intelligence, commonly referring to international intelligence cooperation and liaison, such as between the U.S. and Canada. The only other term that comes close would be MAJCOM, which appears on certain early Project Bluebook documents. However, this is simply an abbreviation of Major Command, often used when putting a notation at the bottom of a document such as "Forward Copy to MAJCOM-2", a designation for a specific military command. Friedman's got nothing but a bunch of forged documents and crackpot witnesses to support his theories, and this is from an abductee!

4-0 out of 5 stars Anatomy of a Controversy
A controversy rages about the authenticity of the documents upon which this book is based. It is a controversy which must exist because of the nature of the subject matter. These documents were provided anonymously, and supposedly give evidence for the existence of a highly secret council within our government whose main purpose was to control public knowledge about UFOs.

Secret government agencies such as the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Reconnaisance Office, and many others, are not solely engaged in intelligence gathering. They are also involved in information management. For that reason alone, one cannot unquestioningly accept the main thesis of this book. The possibility remains that the whole set of documents, or a major portion of them, were deliberately forged and given out as disinformation to create controversy and dissention among the ranks of UFO investigators.

In spite of all the doubts about whether this book speaks the truth in every detail, in general terms there is a great deal of truth to the message given. Stanton Friedman has the credentials, the knowledge, and the investigative ability to do as thorough a job as anyone could have done with this subject. He also does an excellent job of presenting the material in an informative and entertaining manner.

This book is definitely worth reading, but for most people, an additional education on the history of UFOs is necessary to provide the right mental framework for this book. This education is obtained by a reading some of the best serious literature on UFOs. To read this book without having that context is hard to imagine.

New Year's Eve 1982 marked the beginning of one of the most puzzling UFO cases in recent times: the Hudson Valley "siege." The siege begot over 7,000 sightings of a boomerang-shaped craft or crafts moving silently through the sky over New York and Connecticut between 1982 and 1995. Night Siege is the collaborative effort of Hynek, Imbrogno, and Pratt to report the data gathered from witnesses of this mystifying experience, without speculation of what it might be. If you missed the first edition of Night Siege, this is your chance to delve into the Hudson Valley mystery. If you have read the first edition, you may be interested in the additional data covering sightings from 1986 to 1995, the graphical analysis of the UFO's appearance, and the chronology of the sightings. Aside from the purely factual value of the catalog of reports in Night Siege, its coverage of an undeniable series of events that somehow went largely untouched by the local authorities and the national media invites speculation into the origins of these silent objects. --Brian Patterson ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book!
This is definitely becoming a comedy. To the people out there who say they saw the ultralight planes and laugh at those who thought it was a UFO, I say this to you: IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOU SAW THE ULTRALIGHT FLYERS BUT NEVER SAW THE ACTUAL UFO? Indeed, some of the sightings may have been of a formation of small planes, perhaps even the Stormville Flyers as they were called. However, some of the sightings were made on nights when all conventional aircraft were grounded due to the weather, and some were made on nights when observers watching the Stormville airport reported no planes took off from there. Many people who saw both the small planes flying and also saw the UFO said there was no comparison between the two, it was easy to tell them apart.

In Belgium in 1994, in Arizona in the late 90s (not the Phoenix flares) and in Illinois in 2000. Giant black triangles were reported by credible people and seen by hundreds if not thousands. Air traffic controllers & police officers, trained observers, were all eyewitnesses. They didn't know exactly what they were seeing, but they did know this: THOSE WERE NOT ULTRALIGHT AIRCRAFT. Was it the famous Stealth Blimp that was recently reported in Popular Science? I don't know, but who does?

This book will give you a great start if you want to find out.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pre-Review
I have bought this book as a fan of the intersection between reality and fantasy. As a resident local to the citings with the knowledge of what really happened, I am fascinated by the ability of a few creative people to create such a legend. The UFOs were after dark observations of a small group of small planes (not ultralights) who combined flight patterns and light patterns to look like possible UFOs. They succeeded, although their hands were slapped lightly when it was all uncovered because the flying did break some FAA rules. So I'm looking forward to the read, good or bad it is human legend. It made the area a classic site for UFO sitings.

3-0 out of 5 stars Plato's Cave Projected Onto the Hudson River Valley Skies
Despite its ominous title, Night Siege: The Hudson Valley UFO Sightings by Dr. J. Allen Hynek, Philip J. Imbrogno, and Bob Pratt is a sensible, sober book on the subject of unexplained aerial phenomena. Witnesses to the events and active participants in the investigation during the period described, the authors have limited the book to examining the dramatic 13 - year UFO wave that took place over the Hudson River Valley from 1982 through 1995. During that period, the UFOs were seen by an estimated 7,000 people and reported to authorities by at least a tenth of that number.

The "boomerang - shaped," brightly - lit UFOs behaved like brazen tricksters and interactive provocateurs during their reign of the night skies. Most often described as "bigger than a football field," the silent objects flew less that 500 feet above heavily populated commercial and residential areas, stopped traffic on freeways, turned sideways and spiraled through the air like Ferris wheels, dived into and flew out of bodies of water, hovered over single homes and cars for minutes on end, responded to lights flashed in their direction with dramatic light displays of their own, and disappeared over the horizon in bursts of unbelievable acceleration. Several witnesses reported that the objects dematerialized - or "vanished" - right before their eyes.

On the night of July 24th 1990, an enormous, apparently nonchalant UFO hovered over the Indian Point Nuclear Reactor Complex and came within thirty feet of the only reactor in operation. Awestruck plant personnel had the object on camera for more than fifteen minutes, and were given tentative orders to shoot it down. Helpless police officers confronted the UFOs and repeatedly explained to panicked callers that they did not know what the objects were. The FAA reported that witnesses were seeing nothing more than small lightweight planes flying together in formation, an explanation few accepted. The national media ignored the sightings year after year.

However, identically - described objects were reported in the area as early as the mid - Fifties, and have been reported in subsequent decades from countries all over the world. Commonly known today as "black triangles," a number of theorists - experts and amateurs alike - believe the triangles are the product of United States "black operations" military programs. The most common theory is that the objects are enormous "solid dirigibles," or "stealth blimps," that function as transportation systems for large numbers of soldiers and masses of heavy equipment.

Were the Hudson Valley UFOs secret advanced - model solid dirigibles? If so, why did they repeatedly fly over areas where they would inevitably be seen by a great number of affluent, educated people? What practical purpose could their colorful, complex light patterns have had? If the objects were created to carry government troops, why has no soldier come forward to discuss his or her experience on such a vessel? If the United States has access to such incredibly advanced technology, why weren't these ships utilized in recent wars? Why are the United State's space shuttles still built with comparatively rudimentary and unreliable technology?

Though the presented evidence often seems highly credible, it is difficult to accept that the United States government, as it is generally understood to exist, can presently create and control objects like those reported here. Nor is there any sound reason to believe that the Hudson Valley UFOs were extraterrestrial craft. Interpreted imaginatively, the objects seem like nothing so much as highly advanced, unmanned investigatory probes or other scientific tools -- immense to us but tiny, perhaps even microscopic, to their creators -- from some greater plane of reality that were intermittently thrust into mankind's perception, and then removed from it with equal ease. Like objective correlatives to the allegory of Plato's Cave, the objects seemed like tangible, mocking proof that the universe is a much stranger place than mankind, with its dogmatic "consensus reality," wants to accept. This is true regardless of the genuine facts concerning their nature and origin.

The authors remain admirably restrained and objective throughout, hesitantly putting forth ideas but drawing no conclusions (except for one unfortunate slip in Chapter 16 when the UFOs are described as "something [that is] not of this Earth"). A number of witnesses of the phenomena-including police officers -- are quoted at length. Reports of alien abduction phenomena, what some witnesses called "telepathic communication" with the object, and CE - IIIs are noted but left purposefully undiscussed. As Jung concluded in his "Flying Saucers: A Modern Myth of Things Seen in the Skies," "Something is seen, but what?"

4-0 out of 5 stars The Government can't deny
A gripping read with powerful evidence that leads to the usual one and only conclusion - and still the government denies! Do not be put off by the appalling American English, with the terrible date system (days, months, years please), and few inconsistencies in the text. A map would have been useful, but otherwise there is not a single person who should not buy and read this book now.

3-0 out of 5 stars Both UFOs and occasional ultralights at same time
UFOs flew heavily through the lower New York state area (including Pine Bush, NY--Silent Invasion), for more than 20 years 1978-2000. In the mid 1980s, some idiot pilots thought it would be fine to "fool" people and pretend they were UFOs. Fortunately, many people had been seeing clear-cut ships/UFOs--nuts and bolts, windows, pod marks, for several months or years, and continued seeing them, in addition to the planes "pretending" to be UFOs, while "stuck" with our earthly technology--engines that make noise. The ships/UFOs have technology so much more advanced than ours that we can only begin an attempt to unravel their mysteries. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars incredibly powerful and eloquent book
This is the second of a four volume set. I'm on the last one. They are all incredibly good. Perhaps the best books I've read in my life, and I've read roughly 25 books on Buddhism, Christianity, new age scientific, and spiritual subjects over the last 3-4 years. I've never read a four volume set of anything in my life.
In general each of her books is better than the previous, presumably because she is becoming a better "channel." This second book is notably better written than the first, but I wouldn't skip the first.
Its a very improbable story, her story. Regardless of whether you believe it, the eloquence of the prose and the spiritual message are incredibly powerful. To make a point, not intending to denigrate Patricia's previous proffession in any way, I will say, "you will eventually come to realize that it would be impossible for a medical transcriptionist in Boise to write these books."

5-0 out of 5 stars You can go home again--to your real life between the worlds.
Improbable as is the thesis of EAGLES OF THE NEW DAWN--incredible as is its alleged origin on the Blue Crystal Planet orbiting the star Arcturus--this is a book that (like SONGS OF THE ARCTURIANS) I find myself returning to again and again, almost as if I were coming home. Through some wizardry of stylistic innovation--which she suggests has simply to do with their being of an extraterrestrial nature--these otherworldly songs of Patricia Pereira do contain, just as they are supposed to, the vibration of long-forgotten but utterly familiar love between the planets.

5-0 out of 5 stars Full of Inspiration, Magic, and Revelation
Patricia Pereira's books, The Arcturian Star Chronicles, are absolutely incredible on many levels. Eagles Of The New Dawn is the second volume of the series. It is written in the most beautiful, innovative language that one can imagine. Reading this book is like riding a magic carpet through the stars as Patricia transports you with her powerful, lyrical images. It is rare to find such startlingly original use of the English language. Embedded in this wonderful imagery are spiritual and practical messages for an awakening humanity ("eagles of the new dawn"). There is much wisdom revealed here for those ready to move to higher levels of consciousness. As one is engaged with this book, you feel yourself gently drawn into a heightened dimension. This very special book propels you into sacred space. Patricia Pereira is a yet to be discovered master writer of our time. This book is a special treat that you won't want to miss. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Aliens in Varginha...
Though I've not read the book I have heard the author discussing the incident detailed about a UFO crashing in Varginha, Brazil. The incident beings on January 19, 1996 with a damaged UFO heading towards Varginha, followed by several eye witness accounts of strange beings in the area. They all describe small 4 to 5 foot creatures, with oily brown skin, 3 protrusions on their heads, and large red eyes...Witnesses include ordinary citizens, school aged children, doctors and military personnel.

The story detailed in this book, along with a recent announcement by the Brazilian government that they would open their UFO files to the general public, may lead to absolute proof of an alien presence visiting our planet...

Anybody who enjoys reading about UFO incidents such as Roswell, Kecksburg, or Rendlesham should get a whole lot of enjoyment out of this book. ... Read more

RAMPA'S TRIPS TO OTHER WORLDS...WERE THEY TAKEN ON THE PHYSICAL PLANE OR WAS IT ACCOMPLISHED BY ASTRAL TRAVEL?This material is of such a controversial nature that it was kept out of his previously published work because his publishers thought it would compromise his more acceptable work. In this important publication (with Introduction by John Keel and a Foreword by Gray Barker), Rampa discusses his meetings with the Masters from other worlds who take Rampa onboard their craft where he was able to to visit several planets.Rare but a necessary addition to any Rampa library). ... This book is an unauthorized publication. In one of the many books by T. Lobsang Rampa he states that this is so, that the drawings are not at all good and he recommends that you do not buy it as it is a waste of money. Books that are unauthorized publications should not be sold under the authors name, especially when the author has died. How do you feel about this?

5-0 out of 5 stars UFOs Tibetan Style
T. Lobsang Rampa is a legendary spiritual leader whose gifts to humanity have continued to offer his readers a true and trustworthy vision of the wondrous worlds that lie just within reach of our own. More than 20 years after his death, Rampa's writings still manage to touch the heart with their uncannily realistic stories about the Astral Plane, the marvels of outer space, and the beauty of the Tibet he loved so much.

"My Visit To Venus" is an excellent example of Rampa's unique genius. It begins with a section of commentary by well-known researcher and author John Keel. Keel gives the reader a short course in Rampa's life story, including the engrossing tale of how Rampa became what may have been the first modern case of the Walk-In phenomenon. How a struggling British writer was transformed into a venerated New Age teacher and spiritual adventurer is beautifully told by Keel in his customary wonderful prose. A general history of the abduction phenomenon through the millennia is also included, which helps put Rampa's experiences in the context of mankind's age-old hand-in-hand stroll with the unknown.

Next comes an introduction by Gray Barker, one of the early pioneers of UFO research. Barker discusses his decision to publish some of Rampa's earlieset work and gives a detailed account of the controversy that accompanied the publication of "The Third Eye," Rampa's first book. Both Tibetans and the British media were up in arms about it, calling it a fraudulent piece of work and claiming that Rampa had never been to Tibet at all. Rampa answered his critics by saying that while he had never been there in his present body, the spirit of a Tibetan lama had entered his body under unusual circumstances. Barker's introduction also includes testimony from Rampa's wife as to the reality of the extreme personality changes in Rampa after the lama had moved in.

From that fascinating beginning, the book moves on to Rampa's own telling of the tale, which this time around features a journey to Venus, as the title implies.

Rampa is on a journey, accompanied by a few fellow lamas, to meet with the beings that are telepathically leading them on. After a freezing trek through a Tibetan mountain range, they come to a warm and blissful garden called The Hidden Land. There they encounter a deserted flying saucer sitting on the ground, which they enter and explore.

Soon they meet an alien Rampa calls The Tall One, who briefs them on their coming tour through outer space, the real purpose of their journey. Instead of describing the experience as warm and fuzzy, sweetness and light, Rampa talks frankly about the terror he feels as he is surrounded on all sides by such "high strangeness." That is another aspect of the abduction experience he shares with the more recent spate of modern abductees--one's initial reaction to the alien presence is nearly always one of fear.

But after those first moments of fright, Rampa and his friends traverse the heavens on a flying saucer and witness all the beauty of an alien paradise on Venus. In all fairness to Rampa, it isn't really necessary that the location is literally the planet Venus. It could be anywhere in any universe and the message would still be the same--heaven is waiting for those who are ready to go there.

You can read "My Visit To Venus" in one sitting, but its positive effects may last you a lifetime.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Must-Have for Rampa's Fans
This is not a paperback, it seems to be photocopied material.
It has a nice binding, and the size is Din-A4 paper.
The book is very thin, but it has extremely interesting
comments of John Keel and Gray Barker. At the end of the
book it advertises the "Special Rampa Meditation Tape".

5-0 out of 5 stars Talking to ET's
I'm re-reading the book Talking to Extraterrestrials by Lisette Larkins. This is a book that elevated my consciousness just reading it! It's also been one of the 1st times I've read a book where people see it, smile, go "ah-huh" and not comment on it. I actually feel a little self-conscious when certain people see it
- they make that immediate judgement upon this subject matter. Others want to read it after hearing my enthusiasm about it. That's just one element about this book. It showed me my own limitations, prejudices around the subject.

The elevated & advanced spiritual ideas as well as technology thrilled me. Their comments on cloning, genetics & their limitations with out spiritual considerations, ideas on animals, government etc., were also very enlightening. I liked their examples of changing story lines from good guy vs. bad guy to more inward struggles regarding movies, t.v., etc. While advancing the human potential through genetics can be helpful, what good, they say, is this among a polluted unhealthy environment? They use the idea of creating the perfect rose & putting it in the desert, it can't flourish, it may be the perfect rose, but it has to have a healthy environment to thrive. So do humans.

They say Roswell did happen, bodies were found & coverups made. They also say this is just a certain mentality that government can have & not to make a big issue of it. In fact, we make too many issues of so many things! Spend our time creating a better world! There are numerous examples on how to do this utilizing spiritual, creative, moral ideas. Read the book if you are curious.

Their ship has no weapons, they live for thousands of years, live in peace & harmony, love, creativity. They want to help us & will, we only need be receptive & open. We may think we are very open-minded, but tell anybody at the dinner table you've talked with aliens, or even read a book about talking to them & see how many rolled eyes, smirks you get.

The big questions is, why don't you show youselves? Let the world see you & then we will believe. Their answer is unique. They tried this in the past & it creates too much overwhelm for humans & it has a more negative effect than positive. However when we're really ready, they will show themselves. In the mean time they do communicate with many who are receptive. To find out more you really need to read the book. I've given very little away, there is so much in this book. This is a funny topic; are we ready to start a dialouge around this subject that is serious? This may be the groundbreaking book that helps. Time will tell. Holistic medicine is becoming more accepted, more mainstream & perhaps elevated spiritual ideas will become more mainstream even if they come from, do we dare think, from enlightened alien beings who want to help us, show us other worlds & other species far beyond our imagination? At this writing, there is far from mainstream acceptance, but that may be changing because of this book.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the most encouraging and interesting books I've read
I picked this book up on a whim. I haven't read much on UFOs or aliens, but I've always had frightening dreams about them since I was a child, and I was curious to see what Lisette had to say.

I was surprised by this book. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't this! Her writing is permeated by a sense of honesty, logic, curiosity, love, intelligence, and openness. By the time I finished reading this book, my conscious and subconscious attitudes towards the "scary aliens" in my dreams had changed. I no longer have alien nightmares, just curious dreams.

One of the most interesting things I got out of this book was an increased sense of perspective on our global culture. I try to be a compassionate and tolerant person--lots of us do--but how many of us are willing to strive for these same things with respect to other intelligent species, should we ever meet them? I've always thought that the media portrayal of extraterrestrials is silly, but after reading this book I felt much more aware of how deeply our culture fears the concept of extraterrestrials. If humans are still having serious racism issues, how the hell are we going to be accepting and rational in our encounters with beings from other parts of the universe?

To the reviewer who called Lisette "another California Channeler"--
Lisette definitely does not come across as thinking she is "the one channeling the most enlightened souls." In fact, this is one of the rare channeled books I've read that really conveys an attitude of humility and "take only what works for you."

This book has something truly valuable in it for all seekers; you don't have to "believe in aliens" to get something out of it.

5-0 out of 5 stars This book is wonderful!!!!!!
I've always been interested in extraterrestrials, and after reading this book have come to realize that I might be a contactee.Lisette doesn't seem like some "kook" who is making this stuff up.And I feel that one day very soon(sooner than all of you think)ALL contactees will feel safe to come forward and it will be those people who will help bring peace to this troubled planet. So to those people who think UFO's and "aliens" are a crock.........you have my deepest empathy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Most Relevant Work on Subject to Date
Whether this is your first exposure to personal contact with extraterrestrials, or you have read dozens of books on the subject, this book will have a wonderful impact on your thinking. As the beings repeatedly mention, everything they offer is for the reader to decide if it works for them or not. Nothing is presented as right or wrong, as 'the way' to do a certain thing - however the concepts are as challenging as you want them to be.

Are you ready to take a hard, but compassionate look at ourselves and our world, yourself and your world, with all of its flaws and frustrations and see how the very things which frustrate you the most are your greatest teachers? By employing the powerful tools of love, compassion, and understanding these 'grays' gently shed light on some of our darkest aspects and invite us to rise to the occasion of global peace.

I heard an interview with Lisette recently and she sounds like a very intelligent, but highly intact and integrated person. Her bravery has inspired me to reevaluate my own ET experiences to date and consider it contact. Anyone who is drawn to this work and is touched by its magic is a contactee, and may stand to take their place among the pioneers of Earth who defy convention and declare their sovereignty.

I have read dozens of channeled works from ETs and Lisette's book is perhaps the most informative, most practical and most relevant work published to date. It is a great read from the opening remarks to the conclusion and I am looking forward to reading it again, as well as any future publications from Lisette Larkins.

Breathe in light - breathe out love.

5-0 out of 5 stars Expands our view of human potential
Talking To Extraterrestrials is a milestone in the human potential movement. Not only does it offer truly eye-opening information, but it demonstrates a mode of human-to-human mental contact that will become as common as telephones in the decades to come as the consciousness of mankind keeps rising. As a carefully controlled Shift into the New Age, the Earth's frequency has been climbing since the 1960s.

Lisette demonstrates mental contact with other intelligences in a way that gives us "permission" to be O.K. with doing likewise ourselves. It's a paradigm shift and she is showing us just how much wonderful information we can receive from mental contact with extraterrestrial sources. Imagine, we needed a timid little lady cloistered in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia to give us permission to use one of our own faculties. Thank you, Lisette, for being the nervous pioneer. One day we'll all look back at our history, wonder why we didn't become self-empowered earlier, and laugh ourselves silly.

ETs are watching us, they are friendly and they want to help us when we allow that help. This has already been demonstrated in previous ET contact books, especially in Lyssa Royal's excellent book Millennium: Tools for the Coming Changes.

The ability for telepathic mental contact is already built into our brains. We are subconsciously connected to the rest of the human race. We just haven't been doing it consciously. Now that it's wakey-wakey Shift time we can relearn telepathy as a conscious capability with each other and even with ETs.

My favorite part of the book was one that I found very magical. Having sat in fresh crop circles in fields in England, I have often wondered about the heart-centered, magical feeling that they contain. They're just, well, enchanting. The ET's explanation of how they make crop circles finally gave me the answer to this riddle.

They do use technology to swirl the crops, leaving them flattened to the ground, yet amazingly alive, well and still growing. However, the major part of the operation is done by cooperating fully with nature. They commune with the crops themselves and with the nature spirits in the area - the gnomes, the elves and the faeries - making it a multi-dimensional work of art in nature. According to them, "Like a trumpeter in a symphony, we herald the beginning... and the gnomes come out from the tree trunks, and the faeries with silver wings fly to the spot, and together we make music this way in the plants."

Talking To Extraterrestrials provides an enlightening perspective on humanity's ongoing shift into full awareness. Being immersed in the Shift it is sometimes difficult for us to see the whole forest instead of just the trees. Their off-planet overview of our potential to change the world is both inspiring and empowering. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Just a little whacky
Just a little to hard too believe. This book did served it's purpose to entertain me. This is the firt Commander X book I've read, why the Commander X name, just use your real name please. No proof in what this guy is saying, there's always something when it comes to getting real proof. This guy might be nuts and I like books on U.F.O's, or this guy is on the level, not likely but maybe.

5-0 out of 5 stars Much closer to the truth than you think!
The tales Commander X tells are very similar to what my father used to tell us as kids in the early 1960s. He was attached to the CIA and stationed at the Pentagon. The idea of underground alien bases may seem wild to most people, but dad told the very same stories as Commander X. We had our mail censored, phones tapped and guys in suits following us around taking pictures. I was floored when I read Underground Alien Bases as it was the same stuff I heard as a kid. Not a book to be just blown off.

1-0 out of 5 stars A laugh riot
this book is absolute trash, but it is a very funny read. But if you try to take a seriously, you will put it down after a few pages, then go out in your back yard, start a roaring fire and then toss it in. And the name commander X is very corny. What is he commanding? the wallets of paranormal believers?

5-0 out of 5 stars WORLD BELOW OUR FEET
Many years ago I used to listen to the Long John Nebel radio show and he would have on guest like Ray Palmer then editor of FLYING SAUCERS FROM OTHER WORLDS. Palmer would discuss his theory that the world was actually layered and that an entire civilization lived inside vast caverns tunneled out by the people from Atlantis who had help in building these tunnels from Extraterrestrials they were in contact with on a regular basis. I havent read much in recent years on the subject except THE SMOKY GODS and a book or two by Timothy Green Beckley. SO it was refreshing to find something of recent vintage on the subject of underground structues, bases and the like. Commander X comes at the subject from a military point of view -- more or less claiming that he knows where the greys -- those small, nasty, aliens -- have made their homes. Some of their underground bases are located in the vast tunnel system, while others are side by side with the underground facilities being shared with the New World Order or Secret Government. This is a very well researched and very well written addition to the library of material on subsurface activity.

Do aliens really live unnderground in bases made by the government? Some say it is so. In this book, there is evidence and facts about this statement, and for anyone that believes in "U.F.O.s" or "Aliens" This is an excellent source of info, and for anyone who loves science fiction, this book is for you ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The Usual Suspects
It's been said that a truly successful conspiracy requires that no one be able to prove that the conspiracy even exists. The New World Order conspiracy, perhaps the most threatening to the people of the world in general, is just such an example. Were it possible to prove that a plan exists to enslave the world with mind control technology and other top secret weapons, the people would rise up in rebellion and effectively quash the whole dastardly affair.

The dauntlesss research and writing of the gutsy but anonymous Commander X may be a link in that chain of freedom. Among his numerous books dealing with the reality of the Secret Government, surely one of his best is "Incredible Technologies of the New World Order: UFOs--Tesla--Area 51," in which Commander X makes use of material leaked through the years, either by accident or design, by various government agencies as well as secret insider reports his status as a former military intelligence operative makes him privy to.

Throughout the book, Commander X cautions the reader not to be too quick to dismiss his words as the ravings of a crazed fanatic. Like all researchers and writers who study the various conspiracy theories, the inability to prove their allegations results from how well the conspirators cover their tracks. It is all too easy to slip into a comfortable slumber rather than rise up and fight against an enemy you can't quite see but who is nevertheless holding a knife to your throat.

Commander X covers all the usual suspects--the Gray aliens, the Nazi scientists who came to work for the CIA and other agencies after WWII, the US and Russian military establishments, the world media machine, the work of genius inventor Nikola Tesla being applied to military purposes--with his usual skill and aplomb. He weaves together a very convincing tapestry of the slowly emerging New World Order and then concludes with a call to arms to the reader, urging that they resist the gradually darkening gloom of the coming One World Government that threatens to take away all vestiges of personal freedom.

If there are any complaints to be made about the book, it may be that it should have been edited a little more carefully. There are a few too many misspellings and occasional typos that nearly render a couple of sentences incoherent. But that's a minor quibble when dealing with such vital information, and Commander X's overall command of the facts behnind the scenes more than compensates for any errors in the text.

One must ultimately decide for one's self how to view the conspiracy theories centering on the New World Order, but reading this book and others by Commander X will certainly provide enough raw data on the subject to at least make an educated decision. As Commander X warns, there is too much at stake for one to remain simply in ignorant bliss.

5-0 out of 5 stars COULD THIS ALL BE TRUE?
speachless...Thats the way I feel after reading this book -- another epic by the controversial Commander X.According to the author, there are many things that the government and military are doing behind our back that we are not being told about. Like Particle Beam Weapons; UFOs build on Earth; Underground Alien Bases -- and much, much more.I HAVE seen a UFO so I know that they are real. It was trinagle-shaped and Commander X says that this is the type of technology that has been back engineered, based upon crashed flying saucers that our government has uncovered in Roswell and elsewhere.I dont know if this is all for real -- but it seems like it could very well be.The book is well written and held my attention. Since William Cooper is no longer with him perhaps Commander X can step into his shoes.

2-0 out of 5 stars who really knows?
I must say that I found most of this book a little far fetched for my belief system. Actually a lot far fetched. I can't comprehend Germans on the moon in 1944 nor Nazi bases under Antarctica. Nazi super cities in South America? Nazi contact with Aliens in the late 1800s? Where there Nazi's in the late 1800s? Guess I'll have to find that out first.

But some of the theories could be true. Many have speculated about the one world government takeover that may or may not be coming true as things evolve. The theories on gun control are interesting.

While I can't completely ignore everything in this book I beleive that most of it is quite a stretch. Pure fiction. The sources he sights are others who write about the same thing. Everytime you might think he is going to offer some concrete proof he hides behind the old "if I tell you who I am I will die" line. However, I found the chapter on Tesla quite interesting. And many of his statements in the chapter have been verified. So, is the entire book true since one chapter seems more verifiable? This is why I could not give it a one star rating. There seems to be some truth in this book. The problem becomes figuring out where it is.

5-0 out of 5 stars Should be six stars, wish i had a way off this doomed rock!
A masterpiece told by Commander X with a simple honesty who, by his subject matter, is probably talking in public only very briefy and probably with finality. A world sold without a public sale under new ownership neither friendly nor benign. Commander X is pulling no punches... and dead god in the sky help us if he is.

1-0 out of 5 stars Idiotic !!
Stupid book written by someone who might possibly need therapy. Who is in control of the earth, Aliens or rich humans? Did you know that the United Nations wants to take over the world so they can "legalize all drugs and pornography", and "depopulate all large cities into camp systems in the countryside" (page 139). If you want a book about one world government then buy a different one, this is silly kids stuff. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Other Sky - what a wild book!
I never thought I'd say this about a book that deals with ET encounters and advanced life forms who are visiting this planet: But Wow! What a wild book! Mellas and Caywood are brave enough to come forward and wrtie what they did in The Other Sky, but I had no idea it would move me in the way it did or be such a great read. I highly recommend this compelling and enlightening book...It makes Speilberg's "Taken" look tame by any comparison.

I was suprised by the amount of detail and the crediblity of the authors. Caywood and Mellas really have a handle on this subject like no one I have ever read before. I'd like to offer my recommendation as a solid and reliable one, since I don't usually go in for this kinda of genre (UFO's and such) but a friend purchased this book for me... So I gave it try and I loved it. It was most intriguing and inspiring, not mention really scarey in some parts of the book. I recommend this book to you if you want a book that will really grab you long after you've finished reading it. It really made me think and look at the bigger picture in a whole new way.

5-0 out of 5 stars What an amazing story!
After reading "The Other Sky" I believe the authors are telling the truth, and have had contact with entities outside of our normal understanding. I have been studying the UFO phenomenon for a number of years, and Landi and David's stories are typical of most UFO abductees, including Whitley Strieber.
The typical abduction experiencer has a history of involvement with the paranormal, the occult, and/or New Age beliefs. Most have a strong belief in reincarnation and other Eastern philosophies as well.
If you want to know the true identity of the beings of "The Other Sky" I strongly recommend you read "Alien Encounters" by Chuck Missler.

5-0 out of 5 stars Simply Fascinating
This is a GREAT BOOK FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO KNOW MORE about this preplexing and fascinating subject. Caywood and Mellas are gifted story tellers with a lot of heart and new insight. I recommend this book highly!!!

I can't say that I agree with everything Good proposes in this book, but he does raise some interesting possibilities about UFOs. Good is not claiming that UFOs are extraterrestrial, but simply that they do exist and that the governments of the world have been hiding evidence of this fact. His study is exhaustive but would still be worth reading just to examine the facsimile copies of confidential and secret documents from the U.S., Canada, and Europe, as well as the controversial MJ-12 documents. ...
